After biology class had ended, Sterling quickly jotted down the readings he had to do for homework and quickly left the room. He wanted nothing to do with Pink Heart and wanted out. Considering how she knew of the dastardly deed, he still couldn't get over why Pink never told him sooner. He then trotted over to his next class, which was math. Another fun and easy class for him. Hopefully it would calm his mind, being forced to ignore the taunts that were directed at him about Corona. He could hear them speak with a mocking voice,

 

"Hey lover boy!" one stallion spoke.

"Did you get so desperate as to pick a grey mare to date?! What a loser!" spoke another mare. Sterling had to close his ears as he walked into math class, glad that he was safe... for now.

Pink Heart was now walking to her English class. She couldn't stop thinking about Sterling and that victim. She wanted so badly to tell them that they had to be aware of Diamond Glitter should she attempt another prank on Corona. With her inevitably knowing that her prank backfired, Pink Heart could only wonder what dastardly deed Diamond Glitter could do next...

Regal looked at his odd new body.

"Wait. No you can't just leave me like this!" He shouted after the mare. He was a little ticked at Bass. Still he didn't want to be seen by any pony so he in the cabinet in the classroom. Regal knew this meant skipping class and lunch, but this was too much for him. so he sat alone in the cabinet in the biology room.

Once Bass Cannon was a little ways away, she landed and started walking. Then she noticed Forest and Corona... She had an idea... She started to fly very fast towards them. She flew right inbetween them, almost knocking them over with the force of the wind she caused. She landed about 10 hoofs away (OOC: would that be the proper conversion from the measurement of feet? idk). "Oh sorry guys, I didn't see you there." She chuckled, and then flew off to her next class.

Corona glared at Forest letting out a little snort. "I'll be there Forest don't you worry I'll be there and I'll show you not to count anypony out." Corona started off after walking past Forest, she wasn't going to be pushed around by somepony that thought that he was better than her.

Corona walked down the halls of the school headed to her next class, math. Corona spotted Sterling in the hall and made her way up to him brushing his side with her wing. "Hey Sterling, how are you today? You excited to go to math class with me?" Corona smiled blushing a little as she shuffled her hooves.

Sterling continued to walk through the halls, feeling uneasy about the rumouring that had spread because of his interjection for Corona. As he trotted, he heard a familiar, cute voice. It was Corona! Sterling hadn't seen her since she got back to school! When Sterling looked up, he could see Corona blushing at him! She was so cute whenever she blushed! Sterling giggled at Corona, realizing that his best friend was now by his side.

 

"Sure you can walk with me! And make sure to sit beside me during math class! If you don't understand the math, I can help!" Sterling replied happily as he continued to trot towards math class.

Pink Heart was walking in the Sterling's direction, since English class was just beside math class. She wanted to catch up to Sterling and talk with him, but he was too late! Corona already got to him first, and he looked preoccupied! It left Pink Heart disheartened. Diamond Glitter was right. Sterling wanted Corona and Corona only... maybe the only way to earn his heart would be to break Corona's first... But she didn't want to do that! Seeing what had just happened, she couldn't bear to help Diamond pull another prank! These thoughts lingered onward as she trotted sadly towards English... little did she know her worries would only multiply once she entered...

Corona followed with Sterling loving every second with him, since earlier today she'd been trying to gather up the courage to ask him if he'd want to go out with her but every time she wanted to ask she got really shy about it. Corona walked into the classroom with Sterling and she took her seat with him next to his desk. "So Sterling did you hear that I'm a Lead Ace for the Feather Falcons for Wing Ball this year?"

Sterling looked onward at Corona, smiling as she told him the good news. Sterling looked amazed to say the least. He knew Corona had the talent, but he was worried that the group had rejected her after all that she went through today.

 

"Wow... Congratulations Corona! I'm glad they were smart enough to let you in! You're an amazing flyer to say the least!" Sterling replied to Corona happily. He was so happy for her, seeing that she had recovered after what had transpired...

Pink Heart trudged to English class, still worried about Sterling and Corona. She knew this wouldn't be the last of Diamond Glitter's treachery, but she wasn't sure how to say it to Sterling. He needed her to listen, but he wouldn't have a word of it! As she entered the English classroom, she jumped slightly at the cyan pony sitting alone in the class...

 

"Pink Heart! You get here at once!" She spoke furiously... Diamond Glitter didn't want her accomplice to say anything... now that she was in English class, it was now her time to strike...

Corona smiled back at Sterling as more and more ponies filtered into the classroom. "Yea I'm certain that I'll even be able to beat out Forest after school today." Corona pulled out her sketchpad and a pencil and started drawing while she waited for the class to begin. Corona was already starting to make plans for the Feather Falcons, coming up with a few plays that could be good to try out. Her focus suddenly shifted as she found herself starting to doodle Princess Luna and of course Sterling in the bottom corner of sketchpad.

Sterling smiled at Corona's new found confidence. He hadn't seen Corona this confident since they walked around Baltimare Park. Now that Corona's spirits were lifted, Sterling felt a new duty emerge. He had to make sure that this happiness remained throughout her stay in Baltimare. They were both new to Baltimare. Having Corona deflated continually was not something Sterling wanted to see. As he thought about this, he noticed Corona taking out a notepad and drawing with what looked like a sketchbook. He looked surprised once she lifted her pencil and started to scribble things on it. 

 

Sterling wondered what was on the sketchbook. He couldn't help but take a peek. Considering that math class hadn't start yet, he knew that Corona couldn't have been writing math notes. He lurched slightly, hoping that Corona wouldn't notice him lurching over...

Corona caught a glimpse of Sterling peeking at her sketchpad and gave a low giggle. Corona continued to sketch a little more finishing her drawing of Sterling and Luna before starting on a sketch of herself. The rest of the class was starting to file in, causing her to start to quickly finish the sketch of herself. "Um...Sterling...I was wondering....um well...oohhh...shoot." Corona started to get flustered again and wrote something hurriedly underneath the sketches and slid the sketchpad to Sterling. Would you like to go out later tonight with me like...um...a...a...a..date???

Sterling jumped inside when Corona giggled. He just wanted a single peek at the drawing she was making... what was the harm in that? Sterling stopped lurching to the sides as he waited for Corona to finish her drawing. As more and more students walked into class, Sterling refocused on his math work, anticipating class to start any moment now. When he was about to get reading on some basic algebra, Corona whisked him a piece of paper from her sketchpad. Sterling took it quietly and read through the note... Sterling smiled gleefully at the question, and wrote back in response,

 

'Sure! I was thinking we should check out a baseball game today! At Cameden Yards, just a few blocks from the baseball field! My parents are going to be there for some reporting! I can't wait! Sterling then sent the sketch note back to Corona, clearly delighted that he was receiving his first date...

Corona blushed as she read the note that Sterling gave back to her. She felt her heart skip a beat thinking about it but Corona had to focus. She still had to stay focused on school and afterwards she had that big flight contest with Forest right after school. The teacher finally made it inside the classroom and began class. The first couple of problems for the day were easy but once they started getting into the harder mathematics Corona started struggling a little. "Hey Sterling do you think you can give me a hoof with these problems? I'm not quite getting it." Corona chuckled, scratching the back of her head with her wing.

Sterling saw the math teacher enter just as Corona had squeed in joy at his acceptance of her request. As math class started, Sterling breezed through the problems assigned to them. It was merely simple algebra, like 2x-5=4 and (10x+2)/6 = 2. He noticed Corona struggling with the quadratic questions though. Those questions were always tough for those ponies who didn't quite get acquainted with algebra like he did. Sterling quickly lent his hoof to her and attempted to explain the information...

 

"Well... x^2-x-6=0. Ok, so basically, what you do first is to see which numbers add to -1 and multiply to -6. Try that out for size!"

Corona listened to Sterling explain to her on how to figure out the problems. Corona felt like everything that 'he'd just said flew right over her head and confused her more. Corona took a few moments and tried to figure out the problems having a little trouble but after trying it a few more times she finally started to get the hang of it. "Thanks Sterling it's starting to get a little easier for me." Corona continued working on the math equations, but her focus was set on her race with Forest after school and the fact that next week was the start of the Wing Ball season.

Sterling was downhearted when Corona struggled even more with Sterling's explanation of the math problems. He then lurched back to his seat with slight defeat, hoping that Corona could solve the problems on her own. His face lifted a light smile when he noticed that Corona was going through the problems just fine. Now he could get back to his work, excited about the baseball game at Cameden Yards...

Diamond Glitter saw an all too familiar face at the English class, and she was none too pleased to see Pink Heart. Her plan was nearly foiled because of Pink Heart's blabbery mouth! Now that she was here, she had to find some way to force Pink back into submission... She got it. As Pink Heart had no choice but to sit beside Diamond, she made her move.

 

"Well, well, well... If it isn't my "friend", Pink Heart!" Diamond spoke with an irritation in her voice. 

"Hello Diamond Glitter..." Pink Heart responded, not too pleased to be forced to sit beside her "friend".

"You were trying to tell on Sterling about my prank weren't you?! Well I'll put a stop to that. If you ever try something like that again... Oh... how does this sound? Pink Heart decided to place the paint on Corona's cap simply because she was jealous of her! That she was stealing Sterling away and that all she wanted was just to get Corona away from you!" Diamond Heart chuckled evilly. As the teacher walked in to start class, she knew now that Pink Heart couldn't say anything to Sterling... now she could come up with another attempt to make Corona's life miserable...

Flare was sitting in the back of his English class and overheard two mares talking about something. His eyes went wide when he heard something about a prank and Corona. "What are they even talking about..." he said to himself as he sighed. "Well what ever it is it must be because of her then" Flare said to himself

Bass Cannon looked around that classroom of her English class. Noticing all the different coloured ponies, and their colorful manes, and such. She looked out the window and saw the principal walking into the school. "Finally the lazy mare decides to show up." She thought to herself. She now had a plan. As soon as class was over, she would go to the principal's office, and ask her a few questions.

(OOC: Lunchtime is going to be coming up here soon and then we'll be doing a time jump just a week so that the start of the Wingball season and start of all major after school activities.)

Corona continued working on her math work finishing her problems with ease now thanks to Sterling helping her with them earlier. Corona continued watching as the teacher explained more of the math problems until they heard the bell rang, signaling the time for lunch. Corona packed up her things and headed for the door and waited for Sterling, she wanted to have lunch with him before the big race later after school.

Sterling noticed that Corona was finishing up her math homework with relative ease at this point. He looked on gladly as he was already finished his work. The algebra was always easy for him, since he learned a lot of it himself. When the school bell struck signalling for lunch, Sterling excitedly ran towards the door, noticing that Corona was already there first. He leaned up to Corona and excitedly asked,

 

"So Corona, what are you doing for lunch right now?! I'll just be eating at the cafeteria if that's ok with you!"

Corona smiled back at Sterling and gave a light blush. "Um well nothing really, I packed my lunch again today and planned on eating in the cafeteria as well. Did you wanna eat lunch together?" Corona asked as both of them started trotting down the halls, maneuvering through the other groups of ponies. Some of them making rude comments or mocking Corona about her coat color and the new grey patterns in her mane. Luckily with Sterling with her she didn't feel any fear or sadness cause she knew that as long as he was with her everything would be just fine.

"Honestly I should have to sit in here if I just had said no" He leaned his head back against door. -I wonder what Snowdream will think when I don't show up for lunch?- He thought to himself. He could hear the bell toll for lunch.

Snowdream grabbed her books an trotted towards the door. She returned her books to her locker and continued towards the cafeteria. Snowdream grabbed a tray and put a salad and apple juice to eat for her lunch. She found a free table and started eating, looking out for Regal.

Sterling looked at Corona who mentioned about her lunch. Sterling nodded back happily when she mentioned that she wanted to eat at the cafeteria. He replied to her with a smile,

 

"Sure Corona! That's why I asked where you were eating for lunch! Let's go!" Sterling then motioned for Corona to come along with him to the packed cafeteria...

Bass Cannon heard the bell ring for lunch. She gathered her things and flew straight to the principal's office. She knocked on the door, with finally an answer. "Finally, I can ask you a few questions." She walked in and sat down in front of the principal's desk.

Principle Levski was working hard on some of the many formalities he had to deal with as principal of Hoofstomp High. Budgets, signs of student dropouts, academic standards, and more. All he wanted was just a short holiday, but no... for this school year, the high school became littered with new 9th graders... it would probably become the largest alumni class in history... It was nice having such a large class, but it was certainly difficult trying to get them all in line and ready for school with that disaster of an orientation event...

 

It thus wasn't surprising when he became less than pleased to hear the door knocking in his office... He replied to the knock with reluctance,

 

"Come in..."

 

After the student had come into his office, he saw the student sit down rather calmly, collecting himself quite decently. It lightened his mood slightly... he hated students who always got nervous at him. With a deep sigh though, he then spoke again to the student.

 

"First off, what's your name? And then, what do you want?"
