Missy began to writhe in agony as Grand cut through her leg, it wasn't too violent because of Fire holding onto her as tightly as he could, whispering "sorry", over and over again, the screaming was unbearable, there was blood everywhere, at that point Missy passed out from the blood loss.

Hearth essentially gave up the fight. "Not mah friends you don't." he essentially hopped up and began running on the heads of the trotters. "You want somethin' worth fightin'? Come on and get me then!" he shouted, attracting the attention of a large denomination of the horde. He began to run, whooping and shouting as he did so, pulling the trotters he'd gotten the attention of with him.

Grand finished cutting through and immediately began tiring it up tightly. "We'll have to burn the wound closed" she said, looking at it. It was very bloody. "I need something hot" she called out, holding the leg up and applying pressure to it. If they didnt hurry she would die, if the infection hasn't already spread to the rest of her

Stephan thought for a minute, and he got an idea. He looked at Fire Horn. "Fire, they don't call you what they call you for nothing, right? Can you make a fire of some sort to burn the wound closed?" He asked, as he watched Missy bleeding out. He was more worried than ever.

He just sat there staring at Missy's unconcious face, the plague had taken so much from them, it took their son, their frinds, their home, and now it just took her leg.
"Yes." Fire said in a croaky voice as his horn lit on fire and he did as he was instructed, the bleeding had stopped.

Grand sighed with relief. "Thank goodness" she said before unstrapping her keg and placing it next to missy. " she's going to need it more than I will. Luckily we both lost the same leg so it should work well" she said tiredly. Suddenly everything swirled around her. Trotters were everywhere. She began to panic, though there was nothing Around her.

"Woohoo!" Stephan jumped for joy. He looked at Grand, who looked like she was about to have a breakdown. She was looking left and right, like she saw something invisible. "Uhhh... Grand, are you okay?" He noticed she was worried. "Calm down, Grand. What's going on with you?"

"Haha, idiots. Ah'm one pony." He said as he lept through the air, barely catching himself on an overhanging ledge as the trotters he was running from collapsed into a blob in a molten lava pit. He looked at the few that were left. He hopped down and finished them swiftly. "Rest all the tired dead, yer rest has finally come." He said solemnly before running back to the cave in remembrance of Missys predicament. "Is everything al...." He stopped his words dead as he saw what had happened. He looked at Grand who was still terrified. He took her by the shoulders and held her completely still. "It's alright. Everything's gonna be fine." He said gently. He pulled her into a hug recognizing her minds shattered state.

"Get OFF of me, you monster!" Grand screamed, pushing him away. Grand had not seen her friends, they were all trotters. She couldn't bring herself to kill the trotters. "Leave me alone!" She screamed, retreating back into the cave.where were her friends? What was happening to her?"

Stephan fell on his rear onto the ground. What was happening to Grand. He had to find out. He got out his flashlight and went into the cave. "Grand, wait! I just want to talk!" He looked around the cave aimlessly for the unicorn. His light shined on Grand and he was a little startled. "What's wrong, Grand? It's me, Stephan. You know you can tell me anything..."

Hearthsong simply stood completely still as she ran. He felt awful, he suffered with her. He knew exactly what she was going through. "This is exactly what happened when mah daughter died. Ah completely lost it. She can't see anything as she should, and her thoughts are contrary to how she would normally act." He said before following Stephan into the cave. He stood next to Stephan, he just didn't have any words.

"No, stay away! I won't do it!" She yelled, backing into the cave wall. "Get away!" She clenched her eyes closed. "When did this happen? When did everyone turn?" She said to herself quietly. A nervous, yet maddened laugh escaped her. Suddenly, she stopped for a moment, as if in a trance.

"That's not somethin' that most ponies would do. Ah'm lost right now." He whispered to himself. His mind raced and his thoughts clouded, he was tongue tied. He was getting frustrated, until a voice in his head whispered something.

 

'It's not your fault.'

 

"..." He finally knew what to say. "It's not yer fault!! It isn't none of us could've stopped that boy from dyin' It's time to stop beatin' yer self up over it and move on." He shouted

"No, stay away! I won't do it!" She yelled, backing into the cave wall. "Get away!" She clenched her eyes closed. "When did this happen? When did everyone turn?" She said to herself quietly. A nervous, yet maddened laugh escaped her. Suddenly, she stopped for a moment, as if in a trance.

"Grand, what the HELL?"

Zeta was quick to jump on Grand and hold her still, almost as if something was putting things in her mind. Even so he kept her pinned along the wall and awaited for something different to happen.

"Don't worry, it's only me, Zeta! Nothing bad happened whatsoever, just me."

Suddenly the trance ended and grand awoke as if from a sleep. "Ooh... Where did the trotters go? Did we get them all? How odd... I don't remember coming back into the cave" she said, standing up. "Has missy woken up yet? I should go check on her. Excuse me boys" she said, smiling, though a little confused as to when she got into the cave.

Stephan slowly approached Grand. "We're not all turned, Grand. We're all still here, alive." He said in a calm and soothing tone. "We lost ponies on the way, but I told you before, and I'll say it again; we'll make it through this together. I promise you that on my life." He said, looking her in the eye.

Steel had let lose all his throwing weapons and was dive bombing to avoid getting bite he saw Missy and remixes wag happend his anger came In a huge wave his dagger took on it's red aura and his eyes turned black h let out a demonic wail as he landed and killed anythig that moved to close steel had lost contole h would have to let his anger out befor he would regain controle

Hearth put his hoof back and held Stephan back. "Do not tell her what happened, she has to figure it out for herself. If you tell her, she might lose it again." He trotted after Grand and motioned to the rest of the group by moving his hooves across his neck in a crossing motion.

Suddenly the trance ended and grand awoke as if from a sleep. "Ooh... Where did the trotters go? Did we get them all? How odd... I don't remember coming back into the cave" she said, standing up. "Has missy woken up yet? I should go check on her. Excuse me boys" she said, smiling, though a little confused as to when she got into the cave.

Zeta was a bit confused at first, but hesitantly let her go and stepped aside. "Grand, are you alright? Is anything feeling different then before, like you were confused or anything?"

Because of it, he had an eye on her for anything bad to happen, especially one that would involve Missy as one of the victims.

Stephan watched Grand walk off, a bit perplexed. He couldn't make out what he just witnessed. One moment, she was yelling at the others like they were enemies. The next moment, she's acting like her normal self. He turned to the guys. "Guys... what just happened?"

Grand turned to him, confused. "We'll, of course you're all still alive, you're all right here" she said obviously. "There's no need to go and get all cheesy on me" she laughed, a little unsure why everyone was looking at her so strange. "Are you guys alright? It seems like you've seen a ghost or something"

Stephan listened to what Hearth said and tried to avoid the truth. "No, Grand, we're alright. Everything is all fine and dandy." He said in an assuring mood. "We should probably check on Missy. The wound looked pretty bad once we actually patched it all up."

Grand turned to him, confused. "We'll, of course you're all still alive, you're all right here" she said obviously. "There's no need to go and get all cheesy on me" she laughed, a little unsure why everyone was looking at her so strange. "Are you guys alright? It seems like you've seen a ghost or something"

Eventually he let out an exhale and calmed down a little. "Whatever Stephan said, mainly. Anyway sorry for pinning you to the wall for about three seconds, I don't know if it hurt or not since I did put some weight on you."

Hearthsong slid his way over to Zeta with a convincing smile on his face. He essentially punched Zeta in the shoulder and pulled him into a 'playful' headlock. "Oh Zeta, QUIT jokin' around." He said enunciating the word quit.

"You know you just punched me in this really harsh armor, and also I wouldn't know what you're talking about when you say joking around." Speaking quickly before flipping Hearth over but, made sure he landed without getting hurt.

"Also, your headlock was very bad unless it was intentional for it just to be for fun."
