Steel killed all the trotters around him his anger began to subside as he walked back to the cave his eye shifted back and the dagger list its aura right as steel got to te entrance steel passed out

((it's a side effect fro the daggers enchantment he just unleashed it's full power with out training so it too a toll on his body))

"Just stop talking before I put you in a real headlock." Hearth whispers harshly as he stands up. "So, maybe we SHOULD go and see how Missy's doing, you can never be too careful now that so much has happened." Hearth said trying to sound as casual as possible. His mind was always reeling, but surprisingly clear now. As though he'd gotten over some past trauma.

"Hn..?" He did his best not to laugh, but gave a smirk instead. "That almost sounds like a challenge. Anyway we might as well do what you said and go check on her, after all the Karma I've given her.."

So Zeta followed closely behind Hearth, getting prepared juust in case something random happens :3

Grand looked at them strangely. "Crazy ponies" she muttered, going to check on missy. Her pulse was returning to normal and no signs if the trotter infection. She would be fine. "We'll it seems both of the mares are missing a leg, hmm?" She said, finding a bit if humour in the situation

Hearthsong saw that subtlety was getting her nowhere, he had to push a little. He trotted up and walked next to Grand. "So, how are you? That was an intense battle, these last few days have been pretty intense." He had a thought. "You said ah could ask ya about anything right?"

"Of course! Yeah, the last few days have been tough, it's sorta starting to get to me" she said a little nervously. "I'm sure ill work my way out if it though. I'm sure every pony else is feeling the same way" she said, not wanting to draw any attention to her problems. "Although it was odd. One minute in helping missy and the next I'm in the cave being held... Down. "She said, realizing what zeta was doing. She put the idea aside

"Ah'm wonderin' now, about somethin' personal. How're ya handlin' the whole deal with this Starburst business?" Hearthsong asked, hoping that he was subtle enough not to alert Grand to what had happened. "Ah mean, we're all takin' it hard. How're YOU doin' though?" He asked sitting down.

In the meantime, Zeta took off his equipment again but noticed Steel on the ground. So he rushed over toward him and picked him up, bringing him inside and set him down just below Missy.

"Yeah, sorry about that Grand.. You just were acting weird to all of us and I had a fear something bad would happen. Anyways, it looks like you have more then one downed peep when stuff happens like this." Pointing to where he had laid Steel down.

"Well, I guess I can't say I'm taking it perfectly. Itcseemsvthat whenever I see a trotter, I just see my friends that have perished. It's.. It's silly, I'm sure ill get over it. I just need to learn to deal with it. But perhaps it's because I'm the one who... Stopped starburst from turning that often gets to me the most. Sometimes I catch myself thinking what I would do if you were all.. One if those, but I snap myself out if it quickly. It's really just a bit if a nightmare really, nothing more" she says, a little embarrassed. "What do you mean acting weird? I haven't been doing anything out if the ordinary have I?"

"Ah think Zeta's just a little dehydrated from the battle. Zeta, you should get some water, and after ya get some rest please clean up some of the trotter bodies." Hearth says. He turns back to Grand and tilts his head. "It's not yer fault ya know. I don't think any of us could've stopped what happened." He put a hoof on her shoulder. "Yer not gonna become one of those things. Ah promise, ah won't let it happen."

"Well, I'm not worried about me as much as I should be. It's everypony else I worry about. I don't know what I'd do if any if you turned" she said, with a tired smile. "I'm just fine though, please don't worry about me. If there's anyone we should be worrying about its missy. That poor dear. At least I'll be able to help her though"

"Well, you've been-" But suddenly he was interrupted by Hearth, and from his point of view it seemed purposely.

It's true that he was dehydrated somewhat and hasn't had a good sleep for a long while, but this was backed up by Stephan and possibly Fire as well. So it wasn't an illusion after all, but more of something to hide..

Zeta didn't like the thought of it, but decided it was best to keep it hidden, for now. "I'll go grab a drink and clean out the bodies, but your conversation is pretty interesting so I think i'll stick around you guys afterward."

"Thanks Zeta." Hearth said with a nod. He turned back to Grand, smiling pleasantly. "Nothin' is gonna happen t' anyone. We're a team. We're gonna get through this together." He said moving his hoof from her shoulder to her hoof. He stood up. "Ah'm gonna go and scout the area, look for shortcuts to where we're headed. Ah won't go too far, so if'n ya need anything just holler."

Meanwhile Zeta went over and drank a full canteen of water without really knowing, then started to pull the bodies out and pile them far from the cave where they would rot in peace.

After finishing, he came back inside and noticed Heart leaving, so he gave a little snarl to him before sitting down next to Grand.

"I'd assume your conversation went well.. Anyway, I don't think you took notice of the fainted one behind the fainted one, hm? Don't worry though, his vital signs are normal so he probably was knocked out from... Huh, I cant guess how so."

Missy started to wake, she felt light-headed for whatever reason, she was lying on her back against a wall, she could see all her friends, they were all talking, that was nice.

"Guys, what happ..." She said before looking down at her leg. Fire Horn quickly stopped her from freaking out.

"Don't worry, uhhh......everything's.....fine?" Fire Horn fumbled for words. But instead she started hyperventilating.

The damage that was caused by the trotters' attack was devastating, one mare had lost one good leg. Ink was busy inspecting some of the corpses along side with Zeta who was clearing them up. "Triple - E and the trotter virus, not a very good combination..." he said  with his teeth clenched together while he found this tribal amulet covered with blood around the neck of a dead zebra, "don't you agree, clan member of the Plainstrider clan?" Plainstrider zebras, he didn't think that they were the first to fall to the infection; he bowed his head down and closed the eyes of the dead zebra in front of him, "I'm sorry." he whispered quietly, since Plainstrider zebras were the ones that helped him escape from the Hajoons.

He noticed the sound of Missy hyperventilating, surprised that her leg has been amputated. Ink rushed to the scene, knowing that panicking would speed up blood pressure and flow, "Just relax, you're fine, you are still alive and that counts the most, isn't that right Fire Horn?" Ink said as he kept his eyes firmly at Missy, observing any signs of infection or perhaps blood poisoning, "She's clear and healthy, but she needs blood." Ink whispered to Fire Horn's ear.

"What do you mean, relax, i cna't relax, i'm missing a leg, also, i'm feeling very woozy, most likely blood loss, it'll be a while before i'll be moving anywhere, sorry guys, i've held us up once again." Missy said, looking ashamed.

"Don't worry about that the one thing that matters is you're alive, and you aren't a trotter." Fire Horn said.

"Fire Horn's right... just try to relax, wait- " Ink searched his satchel for something in particular that might assist in relaxing Missy, he pulled out a small vile containing some kind of liquid and handed over to Missy, "here, eucalyptus extract, this might help. Just sniff it up... it's like an aroma therapy." he had already opened up the cap so Missy won't have any further problem.

"By the way, Fire... is your blood type and Missy's blood type the sa- " Ink cut as he realized that there was no equipment suitable to perform a blood transfusion, "Never mind about that." he saw that this time, there was nothing to work with; rendering him worthless, all he did was killed one trotter using his survival knife and that was all. In his mind, he kept blaming himself for not being able to act fast enough, just like what happened to Starburst and now Missy was injured because he was too afraid, too afraid to shed blood.

It caused Ink shift back to his gloomy state, knowing that there wasn't anything that he could do to speed up Missy's recovery, he sat close to a wall and took out his black journal -- as usual -- but this time he wasn't to far apart from the group.

steel woke up his head hurt and he didnt remember anyhting past killimg the trotters he was weak and shaky,i really want to save these nut im in no condtion to be of any use ill just have to use one steel thiught as he shakely walked to his bag he reached in and pulled out a small bottle and a needle he useed the  eneedle to get the contents out of the bottle "grand come over here i need your help"steel said as he sat down to avoid falling "i need you to inject me with this i would do it but im to shaky"

"Fire Horn the Leader, yes... that's good. Grand Finale the Caring... might as well, Steel the Twin-Blades, oh - that's really good, Zeta the Strong, Hearthsong the Dedicated, Stephan the Speed, Missy the Kind." Ink Drop muttered each and every name quietly as he wrote them down to his journal, each with titles matching their personality that Ink had seen so far, "good names, beautiful ones..." he sighed, "I really miss writing." he said in his mind.

Grand hobbled over to steel. "Sure, now stay still and don't tense up" she said kindly before injecting the fluid. "Might I ask what this is?' She said before noticing missy was up. "Good morning, I'm sure you had a nice nap? It would have been worse if you stayed up" she said, examining the wound. Sealed up completely." Alright now this is going to feel strange" she said, strapping the leg onto her. Luckily they had bitten in around the same place so the amputation was very similar to grands. "What are the odds hmm?" She said before tightening the straps and checking her pulse

"thanks and its a mix of adrenalin and a steroid that helps you heal faster i carry three but this stuff is hard to come by and one bottle is worth 250 bits and i had three till now" steel said as the mix entered his system he wasnt shackyand his head stoped hurting "now any kind of injury i have well start to heal rapidly" steel said happy that he brought it with him

"An adrenalin and a steroid, huh..? That sounds like drugs, but whatever works your way Steel then it's alright."

Zeta took one look at it before turning his attention back to Grand, who had given her fake leg up.

He was a little concerned now since both her and Missy had no back leg. Hopefully it didn't get damaged so he would have to help multiple ponies to the shrine. But in his curiosity, he waved his hoof just under the little nub and made a scrunch. "Hey Grand, feel free to not answer but do you ever feel like your leg is still there?"

" i guess that it is  drug but its the healing kind the adrenalin is in there so that your body will fucntion with enough you wont even feel the pain of the wound and the  steroid helps heal you faster"steel said "and if i hadnt passed of from blood loss when i was stabbed in the side i would have stoped the blood flow and then use some anyways its only for emergincies and ill let anypony that needs it use it but i only have two bottles and one bottle is a does"

" well if you mean a phantom limb, then yes, I occasionally feel as though it is still there" she said, watching him wave his hoof around. "Missy will have that feeling much more often than I will, since its so recent" she said, turning to face zeta. "Why do you ask? Just curiosity?"
