planning Elements of Harmony DENIED

I just had a crazy idea...what if the main six DIDN'T have the elements of harmony? Something influences the timeline and forces things to happen alot different....perhaps the elements really were a myth, nightmare moon destroyed them upon awakening, or something happened in the past of the mane 6 to change their personalities enough to make them unworthy element barers. What would be the consequences of the villians not being vanquished immediately, could they be defeated still, and would other ponies rise to help fight them? For the sake of an interesting RP, we could explore all three. I don't think I can manage this...but I thought I would pass it on and see if it had some worth. One bright side is that we already have several story archs, with every major villian something goes wrong and they still rise, but the characters are without the original means of defeating them.
(No elements(NMM, discord, sunset shimmer), Cadance is never reunited with shining (changlings) Crystal heart is lost (sombra) etc.)

• If the Elements would not exist, then NMM would never be sealed away and the world would be destroyed due to eternal night. Either nothing would be there in the present, or maybe the world would be post-apocalyptic, with ponies who miraculously survived.
• Either that, or Celestia would kill NMM, but I heavily doubt she'll do that. If that's the case, then the events with NMM would never have occured in the present. Twilight would still live in Canterlot, and the Mane 6 would never team up and stuff.
• I think it has already been established that the Elements could not be destroyed, or something. I don't really know how it went.
• And if the Mane 6 would not have the right characteristics, then I don't think they would risk their own lives to help out Twilight. I'd go ahead and guess that Twilight would either not go, or go, but fail tremendously without help.

Anyhow, that's how I think these things would turn out. I might not be too accurate on things because I'm not normally very observant.

 

Also, what am I doing in the RP section? I never go to the RP section.

Try this out. Basically it's what your idea is, where the mane 6 don't have the personalities to be attributed to the elements. You might like to join and help out.
