Canter turned to diamond and returned the hug. "Hey Diamond!" he said happily. He considered Diamond to be on of his best friends due to the fact that she was always either taking care of or playing with him since he was a foal, and he always enjoyed her company. He had played with Cynthia a lot since he spent most of his time in the palace learning aura arts. Firedash he had seen around, usually hanging out with either Diamond or Cynthia. Even though he was much younger he still enjoyed being with them.

If Tempest was mad before, he was now. He landed in front of Rut as his aura surrounded him. "Tell Frost that he's in charge while I'm gone." He said, darkly. "Also, find Cynthia and make sure she is safe." The cyan pegesus then flew into the air and towards the Dark and Orion's cave.

 

The second figure reappeared in the same cave and threw Ivy next to Dark. "Are you sure he'll come."

 

The leader smiled darkly. "Of course. We have Ivy and the dragon." He said.

Orion flew after Tempest. "I'm coming to." He said. "If Dark is in danger, I wouldn't be able to live with myself." He said. The dragon then landed in the cave and sighed. "I couldn't really see the ponies face. He was wearing a cloak and basically appeared out of nowhere."

Tempest nodded and sighed. "So, we know this pony can use teleportation magic." He said to himself. "If they were careless, they would have left a trace of magic behind." After a few minutes, the cyan pegesus was able to pick up a trace. "I know where they are." The cyan pegesus then flew out of the cave and towards where Ivy and Dark were being held.

 

Dark groaned as she woke up. After a quick check, she found out that the eggs were thankfully unharmed. He dragoness then noticed Ivy and nudged her.

Orion sighed and flew after Tempest, after a few minutes. He wanted to make sure the cyan pegesus wouldn't suspect anything.. "I don't care if he doesn't want me to go, I need to make sure Dark is safe." He thought. The dragon kept to the shadows, hoping that Tempest wouldn't be able to detect him.

Firedash came to Cynthia and Diamond. "Hay Guys." Then she see a someone else. "Hello and what is your name?" She was looking at Canter.

Fireblaze and Rainbow Dash was flying around after they finishes reading there books.

Skull and Futtershy Went to check on the animals as they making sure they are ok.

Blade working on the Farm while Applejack was getting ready head to the Doctor offices.

Tempest soon landed in front of a large mountain. He could sense Ivy and Dark's aura inside. The cyan pegesus then trotted into the room, only to notice three hooded ponies and the cage containing Dark and Ivy.

 

One of the cloaked ponies smirked. "We were wondering when you would get here." He said. "We would thank you for bringing Xena to us, but that won't matter in a few minutes."

 

The cyan pegesus grit his teeth in anger as his aura surrounded him. "Who do you think you are?" He asked.

 

The pony smirked and dropped the hood to reveal a face that Tempest knew all to well. "It's good to see you, son."

 

Cynthia smiled and glanced at Firedash. "This is Canter. He's one of my dad's students." She said.

lightning didn't find Clayton but he saw diamond, Cynthia, canter and firedash so he walked over to them "hey sis, Cynthia, firedash and i can't forget canter, so what are you all up to." he said as he gave diamond a hug, diamond looked at lightning "hey lightning i don't know what we're doing." she said smiling.

Frost retreaved the news from Rut and ran to his home to let Ember know of his future whereabouts. "Tempest has gone out for "important" business and I'll be at the palace until he returns." he said as he ran back towards town to find his son. When he found Canter he turned to Cynthia. "I need to go to the palace for a while, take Canter and the others to my home or come with me to the palace." he said in a rushed tone as he began to run to the palace.

Tempest formed two blades of aura in his hooves as his aura surrounded him. "You lost the right to call me that years ago." He said.The cyan pegesus's aura then grew more violent, and he roared.

 

Tempest's father laughed. "That's it. Show me the true power of Xena." He said.

 

Tempest smirked. "Like I would give you something like that so easily." He said. The cyan pegesus then noticed the other two ponies drop their hoods to reveal King Sombra and Nightmare Moon. "You have got to be kidding." He muttered.

 

Cynthia followed Frost. "What happened?" She asked.

Firedash following them too while thinking what going on as she was confuse with this and looking at Frost. "What is going on Mr. Frost?" Firedash saying as she was walking with Cynthia and her friends as she was thinking about something too. Then she was thinking that her parents are ok and looking around too.

Frost turned his head back at the group as he kept walking. "Somepony took Ivy and Dark right from under our muzzles." he said in a sped up tone. In the back of his mibd he was confused. "There is no reason for them to take Ivy and Dark. They don't have any political or military importa-" he thought as he stopped himself. "Unless they want Tempest, but why? He can handle himself...it makes no sense." he pondered as he burst through the palace doors and ran past the guards who saluted him as he past. "Sir!" they said in unison.

lightning and diamond followed frost "what would someone want with ivy and dark" he said as he walked beside frost, diamond walked beside Cynthia and firedash "what are we gonna do." she asked Cynthia and firedash, lightning just kept following frost i hope ivy and dark are okay, i would hate for dark's eggs to be damaged. he thought.

Frost ran through the doors of the library and looked for the ladder. He grabbed it and rolled to the back corner, climbed to the eleventh row, and grabbed a large book. He jumped down and put it on the table. "There has to be something here." he thought as he tryed to find something on Xena. "Nothing." he muttered as he sat back and looked at Cynthia. "What can you tell me about Xena?" he asked trying to build on his hunch that Xena was somehow involved.

Cynthia sighed. "Xena was a aura beast of immense power. He destroyed entire villages, but was defeated and hasn't been heard from since." She said. "Why do you ask?"

 

Tempest's dad smiled darkly and trotted towards Tempest. "Do you really think they care about you? They all fear you." He said.

 

The cyan pegesus growled as Xena started to become unsealed. "What are you talking about?" He asked.

 

Dark glanced at Tempest. "Don't listen to him. He's lying." She yelled.

 

Storm Caller smirked and fired a aura sphere at Dark. "Let's see your eggs Stan up to this, you pathetic dragon."

 

Tempest blocked the attack as two tails grew from behind him. "Don't you dare hurt her, or my grand kids." He said, his voice a mixture of his own and Xena's.

Frost looked up from the book at Cynthia and shook his head. "I don't know it just seems that with Tempest holding that kind of power somepony would want it for themselves, but there is nopony I know that could take it or know how for that matter." he said as he slumped back in the chair. "This is all very confusing," he thought quite angry with himself "Here I am, the advisor to an aura colony, and a CHILD is confirming my opinions." he thought gritting his teeth

"Well damn, thing just got interesting."  Rut-Light had followed Tempest and Orion to the giant mountain and was near the cave entrance where he could sense Tempest was in danger, as well as Dark.  As he climbed into the cave he just witnessed Tempest block an attack directed at Dark.  "Well, if it isn't King Sombra and Nightmare Moon...you know I hate you both."  He glanced at Tempest and said, "Go free Ivy and Dark, I'll buy you time."  He then turned his attention back to the others, "Besides, you both got destroyed so tell me..."  He got into a battle stance and spoke in a deformed tone of voice, "Why are you here?"  That last word was filled to the brim of hate: hate leads to anger and anger can cause fear to many.  He yelled his question one last time, "TELL ME!"  This upraise in tone nearly threatened to bring down the cave, and caused everyone to look on him in shock.

Cynthia glanced at Frost and nodded. "We have to find Tempest." She said. "He could be in danger"

 

Tempest glared at Rut and smirked. "I don't think so." He said.

 

Nightmare moon and Sombra simply glanced at Rut and smiled. "Many things can be done with dark magic." She said.

 

Storm Caller facehoofed, frustrated by Rut's unexpected appearance. "Sombra, Moon, take the runt. I have a few family matters to settle." He said.

 

Tempest growled as two tails sprouted form his body. "We are not family." He said, as two more tails, made of aura, formed from him. He teeth then sharpened, his eyes glowed red, and claws formed on his hooves.

 

Ivy groaned as she woke up. She then noticed Tempest.

 

Dark then felt a large contraction in her body and groaned. "No, not now." She thought.

Orion entered the cace and noticed Dark and Ivy, before braking the metal bars of the cage they were in. He then ran over to Dark and tried to comfort her. "Tempest, we got a problem. The eggs are coming." He said, slightly worried.

 

Clayton entered the library and glanced at Frost. "I heard about Tempest, and I'll help in anyway I can." He said. "I was also able to stop the news of Ivy and Dark's disappearance from causing complete turmoil."

Frost put his hooves together as he looked up at Clayton "Good, I need you to take Fireblaze and Lighting with you, if he is not avalible leave him." he said as he turned his chair to look at Cynthia. "Sending you out there is not the best idea, but you know more than I do. Go with Clayton to the armory and tell them I sent you. Arm your self with as much as you can carry, I dont want either you dying to day." he finished as he turned to Diamond and the others. " Diamond go take Canter and the others, go to my house, get Ember and bring her here. I would go with you put I must stay and assemble a defense plan if things get out of hoof." he said as one of the captains walked in. "You wanted to speak with me?" he asked. Frost nodded before he turned back to the group. "Go I will be here when you return." he said.

Then Fireblaze step out of his house and looking around. While Rainbow Dash following and thinking. "Something is not right love." Blaze saying

As the two approached him he just smirked like a mad man, "Hm...I don't think so!"  Suddenly Rut-Light was surrounded by flames with the immense amount of energy forcing everyone who dared get to close, back a few feet.  Forceful winds started to gather in the area as the fire engulfed him and started to spread everywhere, "I never liked your kind, said a voice from nowhere, it sounded menacing and almost psychotic, "I have the power to destroy worlds and you dare threaten me?!  You shall know pain this day!"  Suddenly a large burst of bright flaming fire erupted from the flaming mass, pushing all who weren't evil aside and sending them crashing into the cave wall, leaving large indents for each.  When the fire died and the flaming mass receded, the old 60 year old stallion had turned into the stuff of hell itself, Midnight Inferno.  "You guys better run, or there's a lot more in store for you!"

Ivy glanced at Rut and then back at Orion and Dark. "We have to get as far away as possible from the fight." She said. The silver unicorn then made her white aura surround her and the dragons, before they teleported away.

 

Tempest noticed that his family was gone and smiled. "At least they don't have to see me like this." He thought.

 

Storm Caller sighed and kicked Tempest in the side. "What a shame. I was looking forward to some omelets" He said.

 

Tempest growled as a fourth tail emerged. He then roared and started to form a ball of condensed aura in front of him.

 

Nightmare Moon and Sombra both recovred and fired bursts of magic at Rut.

 

Cynthia nodded and then sensed Tempest's power. "We may already be to late." She said, under her breath.

diamond looked at frost "okay lets go canter, i'll be back with ember in a few." she said as she ran out the door with canter and the rest, lightning looked at frost "anything to help tempest and ivy, where are we heading." he said as he stood next to Clayton and fireblaze.

As the ball stopped expanding, Tempest ate it, whole. His body then expanded like a balloon, as some aura spilled out of his mouth. He then fired a massive beam of aura, incinerating Nightmare Moon and Sombra.

 

Storm Caller simply smiled darkly. "I believe it's time to make my exit." He thought,before teleporting away, just as the beam was about to hit him.

 

Tempest simply laughed as his aura subsided and went back into his body. He then shrugged and flew out of the cave and into the air.

 

Ivy and the dragons appeared in a field, a few miles away from the fight. "We should be safe here. Now, let's get these eggs taken care of." She said, before helping Dark lay her eggs.
