By the way, how much do you shuffle? I tend to shuffle until my opponent finishes shuffling, but I'm not always satisfied with how much time that gives me, plus doesn't give me a guideline when I mulligan and my opponent doesn't.

I think the worst thing about my new appartment is the internet situation.
Okay I don't have to pay for it, but I only get 15GB / week and they say if you go over your "after the 2nd warning" (so, for the 3rd time) you get excluded :|
As this "provider" is run by students I hope one can just make a deal with them and pay a few € / month and get more traffic

America ain't with the times. Also, only 15 gigs a week? Even on my worst Netflix months, I can stay sub 40 (for the month). Downloading my Steam library is different tho. We do get 250 gigs a month. Never noticed a change on my bill on months I did download my whole library so idk. 

Tell me: what's your bandwidth?

I've never had an apartment provide me with internet. I got basic SD cable in uni though.

Idk, I don't live there yet, I'm moving over the next few weeks.
But honestly, that's 60GB/month
Games these days are easily 60GB... so I'll be over that limit easy.
And well, I could just go to an external provider like telekom (like we have now) where you get unlimited traffic. But that would cost me somewhere between 20 and 50 per month. I definitely have that money, but I'd much rather save it.
and I do not pay because it's university internet, and yes, education is pretty much free over here (I also only pay 70€/semester), other than in the entire english speaking (capitalist) world

Oh I know education in Deutschland is pretty well free. Kinda sucks how expensive it is stateside. I'm $5,000 in debt and I paid another $2,300 out of pocket to go to grad school last year. And I've got 24 credits left to get.

Eh. Between $30 and $60 (guessing that's about the USD equivalent) is about what I'd expect to pay for internet. I just can't believe there's an option for free internet. I certainly never got that. I guess the cost of living in the States is still pretty low though. Still irks me how expensive education is. I don't think it should be free but I do think it shouldn't put people in crippling debt until they're nearly 40. My mom was 36 when she finally paid off her student debt. It's ridiculous.

@The Candlekeeper usually pile shuffle (7 piles) before first game. Split into two piles.

Riffle & riffle again, take off top 1/4 - 1/3 and put to the bottom and then riffle again and offer for cut.

Well I basically also got a student loan, from the state, but afaik you don't have to pay that back fully, I think only 50% or something, I mean I somehow still need to pay rent and food and stuff, but going to uni itself is pretty much free. And yeah internet its free because it is university internet and I got an appartment in the uni dorms.

That also makes my rent only 200€ warm
