This is a drawing I made of my OC Moonbeam. I worked really hard on it. I'd really appreciate it if you could tell me what you think about the drawing .

Great work, Mel, really cute.

The position is totally awesome, and the expression is adorable, the mane and tail look a bit like she just woke up, a bit messy, but in the best way :3.

The colors are cool, too, I maybe would have picked another color for the eye, but that´s just me.

Good work 10/10, definitely deserves the weekly adorableness award.

It's really good all the colors are the same and maybe some areas you could have used a diffrent shade of blue to show off the diffrent areas but it's still really good. Only thing i would say is for the hair to make the lines more noticeable but other then that excellent work 10/10

Seriously though, I really like her. However, I do think that the eye color should be changed as well. Maybe green, or a darker/lighter shade of her current eye color? Yellow would look nice as well, but a bit eerie. 

 

The color of the top half of her mane is different from the bottom half. Not sure if that was deliberate, though.

She's a poet! The cutie mark is a feather quill pen with a scroll of paper.

No, it's not. If you're referring to the lines of the top of her mane, yes, that was intentional.

It normally is a lot darker, but I was experimenting with a lighter shade. I guess it didn't work out.

Such a nice simple design, but it really works! She is super adorable, the messy mane, the cutie mark, everything is great in my opinion!

So I took everyone's suggestions and tweaked the picture a bit. Hopefully this version is even better. I'll mention everyone who made the suggestions.

I personally think that her hair looks better when outlined. Just my opinion though. And I meant that the top half of her mane is a little darker than the hair at her neck, not the outlines :3
