Doooh, I wish I could be in an art school and just not do it. They're making me take MORE of it because I'm remedial. Since when is algebra going to be useful when all I want to do in my career is make pretty pictures? 

But why haven't you went to an art school then?

Can't go until I get all these basic requirements out of the way. That's some math classes, writing classes, general stuff, etc. ;~; Even if I went to one, they'd make me do it anyway for the first two years.

Well, luckily, my country did a smart move here, so we have a lot of different high school types, one of them being high school of music, where we don't have math at all. So 8 years of math that we got in our primary school is all we get (and basically all we will ever need). That's one of the rare moments when I take my hat off to my country
