No, Insulin is the hormone the pancreas secretes. It's used to break down sugar in the blood stream. Being a diabetic, my liver does not work, so I have to inject myself with Insulin in order to basically keep myself alive.

I have a lot of family who also are Diabetic and it's awful I'm sorry to hear you have it but I am aware of what Insulin is used for.
