Btw. Rising, a question about how you speak in Hamburg

When you talk with someone about someone else, would you say just the name or the name with an article (just "Rising" or "der Rising")?

 

I am curious, language is so different throughout germany

I have a friend from Schleswig Holstein, and what we call a "Pfannkuchen" they call "Berliner" and what we call a "Eierkuchen" they call "Pfannkuchen"

Language is weird xD

well, here in the Erzgebirge we always use names with articles ^^

And we have funny words (we rarely talk real erzgebirgisch, but everyone knows some words)

Like "das Tablett" becomes "is Hietrochbrattl" (Hintragebrett)

and generally we shorten things, like "Was machst du?" becomes "Was machste?"

and we use fill words... so "Es gab schon wieder eine Party" becomes "Es gab fei schu wieder ne Party"

There are  people that say "Was machste" "Was geht'n ab" "Yo, lan!"... usually those ghetto teenagers, who would beat the crap out of you when looking to them for 2 seconds XD

I remember sitting in the train, suddenly a guy sits on the place ahead, typical guy that could count as somepony who would be for germans in WW2. Damn I was scared, he already stressed some turkish guys and start talking with me. SAnd I tried my best to not get in panic to say something wrong. Mayby I got lucky that I was german, who knows what happened when not in the situation   I really was scared, but nothing happened, phew
