What is your favourite TES game? Skyrim? Oblivion? Morrowind?  

 

Maybe even .... Batllespire? Redguard? Daggerfall? Arena?

 

The Elder Scrolls games are all so very good, but I would like to know what your favourite game is and the reason behind it. TES games have always given a great world to explore in the fantasy world of Tamriel where we have been set out in the open world to explore it at our own will.

What do you think is the best game?

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

 

..Why?

The soundtrack, the atmosphere, the story, the quests, only downside is that the voice acting is poor and on top of that, only 12 people voiced the entire game!

 

Which games have you played?

The Elder Scrolls Arena to V: Skyrim.

 

First TES game played?

...Skyrim.

 

Favourite storyline from all games?

Probably the Oblivion Crisis. You can tell that there's a real sense of desperation in the races of man and mer as the Daedra try destroying everything they love.

 

Best moments?

 

Sometimes I get arrested just to hear that.

..Why?

 

Oblivion is my favourite because it was the first Elder Scrolls game I played and it was just so different from the other games around at its time. I could play Oblivion for weeks and this was before I found out about mods. I used to love role-playing as all these different characters, my best was a Hunter. On top of all of that the combat felt so responsive and fast, it was good.. not great. The main reason was because of the story lines all the different quest-lines and option I could take, I got really attached to some characters.

Oblivion: Dark Brotherhood! I think I almost cried.

Nice I forgot how good the music was in Oblivion,One thing I found annoying though was the Combat music.

What do you think is the best game? 
Oblivion is my favourite tes game by far!
 
..Why?
As for why, honestly why not? It had a solid plotline, lifelike npc's, and generally felt like the most well thought out tes game.
 
Which games have you played?
I've played all the tes games in the main series but only ever finished oblivion and skyrim.
 
First TES game played?
Oblivion was the first game I played, found it in my dad's cupboard when I was 10, been playing it since.
 
Favourite storyline from all games?
I loved skyrim's story the best even though skyrim felt more like an action game than a "true" tes game.
 
Best moments?

Warning spoilers, don't click unless you beat oblivion's main quest

 

My favourite moment is the scene in the temple, when martin sacrifices himself to become an avatar of akatosh, defeating mehrunes dagon and ending the oblivion crisis.

Yup I live in the South of England. Are you American then, because of the way you spell it ? I always find it strange hoe We spell the same words slightly different.

Well from what I learned england has their own English dictionary which had stuff like armor, favorite, color, etc. with a ou, and we had our own English dictionary with the same things but with a o. Silly dictionaries.

Morrowind is by far my favorite.

 

 

..Why?

In Morrowind I feel like you actually make an impact on the game world. Towards the end of the majority (it might be all of them but I can't remember) of Guild quest lines you get to side with one of two factions and have an impact on that game world. You actually have to work to advance in the guild, so that you don't become the leader of a guild when your level five. 

 

I also loved the plot. I could talk about this for a while but I think I'll stop here.
