ooc Need for Speed: Conquer All (MLP Edition)

Detrot, the third largest city in Equestria, known for it's industrial output and major population, is also home to some of the greatest street racing legends in all of Equestria. Names such as Golden Grind, Burnout, and Dust Streak, are very well known in that region. 

 

The DPF, or Detrot Police Force have tolerated these street racers...until now.

 

A evil gang is on the rise, threatening to conquer Detrot. 

 

Because of this, the DPF has turned on EVERY single street racer, including, the legends. 

 

Most of the street racers have been caught, jailed and their cars, sadly, destroyed. 

 

The goal of the still remaining street racers: take down the gang and save Detrot. Also, try to make the cops think that you are the good guys. 

 

If you've ever played the Need For Speed games, some of the basic rules from the game play in this RP

 

You'll be driving a car for the most part in this RP. 

 

First and foremost basic RP rules

 

1. No godmodding, powerplaying etc.

2. Keep swearing to a minimal. Too much and you're out

3. Ailcorns are welcome. 

4. No OP cars (i.e. wings, boat rotors etc). Rocket thrusters are ok and so are jump springs.

5. No guns or other weapons. 

 

Rules about driving

 

1. Try not to drive wrecklessly, as this will get the attention of the cops. 

2. In a hot pursuit, I play cops. if the cops catch you, you're out of the roleplay. No exceptions.

3. You CAN hit the cops and try to make them crash.

Okay. This is how it works. 

 

If you want to join this roleplay you must fill out a signup form, which is in the RP description, the first post on this thread. This thread here is a signup thread, meaning you signup here. Once we have enough RPers, we'll start. Not to confuse you but, although we only have five people (you're the 5th), well get started. So, once you sign up. I'll create the RP thread, which will be tagged with a green sign reading "open". This means that there are still spots to sign up. Once those spots are filled, I'll change the roleplay status tag to "private", meaning that only those who've signed can only access the roleplay. This thread will therefore become an "OOC" thread. OOC, means "out of context", not related to the roleplay. If you have any problems, post it in this thread. here. 

 

If you have any more questions, PM me, or ask a moderator for more help.

I'm sorry I ment to add that the only reason Frost is at the Rookie rank is due to the fact that he mostly joined to fix and upgrade the cars, but has an unatural talent for street racing. (Techno, modern, music lover of the group I guess you could say.) Just a little something I wanted to add....not really little but.....ok I'll shut up now.

Well, roleplays are certainly not a 1-day thing. It takes months even a couple years for a roleplay like this one to be done. And even after the main adventure is done, like in this case, this may become just a slice-of-life RP. Like Need For Speed: The Aftermath.

 

But if you have to leave, go do what you have to do. This roleplay will be waiting for you.

Do I need a car, or can Blast just run. He is super sonic.
