I understand about getting mad and wanting to break/damage stuff, but I never do as it's likely to cause more problems (fixing/replacing)

I've never taken it out on myself though - that would hurt.

Anything soft you can punch rather than yourself? Pillow/couch/matress?

Really, it's kind of just like a super pathetic temper tantrum. I've usually hit myself before even noticing I'm going to do it.

 

 Guess it's some kind of left-over anger issue, I used to have a lot of those. I can control it most of the time, but it gives me one heck of a bad headache even if I do.
