My kitchen is tiny....

I measured it out but none of these are very exact. They're close, but not exact.

Total area of the room is

127 x 86 inches for a total of 10,922 square inches

10,922 in² / 144 (in² per ft²) = 75.85 square feet

That's total space. If you want to take out the space you just have to walk in it's

60 x 104 inches for a total of 6,240 in²

6,240 / 144 = 43.33 square feet

But that stove is so cute :3

Also it's impossible to keep those cabinets closed :okiedokielokie:

Yikes, that is tiny.

It is. It's barely enough for one person, but at least the living room is a fairly decent size. I measured it out at 226 ft². It'd be huge if I didn't have the fireplace, but the fireplace is also really nice to have around on cold days because it's pretty much silent. The window unit has a heater in it too, but that thing is about as loud as a lawn mower. So the fireplace (it's actually just a small gas heater) is a blessing and a curse. I'd have an extra wall to put things against without it but then I would have to use that loud window unit....Compromise, I guess.

That kitchen is actually fairly large compared to the studio apartment I was looking at before I picked this place. Probably twice as large. Like, maybe 20 square feet of floor space in there. It was just a square with a small stove, a dishwasher, and a few cabinets and counters. I wanted the studio because rent was about $150 less, but I liked this place a lot more so I decided it'd be worth ponying up a little extra money to have a nicer place to live. Plus that other place had only roadside parking and that street is fairly busy for a residential street. I don't mind parking roadside where I am now because we get maybe two cars every hour.
