Esme awoke to the sound of running water. Sitting up strait, she looked around. She was in the room's only bed. Oh, buck, why am I in Grin's bed? Nothing happened last night, did it?. The blue pegasus's face turned slightly to worry, and she hopped to the ground to investigate the noise the water had made. When she had figured out it was coming from the bathroom, Esme opened the door and looked around. Still not quite in her ideal state of mind, she slowly opened the shower door... And abruptly closed it. Dog Ears was still sitting there. Ponies are generally naked most of the time, but still, something about seeing him in the shower reeked of something illegal. Or at least immoral.

Dog Ears' head shot up at the sound of the shower door slamming. He stopped the water and shook his head while he steeped out og the shower. His short mane was almost completely covering his face due to it being wet. "Oh hey Esme. I woke up a little while ago and figured I probably don't smell very good. Well maybe I don't smell good right now either. Do I smell like wet dog?" He sniffed his shoulder and grinned. "Well I guess not." He grabbed a towel and sat on the floor while he tried to dry his mane. After he did so, he put the towel around his neck and looked at Esme, smiling. "Um... Do you wanna get out of the bathroom? As much as I'd like to alk to you I think the kitchen would be a better place. I thinkin eggs. Do you like eggs? Maybe we should just go find somewhere to eat. Sorry I'll let you talk," he said with a chuckle.

It's funny, when my brother was younger he told me he would always lick the suryp off the plate when he would finish."

"Alright then." After placing their order Charcoal just lets her thoughts wander while she waits for her food. *sigh*  I can't figure out what this feeling is. I was fine when I woke up this morning, but after I started walking with Blazing... could it be that I, like him?

Blazing didn't say anything, his mind at war with itself. Part of him kept telling him to just tell her, but the other part was saying that it would be awkward and that she would never like him back... All he could do was just sit there silently and wait for her to say something.

Charcoal was so distracted by her thoughts that she didn't even notice that her food had arived.

Waiter: AHEM!

"Wah?! Um yes may I help you?"

Waiter: Your food has arived ma'am.

"Oh, um thank you." The waiter sets down their food and walks off. Charcoal then turns to Blazing. "So.. I guess our foods here."

Esme sat speechless. He was taking this very well. Meanwhile, her head was full of mixed emotions, should she leave the bathroom like he asked or stay? It's not like it was weird to see a pony naked. They were all naked, except for a select few who choose to be formal. Her face was flushed almost completely red, and her wings were up strait. Her legs were slightly shaking as she searched for something to say. "Uh... Um, I-I-I like e-eggs..." Seriously? You could've said anything but instead you stated your opinion on breakfast? Stupid, stupid Esme.

Dog Ears nodded and smiled while he left the bathroom. "Alright. Well I can't actually make eggs very well. I guess we can go find some place to eat then. Um... are you okay?" he called back after remembering she hadn't looked very good. Did seeing him in the shower... Dog Ears facehoofed. Oh my Luna she saw me in the shower! That's why she was acting all weird. Jeez how stupid can I be? "Uh... never mind."

Blazing had no idea what to say next. He still couldn't believe what had just happened. He didn't want to seem strange, but he also didn't know what he was supposed to say at that point. I never actually prepared for this... What should I say now? He wondered.
