Dog Ears continued walking at an even pace so that Blazing could keep up with him and Charcoal wouldn't fall off of them. They made it to the hotel and walked inside. Dog Ears went to the front desk and got a room for himself, and another room for Charcoal. Dog Ears shifted Charcoal so that she was only on his back and brought her to her room. He dropped her onto a bed and sat down in a chair. "Phew, glad that's over. I'll admit I may have almost panicked. If your fine I'll head over to my room and leave you to rest." Dog Ears' tone was once again light and soothing. It was the tone of voice he usually had, even when talking to other ponies.

"Hey, guys, I feel bad for not doing anything.... Can I help?" Esme walked behind them, concerned look on her face. As queasy as she was about sick ponies, she always felt that she needed to do something to help Eldrich. Hand her medicine, get the patient a cup of water, things like that.

"Speaking of rooms, I should probably get a room for myself..." Blazing said, forgetting all about that. "And besides, I can't really help anymore than I have, so... Yeah." He couldn't think of what else to say, so he had to look like an idiot. After that he left as quickly as possible, trying not to look like too much of an idiot. He went and got a room for himself, then walked in and finally collapsed for the second time since coming here. "Finally I can sleep without any interruptions..." He said to himself.

Charcoal seemed content, so Dog Ears got up and went to his room. It was fairly spacious, and looked similar to Charcoal's room. He nodded in satisfaction and went back down to the lobby. "Alright so now that that's all over, what do you wanna do? Unless I'm intruding. I did just meet you after all." Dog Ears smiled sheepishly.

Esme smiled. "Well, I'm technically not off work. I have to plan the weather for the next few weeks, still. But it'll only take me a little bit. If you wanna help me, we could do it... Together." She blushed a little at the word 'together', and looked at Dog Ears. "I-I mean, all I have to do is write a letter to the weather corporation planning what's goin' on." She leaned in to whisper in his ear. "Don't tell anypony, but I planned sunny, perfect weather for this part of Equestria allllll vacation."

Dog Ears blushed a little at her words. "U-Um sure! Yea I'll uh.. help you if you want." Dog Ears smiled nervously. He didn't do very well with mares. The only reason he had been able to carry Charcoal without feeling awkward was because it was the heat of the moment. On any other occasion he would have been blushing profusely.

After sleeping a while Charcoal finaly wakes up.

"Oh, ow, my head. Where am I? What happened? Lets see... I crashed on the beach and fell unconsious, but then what?" After thinking for a few minutes she finaly gives up and desides to go and see if she can find someone who knows. "Well I need some fresh air anyway."

Blazing, after a bit of sleep, ended up rolling out of bed, literally. He got up slowly. "Ow..." He said to himself. After that, he decided to just go outside or something. "Might as well, I have nothing better to do..." He said, walking out of the room he was in. He then started heading towards the exit, not paying attention to anything around him.

While walking around Charcoal desides to learn her suroundings since she is out.

"Wow, this place is huge, which is weird since I haven't seen anypony yet." After walking down an insainly long hallway she turns a corner and... *SLAM* She runs into some unicorn stranger and loses her glasses. "Hey, where are my glasses, oh I'm practically blind without them." She begins feeling around but with no luck.

While walking around Charcoal desides to learn her suroundings since she is out.

"Wow, this place is huge, which is weird since I haven't seen anypony yet." After walking down an insainly long hallway she turns a corner and... *SLAM* She runs into some unicorn stranger and loses her glasses. "Hey, where are my glasses, oh I'm practically blind without them." She begins feeling around but with no luck. 

Blazing picked up the mare's glasses and gave them to her. "Here they are." He said simply. Then he recognized her, she was the mare they helped earlier. He was about to say something about it, but he didn't since he would feel bad knowing he didn't help out that much. I really should say something though... Even though I didn't help that much, I was able to help her a little bit... He thought.

"Oh thank luna." She takes her glasses and puts them back on. Finally able to see she reconizes the stallion from before. "Hey, I remember you, you were one of the ponies that helped me after I crashed on the beach. Say could you tell me where I am exactly? I can't seem to remember much after my crash earlier.

"Um... Some sort of hotel I think..." Blazing said. "I don't really know for sure... I have difficulty thinking straight when I'm nervous." He added. You idiot! Why would you say that?! His mind screamed at him. He had just made one of the biggest mistakes since getting here, and to make it worse, it was in front of a mare. Well this couldn't get any worse could it? He wondered.

Esme chuckled and headed to the counter. "Excuse me, I'd like a room?" The reception pony shook her head. "Sorry, darlin', we don't have no rooms no more." Esme looked over at Dog Ears. "Well, uh, do you mind if I stay in your room tonight? I-I mean, I have to stay somewhere. I-I'm good at sleeping on the floor. Eldrich pushes me off the bed all the time."

Dog Ears blushed even more. "I uh..." His voice cracked and he cleared his throat. "Um... sure... But you can sleep on the bed. I saw a couch when I took Charcoal to her room. I could just uh... sleep on the couch... I don't mind I promise. A lot of my animals kick me off my bed too... heh." It was true, and Nestle did it more than any of the other animals. But Dog ears didn't mind, and he wouldn't say no to a pony in need.

"Yay, thank you!" Esme impulsively hugged dog ears and noticed how soft his coat was. He didn't smell half bad, either. She decided to sit there for just a bit longer than she normally would, after all, it wasn't often she would find a pony as soft and good-smelling as he was. "Well, uh," she said, pulling away, blush showing heavily on her cheeks, "I'm kind of tired. You wanna go to bed?"

Dog Ears stood very stiff when Esme hugged him. "I, uh... yea no problem." His voice cracked again. He cocked his head when she asked if they should sleep. "I um... it's not really that late... And I kind of slept on the whole boat ride here since I hadn't slept in like two days..."

"Oh, well, uh, the sun's starting to set. You wanna walk along the beach?" Esme smiled at Dog Ears, still thinking of how soft his coat was. Blush still remained on her cheeks. She reached for his hoof, but just as she took it, a spider landed right in her mane. She screamed, ruining the moment and slamming down her hoof upon his hard. She shook the arachnid out of her hair, and her face flushed. "S-sorry..."

Blazing went into a complete panic. He hadn't expected something like this already. He was at least getting better at hiding it, although it was still pretty obvious. Oh Celestia... This is awkward to say the least... He thought. He liked Charcoal, but that just managed to make him even more nervous. As nervous as he was, he still had to try to hide it for now. From another room she calls back to the stallion. "Ok I'm ready, so I sure hope your ready." From where she was Charcoal turns off all the lights in the room and turns on some slow relaxing music. She then gets some small candles and set them all around the room, lighting them as she goes. With the light of the candles it it shown that Charcoal is wearing a white bath robe. "Alright, you ready? If so lay on your stomach."

Dog Ears jumped backwards at the sight of the spider. He had let out a little yelp and his ears flopped in front of his face. He made his ears perk back up just as Esme crushed the spider. "You don't need to say sorry... I'm arachnophobic, so uh... thanks I guess." He smiled sheepishly and began to walk towards the exit of the hotel. He assumed Esme would follow. He was actually glad the spider had fell on Esme, despite his fear of them. He hadn't wanted to grab Esme's hand. He wasn't sure if he liked her yet.
