Chemm was shaking in fear when Code asked her that fated question. She was also frustrated because she too was wondering where Pyxel and Violet were! In fact, it was her who asked Code about Pyxel! She then vented her frustration at Code,

 

"Code I just asked you that question! I have no idea where they are, and I have no idea of how we're going to get out of here! Can't you see the worry on my face? I'm more worried about Pyxel than you, and yet I'm not even sure what to do in this stage! Can't you see how frustrated I am right now?!"

 

It was a regretful rant. Still, Chemm was frustrated. She made a frown on her face, wondering how they were going to get out of this dreaded town...

Right after Code asked that question, Chemm just exploded on him. As she kept scolding more and more, he slowly started to cower back with a blank expression. 'Holy crap! She was so docile just a minute ago.' Code thought as he as being yelled at. Everything was quiet when she finished. "Oh. Hehe, sorry 'bout that. I musta not heard yah." He replied with a sheepish smile while scratching the back of his head with his hoof. "Let's go look for them then." He quickly said and turned around towards the rest of the house so he wouldn't get yelled at more. "You comfortable?" He said to Eddie who was on his back with a grin.

Chemm bowed her head when she heard Code's sheepish reaction to her frustration. She felt bad about being frustrated, but she had to let it out. The situation was worsening every minute, and it seemed like Code wasn't doing anything to help. Still, she was apologetic. She didn't mean to rant like that. She responded with a defeated sigh,

 

"It's... It's ok. It's just that... this whole situation's been terrible. It's become really hard for me to handle." It was at this moment that Chemm muttered something that she didn't want to say...

 

"Oh dear Pyxel... If only I could save you..."

As Code was looking towards the back of the house, he listened to Chemm's apology for yelling. After that, she mumbled and Code heard small parts of it. '"dear Pyxel"and "save you", eh? Hehe, I knew it.' He thought to himself. "Nah, it's fine. We are all stressed and you just needed to vent, I understand. We just need to get with the rest of our group and we'll be fine. Remember, we all still have go to Angel Valley, right? So, let's get there." Code said to Chemm and turned his head around and gave Chemm a carefree smile. "Now. Let's go find the rest of our group." Code started to walk through the main level of the house. 'Hopefully that will help her stress for a while.'

Eddie wasnt too able to resist code putting him on his back "ge...get your hoofs..." Eddie was on his back already tired, bags under his eyes, he heard the two ponies talking to each other and he didnt pay attention neither to what the pony carrying on his back asked, Eddie Silver is sometimes ungrateful and antisocial, but his ears perked up and his one eye open wide while the other was half opened "wha-*COUGH!* WHAT??! hell no i need to get to manehattan, WITH or without you!! and buck those other ones, lets just get out of here without them" Eddie looked around with and didnt notice the yellow pony when his one eye was half opened, he turned his head and saw her "why do you keep asking about some...some pyxel" Eddie started mocking Chemm's voice and what she said " 'oh pyxel the love of *cough cough* the love of my life, i cant be without you...eeeh bucking...marry me pyxel' muah...muah...muah! face sucking yellow..." Eddie waved his hoof at her like saying whatever "i can do the same ship pyxel has done, that makes you wanna suck my..." he waved his hoof again at her

Chemm was comforted by Code's words. She could see that Code was trying his best to comfort her and that he didn't mean harm when he asked her about Pyxel. On the other hand, the explicitness and cynicism blaring out of the grey pony left Chemm fuming more and more every second. She decided, enough was enough. She decided to scream back at Eddie with the loudest scream she could give,

 

"YOU WANT TO KNOW SOMETHING YOU LARD?! YOU ARE A GREY MONSTROSITY AND OF NO VALUE!!! HOW DARE YOU MAKE EVEN A MINUTE COMPARISON WITH PYXEL?! HE SAVED MY LIFE, UNLIKE YOU WHO LIKES TO SHOUT VITRIOL TO EVERYPONY HE SEES!" After she was done, she took a few deep breaths, awaiting his response. Whatever response he gave, she was ready. She wasn't ready to show off her assertiveness. All of her ponies knew what she was like at her worst, and this was by no means her worst...

Listening to Chemm scream at Eddie, Code tried to hide a huge grin on his face. He continued to search around the main floor. 'Hehe, I have an idea.' He deviously thought to himself. As he searched the house, Code would walk near objects a bump Eddie into them, and everytime saying, "Oops. Sorry." He started to chuckle and almost forgot what he was originally doing. Quickly remembering what he was supposed to be doing, he called to Chemm. "Any luck yet?"

Eddie was still on code's back as he turned to the yellow one when she started to scream at him "and do you wanna know something? good and bad, how you say that im with no value...and and im a munster, those are only the delusions and make-believe stuff the ponity has created, what does that 'value' even mean huh?" Eddie yet again started mocking whit a fake joyful voice " 'fwiends, fun and good times together' and of course the most bullship statement of all 'fwiends till the end' OOOH and of course he saved you, that is only because you are a mare, i bet mares couldnt even get out of a paper bucking bag with two sides opened" and of course Eddie is not only a sexist but a misogynist "and whos shouting now? well hahah atleast im not crazy like you"

Eddie turned his Eddie away from chemm as he started to notice code was bumping him into object as Eddie hit his head on the corner of the wall "..OW QUIT IT I HATE YOU!!"

As they reached the end of the stairs Violet looked around maybe she can see the missing one and to know if there was any kind of danger. They left the door open which made a little light but the end of the basement wad still dark. In fact the basement was empty as the other places in the house. She could see only an old broom next to the wall and some short rope lying on the ground. They must check the darker area of the basement even if they didn't want. They moved close together to make sure nothing will happen. As they entered the dark Violet remembered what happened with the pony they have found minutes ago. She had a really bad feel being down there even if Pyxel was there. She hoped that if anything is happen than he could protect her. She moved a bit closer to him as they checked every dark corner and hoped that nothing bad happen with the others while they are being away. The full room was empty so the two pony decided to go back and meet with the others telling them the bad news. As they headed out, Violet felt that something knocked into her side. Her vision was a bot clearer than before. She turned back to see a dark shadow nat far from her. She thought they have found the pony they have searched for. "Hey! You are allright?!"-shouted Violet as they started to run back to the shade. As they stopped Pyxel realized that the shadow don't move and mentioned it to Violet. They went a bit closer to see what could be and as they did it...Violet started to scream than grabbed into Pyxel and cried. The last pony they have searched for was dead. Another victim, another horrible death. She hanged herself with one of the ropes. "I want to leave!"-begged Violet to Pyxel.

Pyxel looked at the hanged pony. Chills were sent down his spine and he was shuddering. It was like a horror movie...

"Okay... calm down... okay? It's going to be fine... I hope." Pyxel said, trying to calm down Violet.

"Let's just get out of this place... let's just go home... you wanna go home? I sure do..." He said, a small cheerful tone in his voice.

Turning his eyes off of the dead pony, he started dragging Violet outside.

"Let's just go home..." He muttered again, thinking about the hanged pony. Pyxel tried to push that horror out of his mind, but it kept coming back.

He just sat down on the cold ground and thought of home, tears in his eyes.

It was so nice from Pyxel that he was there when Violet was so upset. He dragged her out from the dark basement where was so brighter, even if it was night. She saw that Pyxel sat down next to her and also saw the tears in his eyes. They should leave as soon as they arrived. They shouldn't enter the house. They shouldn't leave anypony behind. There was no second chance. When she was young her parents always said her to be strong and never give up. They said she could find a solution doesn't matter how bad the situation was. Now it seemed there is only one solution. To leave...

 

Violet took a deep breath than stood up. "Come on Pyxel...we need to go..as you said, we will go home together..."-she said and hold her hoof to Pyxel to help him up. "We will make it together..."

Chemm could only scoff at Eddie as she heard a certain pessimism and nihilism being played out. They were terms she heard before at a philosophy class, but she could never imagine them being played out in such a wonderful world like Equestria. What ticked her off was what Eddie said about Pyxel. She felt a sense of love coming from Pyxel, and Eddie was wrong! She wasn't just any mare... she was a mare who was nearly fatally injured. Pyxel saved her first! Just as she was about respond in angry protest, she noticed Code bumping him into the side of the wall. Chemm let out a giggle before responding with a cheeky smile,

 

"Serves you right! I was truly hurt, and Pyxel saved me first!"

Eddie kept checking if his nose is bleeding, he still felt pain as he whispered "psychopatchic bitch broke my nose...aahhh" he heard chemm's giggles as he responded "oh and what if another cluster buck saves you huh? you gonna play in bed with him too? pfff you know you really do need help, matter of fact you need a shrink or something, first you cry and say 'boohoo im a lonely make-up wearing filly and i want to marry a prince but my tummy hurts'  then you throw a rock at me like some lunatic THEN scream ship at me and NOW you're smiling at me...i dont even...*sigh* i dont even know what to say" he turned to cade "hey Mr horse what do you think? should she number 1. by law  lock her in a nut ward or number 2. have it my way and make her chew and swallow broken glass shards...i would recommend the 3rd one, where we rip her teeth out with pliers"

 

Eddie turned to chemm "ALSO what celestia and the new bucking princess twilight say about friendship is a lie, its a lie with what is real what is really going on in this...this existence, you see the society created friendship and now they became...ssssssSO bucking deluded with it, friendships are like ships....they sink, you see you became whacked up at what you madeup, because it dosent fit with reality" Eddie stared at chemm with deranged eye not looking one second away while Eddie was talking

Pyxel looked at Violet.

"Let's hope so..." He muttered, wiping the tears off his face.

"Should we get back to others?" Pyxel asked violet in a much happier voice.

The poor stallion wasn't sure what to do, so he thought it was better if Violet took the next move.

Grabbing her hoof and getting up, Pyxel looked at the house again. The hanged pony flashed infront of his eyes.

"Huh?" He asked, thinking that Violet said something to him.

This was becoming quite comical. Chemm was now beginning to see a stallion who really needed help. She couldn't help but keep laughing at how ridiculous this grey pony was sounding. And ponies thought she was crazy at times. Well, all they had to do was see this stallion in action and they would think she was sane! Chemm then replied solemnly, realizing what the grey stallion was hacking away at,

 

"On the contrary little stallion, I think it's you who needs the help. Look at you. You have no positive feelings towards this world. Equestria isn't all doom and gloom like you make it. The reason I like Pyxel so much is because he looks very friendly and handsome. Plus, he saved me. What mare wouldn't want that?

 

I know we have our disagreements, like the moment I got really mad, but I was just frustrated. Your negativity's really not helping here. Don't let your sadness rub into ours because we want to get out of here. If you don't want to work with us, then you can just go and rot here so you can leave this terrible place you speak of."

Code could only stand there and listen to Chemm and Eddie go back and and forth, being to intimidated to chime in his thoughts. Actually, now that he thought about it, if Eddie has so much energy to rip on them, then he has plenty than enough to stand on his own. "End of the line." Said Code to Eddie as he dumped him on the floor. He then proceeded to check the rest of the floor. "I cannot find anyone. You think they maybe found their way back outside?" He asked Chemm as he went to look out the front door.

Eddie noticed chemm laughting what seemed she was laughting at him "see?! you are insane, and little?! ...well could be im 17 and who wouldnt want someone like that? ill tell you, a slut! sad?? BITCH i ran away with anger and hatred when i was 15 years old, and i did nothing but rob ponies for a living, and to be honest i dont care about anyone...i do not hate the world i hate beasts like you that live in it, and also..." Eddie was interupted as he was dropped on the floor "AAH! what the hell? you could of just let me get off" Eddie didnt get up he instead leaned again a coffee table "its funny how you were thought ssoooo bucking much about 'fwiendship, compassion, symphathy, love' and the lie list goes on, i do not care a bit, its not the first im being treated like a dog im used to it i live on the ground its my own world...ohh and wanna know who killed that snake? i did" Eddie closed his eyes and smiled at them with a fakeish grin "yup snaped his neck, strange tho, snakes dont have spines to snap oh well hes dead"

When Chemm noticed Eddie being dropped onto the floor, Chemm couldn't help but continue to giggle. Code was clearly having a good time with Eddie now. She decided to ignore Eddie for now because she heard a question being asked from Code. She too couldn't find anypony inside the house, so she decided to agree with Code.

 

"Well you're right. We haven't really found anyone in here, so I guess we could just try leaving the house for now and look around the town some more." Chemm then noticed the night sky. It was becoming darker and darker. It left her wondering whether Pyxel or Violet actually got out of the house... The whole debacle was scary, and it was resulting in Chemm's fears developing again. She then spoke again to Code with a tinge of fear,

 

"Yeah. Maybe we should go now. I can't help but feel this house getting darker and darker as we travel..."

Hearing Eddie's voice, Code just ignored him. 'Blah, blah, blah. Does he ever shut up?' He thought to himself as he kept walking towards thefront door. Code smiled as Chemm kept giggling at him for harassing Eddie. Getting near the front door, he had noticed Chemm's observation had been correct. It is getting darker. This only makes the struggle to survive this town harder. Looking out the front door, Code was happy to see that Violet and Pyxel was outside, but a little surprised to see them holding hooves. 'Oh boy. Chemm will not like that.' He thought to himself.

Chemm was happy that Code agreed with her about Eddie. He was becoming a great nuisance. She could understand where Eddie was coming from, but to spread his ill will to everypony else was simply unwarranted. Afterwards, Chemm walked along with Code out into the open. She turned to Code and noticed that he was looking quite tense... Chemm then turned her head... she could see Pyxel and Violet holding hooves... 

 

It was a horrific sight, even worse than seeing the dead pony at one of the floors at the haunted house. Chemm could only open her mouth wide as she saw the two walking together. She knew it. Violet DID want something with Pyxel... all she could do though was stand firm at her position after closing her mouth in complete disbelief...

Noticing Chemm coming and looking out the door with him, he knew she saw what he was seeing. He looked at Chemm and all he saw was a horrified look on her face. 'Ah jeez...' Code then tried nudging Chemm to try and snap her out of it. "Hey. Hey. Snap out of it. This honestly isn't the time to be doing this. After we get out of this town, be jealous and heartbroken all you want. Hell, even go after him, but wait til we escape this. Ok?" Code said to Chemm in a quieter, more serious voice, giving her a look of worry.

"I don't know where they could be, maybe they are still in the house. We should probably wait outside." It was getting darker and darker every moment, also the wind started to blow. As Violet looked up she could see clouds covering the sky and the moon. "Hope there won't be storm"-muttered Violet. She didn't even noticed that she still held Pyxel's hoof. She heared steps coming from behind them, but as she turned around she saw Code and Chemn. "Guys! Is everypony allright!"-Violet ran towards them pulling Pyxel with herself. "I'm so glad that nothing bad happened with you! We...we have found the missing pony...she..."-Violet couldn't finished her sentence. She saw again the face of the hanged pony front of her eyes. Such a terrible death. They didn't even cut her down.

Pyxel let go of Violet's hoof, an annoyed look on his face.

When all of his hooves were back on the ground, he spotted Chemm and Code.

"Glad to see you in one piece!" He said to them, his face brightening up a bit. It was good to see his friends back.

"Are you alright?" He asked Chemm, noticing her eyes. They were widened... was she scared? Did she see something in the house?

"You saw the same pony me and Violet did? It wasn't pretty..."

The whole situation was very unbecoming. Eddie... was right. She was... just an ordinary mare. Probably a weak one at that too. She got stood up by Pyxel... He and Violet were holding hooves. It was so much for Chemm to process. She couldn't believe it. The whole idea of a crush on Pyxel was falling apart. She could only stand there in horror. She didn't know what to say. She figured she'd burst out in even greater anger than normal after what she saw, and that... she did.

 

"YOU TRYING TO ASK ME WHETHER I'M ALRIGHT?! THAT MEANS NOTHING!!! I'M FINE AND THE SOONER WE GET OUT OF THIS HELL HOLE AND YOU, THE HAPPIER I'LL BE!! NOW LET'S GO!!"

Eddie was still on the floor leaned against the coffee table "buck ya'll" he got up as he STILL felt the broken nose pain "need some wool or...aaaaah that sanke had a med kit!!" he walked up the stairs already hearing chemm screaming outside "pffah! told ya she's crazy" as Eddie walked into the room where he murdered light he noticed that the bed and the furniture in that room has been moved as he looked down on the floor he saw 7 dead corpses of dead little fillies and colts all laying beside light's corpse, they had severe burns on they're skins and most of them had a smile on theyre faces, Eddie just looked confused and shocked "what the??!" he wanted to get out of there as soon as possible but the medkit was on the bed as it was, he started scooting over to it while looking at the corpses "this is not happening, it wasnt like this when i killed you I SWEAR TO..." as he grabbed the medkit he heard a quiet filly voice, he could only understand one sentence repeated "we have somepony to play, come play with us" Eddie got sweat running down his spine as he heard the laughter, "its not real its my head prducing hallucinations yeah yeah YEAH?"

 

 

he didnt want to head back down stairs, he could of sworn he heard someone walking around "no no im gone out the window" Eddie opened the window and gently lowered himself down whit the medkit handle in his teeth, it was a relief for him to get out of the house
