It takes the form of any other futuristic movie, where the ideas are limitless. That's part of the fun of it all. We don't have flying cars, antigravity, or consumer fusion reactors, but we do have the TVs that tune multiple channels at the same time, home automation, video calling, and drones (a USA Today camera drone is seen briefly after the attack on the city hall).
