"Green features and high temperature are also the symptoms of a steamed broccoli..." He looked at Lume "You look green, but I'm not sure about the fever... Sorry! Did you say something? I was busy reading"

 

Lume laughed - as much as her condition allowed - when she heard the pony mentioning steamed broccoli. "I'm pretty sure I'm not a vegetable, doc... Thanks for trying though. Keep on searching on your little cookbook there." She took a quick look on the book's cover and saw the title How to Become A Doctor, from the For Dummies series. She grew a half-smile on her face, but didn't say anything. Instead, she returned to stare at the ocean. Having not been heard didn't bothered her as much as feeling seasick, so she had top priorities at the moment. Realizing she was feeling gradually better - since she had already unloaded her whole breakfast into the sea -, she found herself finally bored. She turned once again to the wanna-be doctor pegasus.

 

"I'm Lume, by the way... Lume Greenpark. I assume you're here for the Total Drama Castaways audition?"

Smash went into his cabin, in disgust, to take a nap. He set is guitar down and rustled up in the covers. He left the world of reality to enter the world of dreams. (I have to go eat dinner across the street with my family. Stupid 200 charcter rule 171 ggggg)

"your brother? that only makes it weirder, you know." Repsol shot the mare a smile.

as Repsol lost himself in thoughts, he looked back over the railing again, sniffing in the salty sea air.

"you know, i've never been much of a pony for cruises. i can't even believe i payed that many bits for a dull boat ride."

"Its nice to meet you Miss Greenpark. I'm Rock Thatcher" he greeted "I wasn't meant to be a part of this little cruise but my parents signed me on"

 

He rolled his eyes "They say I'm all work and no play, that I need to get out more. Can you believe that?"

After some nice relaxing sunbathing time Pink decided to head over to the railing to gaze out at the ocean. She wondered if she would make new friends on this trip. She thought about all her other friends she had met while traveling. How she missed them terribly.

Minty trotted back to Moonshower, who was now on a lawn chair that she brought. "Well, tough crowd." Moonshower didn't even bother to say a old fashioned "I told you so." She just said, "It's okay. Everypony is a tough crowd."

Lume pulled another sarcastic tone of voice. "Oh goodness, I can't believe that at all! But you look so fun!" She said with a fake surprised expression. Looking around the ponies that were gathered around the deck, she wondered if this whole cruise and the TV show would be worth her while. Originally, she hadn't any plans about making friends or anything in those lines. But she could still try and distract herself with the competition - if there would be any.

 

"I'm gonna go grab something to eat..." Lume told Rock, and started making her way inside the boat. Before entering the kitchen, however, she noticed another pony gazing at the sea. She swiftly swayed over to the pink pony and whispered:

"You shouldn't stare at it for too long... It's hypnotic... You might vomit." She said with a sly grin, and made her way into the kitchen afterwards.

Punk Beat simply giggled, "Yeahhh.... I know." She then began to shift through her song playlist on her Ipod until she found a calm, soothing piano lullaby. One she had treasured since she was just a little filly. "Eh, I actually quite enjoy the relaxation. Besides, I make new friends." She smiled.

Rock took pride in Lume's comment, oblivious to the sarcasm.

He got so caught up with his ego that didn't notice the mare leaving.

 

"Huh? Oh man" he sighed "I keep doing this"

 

He decided to sit back at his table and read a new book; The pop-up manual for curing all known stomach problems.

"yeah, guess it is pretty relaxing." he looked over the ship once.

it was a rather beautifull sight. there where multiple decks with numerous things to do. there was a swimming pool, lot's of space to just sit and relax, and on the far side there was even something that looked like a restaurant.

"i just don't know what to do when i'm stuck to staying on a boat all the time."

Repsol watched as the mare's expression went from confused to cheerfull in a matter of seconds.

he looked at the direction the mare was looking in, and spotted the dining room.

"you mind if i join? i'm pretty hungry anyway." 

he sheepishly trew her a smile

"and it's not like i got anything else to do."

Pink turned around to acknowledge the pony who had whispered to her. She found no one. "Strange, oh well." She turned back to gazing at the gentle ocean waves, so calm it looked like nothing could go wrong.

Minty trotted over to Pink Mist. "Hey! You seem nice!" Minty said. "My first actual friend on this cruise! I'm making progress! Progress!" Minty stood next to Pink Mist. "Did you make any friends on this.. well, cruise, well, not really a cruise, but, well, this boat since you were here?"

The first pony who started an actual conversation with her, considering the last one slipped away out of sight. Pink wondered what else she could do on this cruise, maybe they had some fun group activities on the main deck planned for later on.

"I'm Minty! I was hoping I can make some friends myself, but everypony kept trotting away. It's kind of weird. But everypony is so caught up in their couples that they can't really talk to us, I guess. I'm happy that you're my first friend on this boat! Hey, where are we going anyway?"

I can imagine why. SHE'S ON A CRUISE!!

 

I have no idea where we're going. I just took the opportunity to relax as fast as I could. I don't really care where we're going, I just want to get away from home. But I'm glad you wanted to make friends too. 

 

 

But everypony is so caught up in their couples that they can't really talk to us, I guess.

 

Yeah I hate it when that happens. They get all googly eyed.

"I know! Like, why do they do that? I think we're the only ponies who aren't in love here!" Minty lied. She actually liked somepony, but she didn't want to mention who. Not yet. "I hope we're going someplace sunny!" Minty flew up, trying to get a good view. She soon got left behind by the boat, but frantically flew back. "I almost got lost from you guys!!"

Pink Mist giggled at how her new friend almost got left behind.

Me too, my coat sure could go for a little more sunbathing later on. I hope there's good surf too, I really want to improve on my surfing skills. I've only surfed once, and I epically failed before I actually did it decently.

as Repsol walked towards the dining room, he remembered that before he met the mare, he was actually on his way to his cabin to get something.

"Oh i forgot something. i have to go to my cabin real quick, sorry."

he turned around to trot away.

"well, as i said before, it was very nice to meet you, Punk Beat. i'm sure we'll see eachother again soon."

and with that he left for the cabin.

After eating a few crackers and slices of breads, Lume went back to her room and searched around it, looking for something. Ah, there it is! When she found it.

The earth mare made her way back to the deck, carrying a seemingly heavy backpack. She soon spotted the pegasus sitting by a table. "Hey, uh... Rick, is it?" She asked as she trotted over to Rock, forgetting his name. She stopped beside him. "Your book is awful. Here, try this one." She pulled out an enormous book from her backpack and threw it on the ground, causing a loud bang noise to be heard and slightly shaking the wooden floor beneath her.

 

"The Official Medical Encyclopedia for Non-Magic Users... This is a masterpiece. Around 2,500 pages of all known diseases and cures... You can take a look at it if you want and then, do me a favor, and throw that For Dummies of yours in a fireplace or something."

"Mother Celestia!" He exclaimed "I've always wanted one of these! Of course every time I tried to order one, the mailmare would end up in hospital due to back problems"

 

He flicked through a few pages. Diseases such as Measles, Athlete's hoof and Discord madness were among them.

 

Rock looked at Flume "I'm so grateful for this. I swear from this moment on, that I shall do everything in my power to repay this kindness you have shown!" He took a dramatic pose "And my name is Rock, not Rick"

"Sunbathing? Well, you could go sunbathing right now! There's the sun!" Minty said, looking into the sun.

 

Minty looked up ahead, then saw a small storm collecting up ahead. "STORM!" Minty shouted, trotting into a cabin.

Repsol was in his cabin, fiddling around in one of his suitcases. then suddenly his door slammed open and a green mare with an pink and white mane came rushing in, shouting something like "storm!"

Repsol looked at the mare dumbfounded.

"ehrm... can i help you miss?"

"No time to explain. Find. Shelter. NOW!" Minty shouted, pushing Repsol to the window to show him the storm and the cumulonimbus clouds collecting up ahead. "We need to steer our way away, or or.. find a way to retreat! We need to evacuate!" Minty panicked, having trouble breathing. "Oh, and my name's Minty. But we need to get out of here now!"
