I live near the rhine. And the rhine is really warm. But on the other side, I live on a small mountain, so snow is here more often than in Bonn or Cologne.

@Da(wn)s Capschen :3 Yes, that is why we have also so often storms in fall/winter here in middle europe. The water in the ocean is really warm, but the air is cold. And because of these contrasts, we get this heavy storms every year.
