Actually, we have a test exam for IT Sec, and it doesn't even go that much into technical details.

It's a bit like "difference between symmetric and asymmetrical encryption ; pros and cons"
a table with different attack forms (like trojan, xss, sql injection) to fill out with a description and what they try to attack
a server log and find out if there was an attack and if yes, what to do about it
description of a situation and asking what you could improve ("passwords are saved in plain text. What could you improve?")

I mean really it seems more like common sense and a bit of knowledge lol
Yet in the lectures we do the actual implementation of DES, AES, RSA and stuff
