The reason for my blank avatar is I'm kind of not really sure what kind of theme to use here at the moment, so I scrapped my avatar and signature because I wasn't happy with it.

 

I might put a placeholder theme in instead in the meantime though as it does look a little empty without something.

I'll run this theme for the time being, I'd rather use a pony theme but I'll wait until I have one that looks better. I'll keep my username though as it's kind of my username everywhere and it's something that's stuck.

Yeah changing usernames can be confusing as they become the identity your known by online and changing it after a long time also feels like your changing who you are in a way as well.

Eeyup, back in the day it was a case of choosing carefully.

 

Being involved with a MUD in the 90's and being a fan of Red Dwarf, four of us named ourselves after characters from the show.

 

I then discovered the alternative meaning for the surname of the character

Arnold J.
