Caras made himself slightly viable to Chivalry only as he said the last sentence. This time he was hoping he would agree, other wise the future would be too easy.

Chivalry looked as if he were deep in thought. He paused for a moment thinking about how he will answer Caras. Chivalry sighs and looks back at the others. He thought about how tired they all must be, how much they just want to finish this. Sometimes Chivalry's selflessness can get the best of him,

 

Chivalry's expression turns from a deep in thought look to a squinted and untrusted look. He has to agree, he has to. For this all to stop. He has to agree with Caras's offer, if not then his friends will surely perish. It is in his nature to protect those in need, he IS Chivalry, his Cutie Mark means Chivalry. Accepting this offer would be Chivalry!

Chivalry looks up and replies in his mind to Caras. '...Fine, Caras, I accept your offer. But before you give me the information, tell me. What is this cost you speak of? I only ask because, i just want to know if your going to hurt my friends rather than me.' Chivalry's breaths become rigid as he looks over towards his friends..

Tempest sighed, as he watched the others. He was mentally exhausted from the previous fight. The cyan pegesus then shook his head to clear his thoughts, and began to meditate.

 

Dark glanced at Tenpest, and simply sat next to him. She didn't know what to say.

"Me telling you the cost was not part of the agreement and the deal has been made with the dead. You cannot back out of the deal, or you shall join the Celestia and Luna. Not my rules, its the rules of the deals with the dead. No for the information. Around the neck of my body, their is a key. This key goes to the a hidden door in Canterlot. Go to the throne room at the midnight hour, alone, and they key will open the door, inside the door is a chest. This will tell you how to identify the different magic's in any pony, and if you lack the magic in your group I can grant one magic. I hope you remember all of this, because I will not repeat this. Good luck. You need it."

 

Caras broke his connection with Chivalry and sent one more shiver down his spine.

 

 

Caras saw Tempest meditation and that he was mentally exhausted from the battle. He thought of idea and decided it was worth a try. With his connection to Dark magic he got into Tempest mind with out being noticed and sent thoughts clocking them so they looked like Tempests own thoughts. Images where put into Tempest mind of what seemed to be the future and they made his friends, even Dark look like they would take advantage of Equestria being weak and broken form Caras and take control in the form of a Tyrent army.

"Stop them, save Equestria."

Caras wispered in to Tempest mind, making his voice sound like Xena.

"Hurry, no time."

Chivalry felt the shiver run through him. He hated this feeling, he also hated the fact that he had no choice but to agree to the offer. Chivalry became sad, he felt as if though in some way, he had just betrayed his friends. However, now because of this agreement, he knows what to do to stop the fighting, the torture, the killing.

Chivalry took a deep breath and snuck over to Caras's corpse hoping that nopony would notice him. Or did he, did he truly want nopony to notice him? Chivalry felt dirty at the thought and just decided to focused on his current mission. He scanned Caras's body closely and noticed something glimmer on his chest. Chivalry looked around before snapping the string around Caras's neck and taking the key, hiding it in his swords holster.

He then attempted to sneak away from the group.

Tempest was slightly surprised by this, and woke up, panting. He noticed Dark sleeping next to him."I can't believe she would do this." He thought. The cyan pegesus then shook his head to clear his thoughts. "I can't let them do this." Tempest then noticed Chivalry leaving, and snuck out a different way. "One by one, they will all fall." He whispered in a dark tone.

Sole sighed and turned to discord "hey... Old man... What did caras mean by the six different magic thing?" He asked quietly, causing discord to sigh tiredly "well... Long ago, back when I was the ruler of equestria; me and a group of beings were known as the strongest beings alive. We each could manipulate different forms of magic, and I was of course the king of chaos magic. Celestia used to be the king of god magic." He explained "we were feared throughout the land. That is, until celestia and Luna overthrew me with the elements of harmony." He finished, leaving sole even more confused then before.

Tempest trotted around the forest for a few minutes, before deciding to simply head towards Canterlot. He could take care of Chivalry there, and the others would only assume it was somehow Caras's fault. He didn't even notice strange black lines beginning to spread over his fur.

 

Dark woke up, and noticed that Tempest was missing. She then glanced at Sole. "Where did Tempest go?" She asked.

Chivalry encased himself in a very lightweight bubble once he was far enough from the group. He looked back and frowned, but then shook his head. 'This is for the good of everypony. The good of my friends, no one shall be hurt anymore.' he thought to himself as he departed towards the Canterlot castle in his floating bubble.

 

As he was flying, thoughts raced through his mind. What would they all think of him for not telling them. But alas, it was part of the deal, surely if he had told anypony, he would be putting them in severe danger. That's the last thing he wanted.

just as sole was about to ask discord another question about magic, he heard what dark said. "Tempest? He's right over... Ah crap, I was too preoccupied with my questioning to notice him leaving. Where's that bastard think he's going?" He said in anoyance. He knew tempest could take care of himself, but he didn't like tempest's random departure. It was suspicious. But before he could follow, discord stopped him. "Forget that for the moment, I need to show you something." He said seriously, before suddenly teleporting them both away.

After a few hours of trotting in the shadows, Tempest entered the main gates of Canterlot. "Finding Chivalry shouldn't be to hard." He thought. The cyan pegesus had noticed the bubble said pony was using, and how it wa drifting towards Cabterlot. "If he isn't here, then I can always head back to the others." He thought, before disappering into the shadows.

Caras followed Chivalry back to Canterlot castle and it now very close to midnight. Caras went ahead of Chivalry to arrive at the Castle Throne room before him to make sure that the room was empty. He had to posses a guard and use him to kill six others.

 

"Think I will hold onto this body for a while. Now to just wait for Chivalry."

 

Caras sat in a corner of the room and waited for Chivalry to arrive.

"Well, you took your sweet time getting here. And just in time to, you got five minutes before the key opens the door. So I will just get out of your way. But first I have dispose of this body."

 

Caras pulled out the sword out of its holster and stabbed himself through the heart. Before the sword hit, he left the body as to avoid the pain but the guard regained awarness just as the sword pierced his heart. He dropped to the ground in agonizing pain and looked to Chivalry begging for help, before bleeding to death.

 

(Just to spite Chivalry, I had to do that. Also I request that in your next post Chivalry that the door opens, so we can carry on moving.)

Tempest appeared behind Chivalry, and slowly drew his swords. "I won't let Equestria be taken over by you, or the others." He thought. "It's a shame, though. I actually had a slight hope that Minath could be a good ruler."

 

Dark sighed, and walked out of the ruins. She then flew inti the air, and began to look for Tempest.

Sole and discord were transported to an empty field with nothing but mountains and trees around them. "What the... Where are we?" Sole asked in confusion, but discord just waved it off "it's a small pocked dimension I created to practice my magic in, but that's not the point. Here we can't be disturbed, and the best part? Time is slowed here. That means we've got all the time in the world." He explained with a mischievous grin, making sole even more confused. "All the time to do what? Why did you bring us here?" He asked suspiciously, as discord snickered "I'm going to finish your training of course! Just when you thought you learned everything, but you know so little." He said jokingly, before creating a condensed ball of chaos magic in his paw "you tricky bastard... You told me you taught me everything you knew!" He complained, as discord laughed trollishly "nope, I lied. I only taught you the basics, less then HALF to be exact." He said, making sole smirk "you... You troll." He said with a smirk, as discord shrugged "I try." He said simply, before throwing the ball of magic at sole.

Chivalry heard a slight noise behind him, the sound of blades unsheathing. Chivalry quickly drew the ancient blade with his magic, and jumped forward, he then turned around to see Tempest. Chivalry's expression turned surprised, why was Tempest here? Did he find out about the key?

"Tempest, why are you here, unsheathing your blades at me?" Chivalry stated to Tempest.

Tempest glared at Chivalry, but didn't even move. "I know what you and the others are planning." He said, his anger beginning to rise. "I had a vision of the future where you and the others take over, while I lay dead from some battle with Caras, or all of you! I'm betting on the latter, though. I won't let that happen, though." The lines on Tempest's body then began to glow, and the cyan pegesus lunged at Chivalry.

Caras watched from the side as the cyan pegasus tried to kill Chivalry. As entertaining as it is was, it had to stop, Tempest had to go, now. Caras managed to concentrate his magic enough to move a sword in the area, and threw it at Tempest which stabbed him directly in the side. As the blade hit, Caras used one last burst of magic to Teleport Tempest to the edge of the city.

 

"Chivalry, the key, the door is about to open, we have no time left, hurry."

 

(Sorry Kyurem, I had to get you away from the castle. You can get your own back later.)

Tempest was surprised about the sword, and being teleported out of Canterlot. He then grit his teeth in pain, and removed the sword, before falling to the ground, unconscious..

 

Dark noticed Tempest and landed next to him. "What has happened to you?" She thought, before placing a paw on Tempest's body. To the dragoness's surprise, her hand began to glow, Tempest's body began to heal, and the lines on him began to recede. "This is interesting"

 

Tempest groaned, as he began to regain consciousness. He noticed Dark, and sighed. He didn't feel the need to kill her, or the others, for some odd reason. "Thank you, and I'm so sorry." He said.

 

Xena sighed and shook his head. "Tempest, I don't think that vision was one of your own thoughts. It must've been implanted by someone with dark magic." He said.

 

The cyan pegesus grit his teeth in anger at what Xena said. "Caras." He muttered, before glancing at Dark. "We should get back to the others." He said, before flying towards the everfree forest.

 

Dark sighed, and wondered what power she had used earlier. "I guess I'll find out later." She thought, before following Tempest.

Chivalry was stunned when Tempest lunged at him, he prepared to defenc. However Caras had already acted upon Tempest's attack. Caras saved Chivalry. Even though, considering the current circumstances, Chivalry found that a bit ironic. He did not however gather up the courage to smile. As soon as his thought was finished, Chivalry noticed something shining behind the dead guard.

 

A keyhole could be seen. "That must be it" Chivalry said to himself as he walked towards it. He grabs the key out of his sword holster and lunges it into the keyhole using his magic. Slowly turning the key, he unlocked the keyhole. The key suddenly disipated into a million small pieces. A small square formed around the keyhole, then opens. Inside a small chest could be seen. Chivalry picked up the chest with his magic and opened it, finding a small scroll within it.

Chivalry held up the scroll with his magic and showed to to caras. "Is this it?"

"Yes, that is the sroll you need. Now then you must gather up the others, all six magics must be present for the spell to work, and if I am correct, we have all but one."

 

Caras wondered for some time about who he knows that could hold the dark magic that is still missing from the group. Then he remembered one we had vanished from the group some time ago.

At that moment, a cloaked figure, followed by a small group of rough looking stallions, burst into the room with they're swords trained on Chivalry and Caras, the cloaked figure then trotted forward and began to speak in a very familiar voice. "Alright fillies, your work is done here, thanks for unlocking that scroll for us, but I'm afraid your gonna have to hoof it over now, before things get messy..." said the mysterious stallion, igniting his hoof in a strange, shadowy flame, giving off a very ominous aura.

Tempest felt a strange aura, and looked back at Canterlot. "Something isn't right." He thought, before heading back. The cyan pegesus then broke through a window, and landed. The cyan pegesus then noticed the second group of ponies, and was surrounded by his aura. "I suggest you leave, right now." He said, as he shifted into his demon mode.

 

Xena watched as Tempest's body changed, and felt a massive pain in his head. He then saw a vision where Tempest was taken over by his own power, defeated Caras, and went into a isolated state. "This is puzzling. I doubt that'll actually happen, though." He thought, returning to the present.

 

Dark landed beside Tempest, and looked at the new ponies.

Chivalry looked back at the group, then confusion struck his face. "Hey, I know you, you were in our group a while ago, but then disappeared suddenly" Chivalry held the scroll tight with his magic when Crimson showed his magic. "Hey what do you think your-" Suddenly Tempest came crashing through the window before Chivalry could finish his sentence.

 

Chivalry quickly turned toward Tempest. "Tempest, what the hoof are you doing here? are you here to finish our battle or something? because if you are, i'm kind of busy right now!" Chivalry yelled. He then saw Tempest's body surround itself with aura. But his sight wasn't aimed at Chivalry, it was aimed at Crimson.

 

'Maybe I can somehow sneak out while Tempest distracts 'whats his name'' Chivalry thinks to himself.
