Sterling was happy that Corona was feeling much better. Her teasing certainly made Sterling giggle and blush. After the ride to Ponyville, Sterling saw Corona rush back into the school. She was greeted with taunts and looks of concern and derision, leaving Sterling worried. However, the way Corona walked suggested that she was confident. It left Sterling smiling happily as he too walked in the school. He could hear taunts directed at him as well, but he didn't care. He knew that comforted a mare and that was all that mattered to him as he trotted to his next class...

Regal looked up and saw a troubled look on Snowdream's face.
"Hey Snowdream. are you ok?" Regal wasn't sure what just happened. -was it something I said?- He looked around thinking something around them was wrong. He thought back, it was after he ran his hoof through his mane that she looked like that. -Maybe that was too much-
"Snow" he began only to have the bell for class to ring. "Dang it" he said

"Looks like we have to go to class" He looked down the hallway to his class and looked back at Snowdream. "I'll see you after class?" he said a little hopefully.

Forest and his friends were flying through the hallways to get to their class, when they noticed Corona
"Hey Look it's the mare from before" said one of the group
"Hey you should ditch, Lover unicorn , to hang out with us" said another.
"Yeah Your an ace flier like Forest over here" They smiled and flew around them. Forest just hovered before them watching his friends taunt them.
"Enough!" He said with a tone the quickly halted his group. "We have better thing to do then torment the unicorn, and remember she is a sky warden, she can drop you idiots just as fast as I can" his group flew away from them. he looked at Corona
"My friends can be idiots, just ignore ever thing they say" he barely gave Sterling a second look before flying off with his group. he still had Bass to find. He wasn't going to let Bass Cannon fly circles around him.

"Huh? Oh, sorry I guess I was just caught up in my thoughts." She smiled to him. He was interrupted by the bell as he tried to speak and he seemed slightly frantic.

Flare pulled out his guitar and started playing a song on it. "It's better then being bored" He said to himself as he continued playing something by Caravan Palace. He then stopped playing when he head the bell ring. "Class...great" He said putting his guitar in its case

Sterling pranced over to his next class, unaware of what Corona was going through with the other pegasi. He looked into biology class with excitement, uncaring of what tragedies belied them the past morning. He was happy to be back in school, and he was happy to have found a best friend in Corona.

By the time the bell had rang, Bass Cannon was already at her first class: Biology. She had no idea why she even went to this class, she didn't want anything to do with science, that was Shining Midnight's slice of the pie. Her's was music. She didn't think about it too much, as the bell had interrupted her train of thought and ponies were rushing in.

Flare waited for the ponies to enter his class and made sure to keep his guitar with him at all times so nopony tries to mess with it. He was happy that he was able to bring it into school today. "I just need to get to my music class then I can make sure this stays safe" He said to himself

Corona just ignored them for the most part giving Forest's friends a glare when they said that she should ditch Sterling. Corona headed towards her first class for the day. "Thanks for standing up for me like that Forest but I'm not going to sit back and take abuse anymore. I'm tired of being stepped on, and besides both of us are Arial Aces for the Feather Falcons now." Corona stopped just outside the door to the science class. "I'll see you later Forest, I'll see you at the first practice next week ok."

Corona walked into her science class and took her seat next to Bass Cannon. She looked over and smiled at Bass Canon, "Hey Bass, I wanted to show you something today. It was one of my favorite mix records and if you want I can let you borrow it for a bit if you like it."

Pink Heart continued to look frantically for Sterling. She was going to warn Sterling about Diamond Glitter, and she was worried that she was too late... She eventually found Sterling when she walked in biology class. What relief. They shared the same class. Now Pink Heart could warn Sterling... if it wasn't already too late. Pink Heart trotted with urgency to Sterling, worried that Diamond Glitter already performed her evil.

 

"Sterling!" Pink Heart called out. Sterling looked up from his desk and noticed a mare running towards him. Who was she? Sterling had no idea...

 

"Huh? Who are you?" Sterling replied with confusion. 

 

"Sterling! My name's Pink Heart. I just wanted to warn you about Corona-" As soon as Sterling heard Corona's name uttered, Sterling waved his hoof, motioning her to say no more.

 

"Look Pink Heart. I don't know why you're warning about Corona, but you're too late. The damage was already done. What I'm really wondering is how you know about the prank on Corona. Maybe you're a friend of the pony who placed all that deal of torment to her! Well if so, I don't want to speak to you anymore. Now let me off in peace." Sterling replied sternly. Whoever this mare was, she was no good.

 

"But-"

 

"No buts. Just leave me be." As soon as Sterling uttered that phrase, Pink Heart trotted sadly away to her seat. She was too late, and now, she was never going to have a chance with Sterling...

Regal arrived to his math class. Even though he did well in math, it was his least favorite subject to learn. Regal looked around hoping to see any pony he knew. he didn't see anypony he knew. His math class for the most part was quiet, but then again it only just started. Regal took notes about the problems, but his mind quickly drifted off. He spaced out in his math class thinking about other things. He looked out the window to see the green grass and large trees that surrounded the school. a little pass that he could see the city. He thought about walking around the town again today, he did like to just walk around and do nothing. Nothing noble or very elegant, but it was peaceful to him.

Bass Cannon looked to the mare, and then to the disc. She grabbed it with her wing and inspected it. "Got some Deadhor5 on here... A bit of Skrillekx, Flux, Zompony... Not a bad mix, even a few songs I don't already have. I think I'll have a look at it later, but for now you hold onto it.

Corona took the CD back with a smile, "Ok, Bass Cannon I'll hold onto it for now and I'm glad you like it." Corona squeed on the inside. She was happy to finally be on the way to becoming friends with Bass Cannon, and who knew maybe they could become best friends. Corona focused back on the teacher as he walked in and started class. Corona started making the mixes and all the other things for the project for the day. Corona was really thankful that Bass Cannon hadn't said anything about her mane, if she had she wasn't sure she wouldn't break down one last time.

Bass Cannon looked to the teacher who was now writing things on the board. Bass followed the instructions letter for letter and mixed up a few different brews. "Shining Midnight would already have passed this class." She said to herself with a chuckle.

Math dragged on longer then Regal thought it should. He was still looking out the window, when his teacher called on him
"Charming Regal?" said the math teacher. "Can you answer the question on the board?" he said with a raised eyebrow.
"Actual I prefer just Regal" he looked at the problem on the board. "X equals 9 to the tenth power?" he said trying to smile.

"Yes. As you can see..." The teacher went on with his lecture, but regal was off daydreaming once again.trying to pick off where he left off. Daydreaming was one of Regal's habits.

Corona started mixing some more potions on her own, she wanted to see what kind of things she could cook up. After making a few bubbling concoctions and some very smelly potions Corona decided it was best to quit while she was ahead. Corona's ear's perked up when she heard Bass talk about somepony named Shining Midnight. "I'm guessing Shining Midnight is your brother Bass Cannon?" Corona continued mixing the ingredients for the lab while she waited for an answer.

Sterling went through biology class with lots of thoughts on his mind. It was hard for him to concentrate on class when he was wondering about the evil-doer who performed the trick on Corona. He also wondered about Pink Heart. What was up with her? Why didn't she warn him before the incident so he could prevent it from happening? How did she know about the prank? He needed answers, but was quickly forced to turn back to biology as his biology teacher scolded him for what he deemed to be daydreaming.

Pink Heart wasn't having much luck concentrating either. She struggled to focus on the intricacies of the cell. She wasn't much of a biology pony, and matters were made worse when she sat behind Sterling. She could only daydream about Sterling's brown mane, imagining herself caressing it softly in hopes of becoming his everything... She quickly shook her head when the teacher scolded Sterling for losing concentration. She didn't want to get scolded like that. Hoping not to draw attention from the teacher, she tried harder than normal to maintain concentration, albeit with great difficulty...

Bass looks to Corona "Oh, no. Me and him are just good friends. He's the best Science pony in Canterlot. Best in Equestria for Physics and Astronomy. He's also the Royal Watcher. But I'm sure he would've mixed up a potion that could turn a mare into a stallion on the first day. Oooh, wait. I think I remember the ingredients for that!" She then proceeds to grab a whole bunch of ingredients from the back room and start mixing them.

Snowdream spent the entirety of her English class staring out the window, only snapping back to attention when the teacher called on her to answer a question.

 

Quickly Snowdream woul process the information written on the board and come up with an answer that at least sounded like she tried. As soon as the teacher stopped picking on her Snowdream continued gazing out the window.

Corona felt her eye twitch when she heard Bass Cannon talk about that potion that could change a mare into a stallion. Corona wasn't sure how to take that one. On one hoof it would be an excellent way for her to play a prank on somepony, but it also didn't seem like too fun of a concept. Class continued like normal until the bell rang for the end of class and for everypony to head to their next class. Corona made a stop by the gym and took a look at the roster for the Feather Falcons, both her and Forest were the Lead Ace's. They would be the ones leading the team and were going to be the main scoring ponies. Corona was ecstatic, she was going to show everypony how athletic she was going to be and that she was going to become the next wonderbolt.

Bass Cannon heard the bell ring, but continued on with her potion. She put all the ingredients in. With correct measurements and order... But she needed a test pony. "Anybody want to test out the potion I made? If it works, you'll be changed from a mare to a stallion, or vise versa"

Regal heard the toll of the bell and smiled. He was finally free of math and now had time to meet up with Snowdream. He was one of the first to leave his class. While walking pass the biology classroom he smelled an odd scent. He couldn't quiet place his hoof on the smell, but it was enough to peak his interest to look inside the classroom.

Regal entered the room to see Bass working on some sort of potion.
"Hello" he said with a small bow. "What is that? If I may ask"

Forest was enter the main floor. He had been downstairs in the Workshop class. His friends had cause a small accident that sent another pony to the nurse. Forest just played dumb to get away from the trouble his friends were in. He still had other friend in school. He walked over to the gym to see the roster. He saw Corona, but didn't think to much of her. he only cared if he was a Lead Ace. He saw and smiled to see he was. He turned to face Corona.

"Looks like you are my rival now" Forest said. He opened his long, grand wings to show off.
"Still I want to see who is better after school today, I challenge you to a race" Forest wasn't going to share lead Ace with another pony that couldn't match his skill and talent.

Bass Cannon looked to Regal "This is a potion I had just made recently. IT's supposed to change a mare into a stallion, or a stallion into a mare. But I don't know if it works, and I really don't want to test it out on myself." She noticed him sniffing the air in an odd way and she giggles "You probably smell the sulfur and crystals having a chemical reaction in the potion. Odd smell, I know, but I got used to a whole bunch of smells a while ago." She picked the potion back up and offered it to Regal "Test it out for me? Please?"

"wait what?" Regal gave a some what strange look at Bass. He thought it over. -I really doubt it works, but I should be careful- 

Seeing the potion offered to him, he sighed.
"I guess I could... You can change me back right?" he said as he took the potion. "here I go" He drank the potion and waited for something to happen

She examined him as he drank the potion. He slowly changed into a Mare. "Hey, it worked! And um, no I can't change you back, but it does wear off in about 2 hours.. So um... Good luck until then, I guess?" She quickly gathers her things and she flies out and to her next class.

Corona watched as Forest showed off his wings and she mentally blank faced. She couldn't believe how competitive this stallion was since both of them were labeled Lead Aces. As much as Corona didn't like showing off to other ponies but this was different, she wasn't about to sit back and not defend herself like she had every other time. "You're on Forest, I'll show you just what a mare can do." Corona stomped her hoof on the ground and flapped her wings a few times, this was going to be a good test of her abilities with all of the practicing and skill it took to do her special talent.
