It is the sum of 42 consecutive prime numbers.

 

It is the sum of earth's radius and the moon's radius. The moon's diameter is 3/11 of earth's. So where the earth's radius is 11/14 of the total and the moon's is 3/14 of the total, 5,040 can be divided by 14 to equal 360, which is the number of degrees in a circle, the general shape of a celestial body.

 

5,040 is half the number of minutes in a week
