(Finally back. Hope I didn't miss too much) Ghost continues to keep a watchful eye on the horizon before him. Before too long, a small town appeared in the distance. It had to be Ponyville. Ghost jumps back into the cart. "Get ready, guys. We're about to reach no-man's land."

The train jolts to a halt just outside of the everfree forest. "Here we are every pony! Lets get going. "She said while she fastened up her saddlebags and swung open the door. The smell of death was imminent. "Let's see if we can find zecoras shack without too much trouble!" She calls to the others before hopping out of the train

The train comes to a halt near the Everfree forest she hears Grand Finale call to get out of the train. Thunder grabs her things and hops out of the train and stands next to Grand Finale.

"I know how to get to Zecoras shack. I grew up in Ponyville and went to her shack quite a few times to get potions. The trail to her house is probably about a mile that way." said Thunder pointing farther down the tracks. "It will be an easy walk."

Ghost slipped on his mask. And stepped outside with Grand and said in a huff. "Let's make this quick. We're just going to restore the kid's magic and continue on." Ghost began to walk through the forest with the others. Everfree always used to give him nightmares when he was little. It still kind of creeps him out now.

Fire Horn tapped Staburst's horn.

"Huh, what's happening, is it morning?" Starburst wasn't exhausted anymore after the sleep he had gotten.

"Yes, we've arrived in Ponyville, it shouldn't be too long before we have your magic up and running again, just try not to wear yourself out again, like that." Fire Horn said, hopping out of the train.

Grand smiles happily as thunder takes the lead. The walk there is surprisingly peaceful, and she has a good feeling about finding the spell they're looking for. "It shouldn't be long before we are on our way to canterlot!" She smiled at every pony, and slowly saw the zebras shack appear in the dustance

Carrick wasn't all to sure to just jump into a suicide mission with this group. Their last plan only got him to become Trotter's meat. He felt a bit more safe to stay on the train than to go out there. Even if he made the plan himself.  "I'll hold the fort down on the train." Carrick said, "You ponies go on ahead."

Ghost looked at Carrick and kept walking. "Whatever you want, Carrick. Just keep an eye out for trouble." After a while, they finally came across the shack. Surprisingly, they didn't even get harmed while they walked. "Okay, then. Let's go see this sorcerer."

Grand nodded here head, but suddenly squeaked as a familiar zebra appeared in front of them.

 

"Why do you pony folk walk into my home without asking permission"vZecora growled in her strong accent.

 

"We-were terribly sorry, we are just here to get a potion to restore magic" Grand squeaks

 

Zecora glares at the ponies. "You may enter, but only to get what you need." She said, watching the ponies carefully

Ghost begins to walk into the shanty shack of this odd zebra. As he entered the shack, he couldn't help but feel a bit weird and uncomfortable. This zebra seemed to be a master alchimest. The smell of potion brewing filled the air. Quite honestly, it made Stephan sick to his stomach.

Zecora smiled "I see you smell my latest concoctions. They are used to fight this monsters that roam. Would you like to see my testing room? I see how they work down in the basement" she said with a strange smile. Grand was looking at all the different potions. She was absolutely mesmerized by them

Ghost was instantly interested. There's probably a potion that they could use to help them defeat Alesiar. "If you have a potion that could help us take down a super trotter, show me what you got, stripes." Ghost said with a smirk. He headed down to the basement. The potions seemed to give off radiant glows, which gave a colorful touch to the dark and damp room.

Fire Horn stepped into the hut with Starburst still on his back. It was amzing, all the different liquids and ingredients, most giving off magical glows. He followed everyone else down into the basement.
"So, how about that potion." Fire Horn asked.

Zecora unlocked the door to her testing room. "I shall show you" she says before swinging the door open. Locked in seperate cages were trotters of all shapes and sizes, ready to be tested on. "Grand strayed behind and admired the potions before starting down the stairs to meet every pony

Ghost walked through the lab with caution. He felt like he was entering an entirely different world. At his sides, he saw the trotters in the cages. He couldn't help but laugh at it. They were constantly clawing at the cages. "Sad. You guys can kill off almost a whole population, yet you can't get past a simple metal box."

Grand entered the basement and walked past the cages until a trotter caught her eye. In a cage that didnt have anything special about it was a little yellow filly with orange hair and three popcorn kernels on her flank. "N-no.... No it can't be..." Grand said quietly before slamming into Zecora "YOU HAD HER, YOU MONSTER, SHE'S DEAD BECAUSE OF ME AND YOU FLAUNT HER LIKE A TROPHY IN FRONT OF ME?!" Grand screams at Zecora. "Get off of me you foolish pony" Zecora says, unable to push her off

Grand entered the basement and walked past the cages until a trotter caught her eye. After a while, Ghost spotted the cage, too. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. They were too late to save her from the horrible demise of the undead. Ghost slowly walked to Grand. "Grand... I'm so sorry we couldn't save her." Ghost lowered his head. He let her down again.

Grand glared at the people in the basement. She tossed Zecora out with her magic before turning to Ghost. "Hold that sword out." She said, preparing herself to perform the spell. Her eyes were distant, and her voice was quiet and monotone. "Let's get it over with" she said, magic forming around her horn

Ghost slowly held out the sword. "Let's do this."

(I shall now begin to complain about the long character limit. I still just can't comprehend how long the flipping thing is. Two hundred bucking characters?? What the buck? Seriously, what the buck, everyone?)

Grand cast the spell. It completely drained her energy, but she was almost sure it was successful. "Now I must ask you all to leave" she said, watching everyone carefully. "This isn't a choice. All if you, leave" her voice was dry of emotion and her body was cold and distant. She waited for everyone to leave the basement

Carrick went to investigate the train itself. They were able to own a train? This group does have some luck on their hooves. Carrick took himself to the engine of the room. Seeing the only system used in Equestria. The coal system. They certain have enough for Canterlot, but how much reserves will be left? Carrick looked at the controls, as he took in some time to learn the basics of it.

Before he left, Ghost put his hoof on Grands shoulder and spoke to her in a defeated tone. "I'm... I'm sorry, Grand. I failed you again." Ghost then ran out of the shack and proceeded back to the train. No one could see past the mask, but he let out a tear. He couldn't believe it. He got Grand's hopes up again... only to have them shattered again.

Once everyone had left, she locked the basement door, and used the last of her magic to open the door of her sisters cage, and say quietly, watching the sister she knew come closer and sink her teeth into grand neck.

Ghost waited in the train for a while. Grand sure was taking a long time. He ran back to the shack at full speed to check up on her. He knocked on the locked door. "Grand? You doing alright in there?" No answer. Ghost then busted down the door, only to find her dead sister feasting on her. "OH SWEET MOTHER OF LUNA!"

Fire Horn was looking through the potions and ingredients until he came upon a "magical rejuvenator"

Ghost came barging in through the door and went down to the basement. A cry came from downstairs. Which could only mean one thing.

"Ghost, get up here, now." Fire Horn shouted. "We have a situation!"

Suddenly, trotters were surrounding the hut, Ghost's shouting must have called them. If they tried to force their way out, there was no guarantee, that Fire Horn could keep Starburst safe.
