Ghost hangs his mask up on the hanger and walks across the train. This voyage back to Ponyville seems a little suicidal. But, if Fire knew what he was doing, he wasn't going to argue. Ghost sat down next to Grand and Starburst. They both seemed quite tired. "How're you two holding up?"

Ghost let out a big sigh. "Look, I'm not a big fan of going back to Ponyville either. In fact, of all places, this one is probably one of the worst to go back to. But, hey, we survived Manhattan together. I'm pretty sure we can get through Ponyville again, too." Grand tried to comfort Grand. He spoke in a voice so Starburst wouldn't hear it.

"WAIT!" Carrick shouted, trying to get everypony attention. "Look, I'm not saying that getting that colt's magical powers back isn't some type of priority, but if this was a suicide mission before. Then, doing that again sounds like a really bad idea. We need to actually consider our options here before we start jumping the gun." Carrick looked at Ghost.

 

"We got lucky with Manehattan. If we stayed any longer there, I'm sure that thing would of killed us. Luck doesn't' last forever. So I think we should take a good time and we actually talk about options here, okay?"

(LOL I'm comforting myself) grand nodded, remembering Nanehattan. "Yes but I think that was due to a pretty well timed stroke of luck" she said, gesturing to the young alicorn. "But if that's the only place to get the potion then so be it" she said defeated. Suddenly she remembered the spell. "Oh my goodness, how many data has it been since... The whole sword thing " she said, completely forgetting about it due to the recent events. "I think I've almost got the spell down, I just need a little longer to perfect it" she assured him

Josh went up the the roof of the train and lay himself down using his wings to keep him on the roof of the train. he had always liked the stars in the sky. They looked the same as they did before the outbreak and they always made josh think when he needed to

Ghost thought that Carrick made a great point. "Carrick is right. There's probably an easier solution than just re-tracing our steps. We need to think this over."

Ghost smiled at Grand. He was confident that he could trust her. "I know you can do it, Grand." Ghost then lied next to Grand and hugged her.

Fire Horn gestured for Starburst to come to him, to let the two have some "privacy", then Fire Horn lay down and Starburst snuggled into him.

"We're going to find her you know, when we do, you're not going to be coming with us, you're already in enough danger as it is." Fire Horn said. "Ponyville is a dangerous place now, and with you out of magic, we're going to need to be extra-careful."
"I'll be fine, Daddy, we'll deal with things as they come." Fire Horn was exhausted from today, so the two of them fell straight to sleep, the nightmares stopped haunting him, because he knew that everything was going to be just fine.

Carrick shook his head at Grand's defeat and was a bit surprised that Ghost agreed with him. The detective started to think that Ghost's middle name is "Danger" with the way Ghost's talk. He tipped his hat and sat down, "If Ponyville is that messed up. Then going there would be our last resort." Carrick took out a notepad and started to draw a small of Ponyville, Everfree Forest, and Canterlot. 

 

"See, the front entrance to the forest would be here." Carrick drew an arrow from Ponyville to the forest. "However, maybe going to the front door is a bad idea. You have to consider that Ponyville is a small town. There's a lot of acres that are just plains. So if we take that into consideration." Carrick took the pencil and drew an arrow into the back of the Forest. "We take the backdoor, instead." 

 

"Of course, that's just one option."

Josh had enough of thinking and decided to get off of the roof he went down into the coach with ghost carrick and thunder "have we made a plan of action yet or are we still debating what to do?" He sat himself down near the ponies and awaited a response

Carrick looked at this new pony in front of him. "Damned if you do, damned if you don't." Carrick tapped his chin. "Well, we could just try some type of aerial search instead. If somepony knows where exactly the hut is. We could use that and find it then." 

 

Carrick looked at this new pony, "Oh, I'm sorry. I haven't introduce myself. I am Carrick Murphy, detective." Carrick gives his hoof to shake.

Josh stared at the medical equipment and beamed "thunder that is amazing it is like Christmas" He then turned to carrick "why dont we send a group of three ponies two who can fly and ghost they fly in get the potion and get out if any troubles happen on the train they can move away and the group who can fly can well fly and get back easliy?"

Ghost was surprised at all of the supplies that Thunder had collected. It could last them weeks. Hell, maybe even months. He searched through it for water. it seemed as if endless bottles were in that one pile. "Dear Luna, Thunder! Where did you get all of this stuff??"

Ghost turned to Josh. "Sounds like a stretch. Even if I fly by myself, moving about as that dust cloud takes a lot out of me. I don't want to end up collapsing in the desert heat."

"Fillydelphia was put under quarantine right after the outbreak. The entire city was pretty much infected after a week. All their supplies left unused. I just snuck around the city grabbing as many supplies as i could find without getting seen by the trotters. No big deal." said Thunder Roller with a grin.

Ghost smiled. He was happy Josh was trying to contribute. The fellow always seemed shy to him. "I think I'm gonna hit the old sack, too. We'll plan more at first light." Ghost lied next to Grand and fell asleep beside her. He didn't know why, but Grand seemed to have a special place in Ghost's heart. He then fell into slumber beside her.

Everyone else was going to bed so she decided she would too. She went over to a corner of the car and curled up in a ball. But she couldn't get to sleep she kept thinking about her parents and how they had died because she had left them. And finally she just broke down and started to sob uncontrollably in the corner of the car.

Fire Horn did have a dream though, or was it a dream? He couldn't be sure.

"Hello, is anypony here?" Fire Horn shouted, again he was in a blank room.

"I'm here." came a voice, a familiar voice. A voice which always comforted him.

"Missy, is that you?" Fire Horn asked. A figure stepped out of the shadows, a blue alicorn with yellow and pink hair, it was her, 

"Yes, my love, it's me, i'm sleeping in Canterlot right now." Missy said. Fire Horn's brain broke a little.

"Wait, you're what? I don't know that, this is a dream. Right?" Fire Horn asked.

"No, it's me, really, i'm most certainly alive." Missy said.

Grand blushed, unsure how to react. She couldn't remember the last time she was hugged. She was so shocked she didnt realize what was going until ghost had already fallen asleep. Grand smiled happily and fell asleep as well, vowing to herselfcshecwoukd perform the spell tomorrow
