Pondah, caught un-aware, hit the floor with a thud. He quickly got back to his hooves and began to panic. "Oh no, first day and I've been attacked. I'm not going to survive here. Got to get out, got to go, got to live." ​Pondah said in his panic. He left the café and began to gallop down the streets as fast as he could (which, admittedly, isn't particularly quick). He found a bench and hid underneath it.

 

'I'll wait here and then make a break when it seems safe.' he thought.

She took one of his hooves in her own. While she was bothered by the strange behavior, she understood it. "Hey, it's alright, I get them too...it could be from anything. Anything that ever happened to you, you can figure it out, I'm sure." She said, concern in her voice.

 

 

He sighed and, calm & collected, smiled. He looked at the waiter and lost the smile. M-Mom...? He shook his head of such thoughts and said "Um...I would love for some..." Lightning forgot what was for sale and sighed. "Um...is there any..." he looked back at the table, sighing. He looked back and said "Could I please have a menu?"

Sunny was caught off-guard when the stallion ran. Feeling immensely guilty, she quickly levitated her belongings into her saddlebag and galloped after him. She saw him duck under a bench and her ears drooped. She stopped near the bench.

"U-um," she murmured. "I'm s-sorry, i didn't mean to attack you o-or anything, i-i tripped... S-sorry if I scared you..."

Defeated, the bright yellow unicorn made her way back to the cafe and waited for the waiter. 

Stupid, stupid, stupid... First day and you've not only embarrassed yourself in front of an entire cafe, you've also scared some stallion. Celestia would be frowning if she were seeing this... Stupid Sunny Dew...

'Oh... she wasn't attacking me... Perhaps I should gave that café another chance'

 

Pondah slowly slithered out from beneath the bench bunker and made a slow path towards the café. After a moment to relaz slightly, he re-entered the café. He stood, quivering and anxious, and waited for a waiter... again.

Defeated, the bright yellow unicorn made her way back to the cafe and waited for the waiter.

 

 

While waiting for the menus, and for the stallion in front of her to calm down a bit more, something bright appeared in the corner of Candy's eye. Her eyes shifted, and her jaw dropped when she saw the bright yellow, Blue-maned unicorn. "Wah-hahahow, she's pretty." It took her a moment to let any dirty thoughts pass, and for her to close her mouth and stop staring. She blushed, hoping no one caught her staring. She turned back to the stallion next to their table.

Pink Mist once again left her home in Canterlot to venture across Equestria in search of adventure! Her next stop, the city of Baltimare. A friend had told her about it and said it was a calm nice city to spend a vacation in. 

Her carriage pulled up next to a café. Well I sure could use some breakfast right about now. 

Pink trotted in and sat at a booth, she hoped a waiter would attend her quickly because she tended to get imapstient when hungry.

Lightning blushed as she looked at him. "U-um...so..." he looked outside and saw his yellow cloud, just waiting to be slept on. Come to think of it, he was still tired. He shook his head as he looked back towards Candy. "Um...you do..." he sighed as he brought his hoof to his head. "Do you...-sigh- do you want anything specifically, Candy?"

Sunny Dew noticed the stallion re-enter the cafe, but hid behind her mane and averted her eyes, blushing again. She caught some mare staring at her out of the corner of her eye and decided to just stare at her hooves until the waiter came. As it turned out, she ended up at the booth next to the mare's. At least she had stopped looking at her and was focusing on the stallion with her.

((wouldn't mind interacting with somepony, but Sunny is too embarrassed to strike up a conversation, so it's up to somepony else.))

"Um...you do..." he sighed as he brought his hoof to his head. "Do you...-sigh- do you want anything specifically, Candy?"

 

 

"What do you mean by that?" She said sort of passively, while the mare she was just staring at took the seat behind her. She looked down and to the side. Then quickly, she looked back, and noticed the mare alone.

"Would..." She still had a slightly embarrassed blush at the sight of the attractive, radiant mare. She realized how long she paused, and felt dumb. "Would you like to sit with us, and not alone?" She rushed out the sentence.

Pondah gave a sigh of relief when the unicorn was moved to her seat. He followed the next waiter who took him to a seat in the far corner of the café, away from anypony.

 

'Let's see, things for free... ooh! Free salad! With purchase of any main. Damn. Wahay, here we are! Tap water. Let's see... 1 bit. Balls.'

Pondah got up from his table with a sad expression. He sluggishly moved out through the café, giving the yellow unicorn one last sorrowful look before leaving.

 

He returned  to his 'bench bunker' and placed his hooves on his ears.

 

'At least here I can block out reality slightly.'

Pink Mist noticed a bright yellow unicorn sit in a booth near her. She looked a little scared and by the looks of it a shy pony so she decided to start a conversation.

Uh hi there! Lovely café huh? My name's Pink Mist. I just came here. Do you mind telling me your name?

"Who..." Lightning sighed as he patiently waited for the waiter to come and give him the menu. As he waited, he started to drift away from the real world and into the "clouds"...

 

W...where am I...

Lightning.

M-mom?!

Yes. I am your mother. Listen carefully.

A-anything you want, mum..

 

He opened his eyes and started breathing heavily. "W-where...." He sighed. "Never mind..."

Bubble grinned to herself as she stepped off the train and started to trot into town: her sister had given her tickets to visit for a while and her friend had told her that it was a nice place to stay and full of friendly ponies: that was all that she needed!

 

Looking in every direction, trying to take in all the sights at once, she set off blindly to try and find the hotel that she only had very vague directions for. She didn't mind, getting lost wasn't anything new to her and she enjoyed seeing where she ended up.

 

"This is going to be great!" She practically squeaked to herself.

Sunny shrank in her seat as the pony left without eating, giving her a sorrowful look. She started to get up, but the mare that had been staring at her spoke to her.

"Um... N-no, that's okay, you seem to be h-having a nice conversation with this stallion here, i-i wouldn't want to be in the way!" she stuttered nervously, trying to act nonchalant. Suddenly, a pink mare started to talk to her, giving her an out. She mouthed "One second, please" to the pony.

"S-see, n-now I'm n-not alone... Th-thanks for offering, though!" she added, still nervous and trying to act friendly.

Sunny Dew turned to the pink pony. 

"Uh, uh, I guess so. Umm... I'm Sunny Dew. I-I just got here today too." She stammered in response.

Come on Sunny, you do want friends, don't you? At least stop stammering!

Pink Mist looked outside the windows of the café to look at the city of Baltimare. Wow this sure is a nice city huh? Pink Mist wasn't sure how long she would stay, it normally delended on how much she liked the city and if she made plenty of friends here.

Kaz was now incredibly late work as the whole scene involving DJ BassClef made him completely forget to actually order anything! Over 2 hours late for work, he was incredibly anxious as to what fate he would be met with when he finally arrived at the Goldman Trots office building.

Although, nothing could ever ruin this day for Kaz after what just happened! He quickly fired down the street outside of the cafe as fast as his four hooves would carry him and maybe, just maybe no one would notice he was THIS late.

Bubble was lost. It hadn't taken long at all. Not the good kind of lost either, she couldn't remember the way back to the train station to start over. It didn't really concern her: she was too interested in her new surroundings to really worry.

 

She started to look for someone who might be able to point her in the right direction before noticing something new to catch her limited attention span: a pony laying under a bench.

 

"What are you doing?" She asked happily as she flicked an ear in curiosity and confusion. "I think those work better if you sit on top of them, not underneath."

Even through his hooves, Pondah could hear he was being addressed. Upon hearing the pony speak to him, Pondah jumped, causing his head to hit the bench with a dull thud.

 

"Ow..." ​he moaned. Seeing as he'd been found, Pondah slid out from under the bench. With an embarrassed look, he replied, "I had reason to be under their, but it's a long story."

"Uhm, okay. So it's not a secret way to sit then?"

 

Honestly, she would have preferred to hear that it was. Even if he had looked a little odd.

 

"I'm Bubble! Oh! Do you know the way to... Uhm...." She pulled out a piece of paper with something scrawled across it. Squinting at it for a moment she dropped it back into her saddlebag. "A hotel? Or anything like that really."

 

The fact that she had no idea where she was going might have had something to do with her getting lost.

Pink was glad she had been able to start a conversation with the shy unicorn.

Well I'm an adventurer traveler kind of girl. I've traveled all over Equestria in recent years. A friend told me about Baltimare so I came to check it out. From the looks of it, I may stay here a while.
