Whilst listening to Ceres babble her pet names of the plants from her greenhouse, Monkshood ears shot up as he got heard the shout from the bullhorn. He rolled his eyes, clearly frustrated with being shuffled around by the camp staff. Making a waving motion with one of his hoofs to try and tell Ceres to come on, wishing not to use words so as to not interrupt her. Turning to the building he slowly began trotting towards it.

Blazing didn't walk into the lodge yet, he was at least going to wait for Sunny. At least I'll have somepony to talk to throughout all of this... He thought. He really didn't want to do anything on his own, seeing as it would be incredibly boring that way. He would just talk to somepony else, but he didn't like anypony else he had seen.

"well i was double checking that i packed well anything for the camp but it looks like i have forgotten to" josh laughed "im a bit scatterbrained sometimes. fortunantly i know to to survive in wilderness so its not big that i forget things" he noticed that they.arrived at the camp "looks like we are here"

(Missed the time skip, sorry)

Fire looked around and smiled.

She picked up her bag and trotted after everypony out of the bus, looking back to politely wait for Josh at the door, as a loud horn could be heard coming form a colt outside a nearby building.

She looked out the bus door before looking back at Josh. "Come on, I think everyone's meeting in the lodge."

Inks walked quietly off the bus and followed everyone else, having not noticed if they were told where to go or not. He looked around at the other ponies, sizing them up, and they all seemed pretty friendly and extroverted. He sighed, realizing that an inevitable awkward conversation would happen between him and another pony at some point.

"Hey Parso, I'm Wish, Wish Scribe." The mare introduced herself politely - pleased to now know two names at least.

"I didn't see you there before. Pleased to meet you."

'Pelate, Parso... Is everypony's name going to start with 'P'?' She wondered idly as she spoke to the colt.

"its nice to meet you too, Wish"

Parso smiled at the mare talking to him

'well, i know at least one pony now'

he then heard the stallion from the mess hall and trotted in. he sat on one side of a grey colt ( @, )

he looked to the stallion to listen to what he had to say

Ceres' recollection of the names of her children was rudely interrupted by some barbarian stallion calling everyone into some building that could be remotely distinguished as a meeting hall of sorts.  Disgruntled at being interrupted, Ceres walked with Monkshood inside.  Once she got through the double-oak doors, she went over to the already occupied table and sat across from a grey pegasus who was sitting next to a white pegasus.  'I'll just expand my influence here for a moment...'  Ceres motioned for Monkshood to sit beside her, across from the white pegasus.

"Hi, my name's Ceres.  And this," Ceres pointed in Monkshood's direction, "is Monkshood.  We were just getting to know each other, and when the rude stallion blew that infernal horn I decided that I might as well meet some more ponies.  After all, the more the merrier right?"

Ceres grinned, masking the inner cycle of thought that her mind was taking.  "So what possessed you two to leave your current living situation and come to camp?"

Inks made his way inside and sat at a table by himself. He took a notebook and a pencil out of his backpack and used magic to sketch a picture. He was fond of his drawings and characters, but he thought of himself as decent at best. His real strong side came when he wrote the stories for these quickly sketched characters. He still didn't have a cutie mark, which often times embarrassed him slightly, but he felt like one day he would be graced with some type of quill on his flank. He continued to draw what looked like a bear and a stag standing next to eachother in a forest.

Parso spoke up, though feeling a little different because of his accent. what he said as a half-truth and he knew it, but he didn't want anypony untrustworthy to know of his dark past

"I'm from Sydneigh"

he pointed out to start a conversation

Sunny got off the bus but had a bit of trouble getting her suitcase out. It wasn't very big, just at an odd angle. She finally eased it out and turned,, looking around. She saw the stallion she had been talking to earlier - Blazing Hoof, if she remembered correctly.  He seemed to be waiting for somepony. He hadn't spoken to anypony else, so she could only assume it was herself. She trotted up next to him and gave him an apologetic smile, though they hadn't agreed on waiting on each other or anything.

"My bag decided to give me a bit of trouble," she said, waving a hoof at the bag behind her, held up in the air by a bright blue aura that also surrounded her horn.

"Err... would you like to... walk into the lodge with me?"

"Um... O-okay." Blazing said, suddenly getting nervous. Why now of all times? Why? He wondered. He had a tendency to do that when he was talking to mares, even if he was friends with them. He decided to just ignore it and hope for the best. Sunny's not going to care too much... Is she? He thought.

Sitting down in the room, Wish looked around: she had been separated from Pelate so she simply took the first available seat and waited for instruction.

'I wonder who I'll be staying with? Hopefully not some stuck up mare with a chip on her shoulder...' She thought, allowing herself a silent smile at her own 'wit'.

The stallion who calld the ponies in speaks "ok every pony listen up! Welcome to camp Equestria!" He says in a bubbly energetic voice. "Alright I'll send you to your cabins after I tell you our rules here. First, no going into an opposite genders cabin" "second, no fights, and be respectful of other ponies please. Third, no vandalizing our property, we spend a lot of bit on this stuff to give you a full and fun experience. Also we don't want you to be swimming around the waterfall unsupervised, or at least be in a party of 2." He continues with more common simple rules then finishes "alright start heading for your cabins" (cabin groups are in the first post.)

Pelate:

I get up and grab my luggage and look at the nap of the camp and i head down to my cabin.

"Cabins are split up by genders? Buck..." Blazing said to himself. He just lost his one shot at being left alone with his only friend for the time he was here. "Now I have to get stuck with a bunch of ponies I'm gonna hate, isn't that just perfect?" He wondered out loud, annoyed at how the cabins were divided. After that, he stomped off to his cabin, not saying anything else.

Ceres smiled at the white pegasus, "I'm from Canterlot."

The stallion announcer interrupted, and the grey pegasus simply got up and left.  Ceres crossed her fore-hooves and let out a frustrated growl, "I guess someponies are rude and insensitive!  Don't think I'll forget this..."

Ceres gave the grey stallion a death-glare as he exited the hall.  Turning her attention back to Monkshood and the white stallion, she smiled apologetically.  "Well gentlecolts, I will see you around I suppose.  I should probably go find who I'll be rooming with and be sure to get the best bunk!"

Ceres got up and stepped close to Monkshood, whispering in his ear.  "I'll see you soon enough, maybe we can get together when dinner comes around."

Letting her words stand on their own, Ceres walked out of the lodge.  She grabbed her luggage and trotted off to her own cabin.  She made her way through the encampment, noticing several buildings of various purpose, and eventually got to the cabin area.

"Cabin number four... here you are!"  Ceres stopped for a moment outside of the cabin, looking back.  'Huh, only four cabins.  What happened to cabin number three?  Did it get burned down or something?'  Shrugging, Ceres decided to look into it later and entered her own cabin.  Inside were three beds and three dressers, each one on the right side of the cabin, with a pathway on the left.  Ceres placed her stuff down next to the bed closest to the door, taking a seat on top of the bed while she waited for her cabin mates to show up.

'Waterfall? First chance I get, I know exactly what I'm doing...'

Wish felt a smile flicker across her face but quickly shook it off - there would be plenty of time for exploring and the like later: for now, she needed to find her cabin.

Since she hadn't spoken with any of the other mares, she simply stood and set off - not knowing who might be in the same cabin as her. The first she saw was when she found her way to the right place and stepped inside.

"Hey!" She said in the cheeriest voice she could manage to the earth mare already inside as she dropped her belongings at the bed at the far side of the room. "I'm Wish, I guess we're bunking together for a while."

A light grey earth pony with blue hair walked in, greeting Ceres.  Ceres looked up at her and smiled warmly.  'Pretty mare...'  Normally Ceres didn't care for too many ponies, but she was going to be bunking with this mare.  The added benefit that the mare was pretty attractive never hurt, Ceres went both ways and kept her options open.  "Hi!  I'm Ceres, I look forward to it!"

Ceres then looked over Wish thoroughly, lingering on her cutie mark before returning to her amethyst eyes.  "So what brings you to camp?  Anything you plan on doing yet?  I hear they have a waterfall, that could be fun..."

Sunny hadn't noticed his nervousness, and had sat beside him when they went in.

Now, she heard him thinking out loud, and couldn't help but feel bad as she watched him storm off. She got up and left not long after.

"Let's see... Cabin 1, Cabin 2... There's no Cabin 3? Odd... 4... Ah! Cabin Number 5!" she said out loud, and as she entered, she saw she was the first one in, so she got to choose her bed.

She chose the bed by the window. Coincidentally enough, *Sunny* Dew loved waking up to the work of the Solar Princess shining down on her face. She set her bag by her bunk and looked around, waiting for the others.

"Please to meet you Ceres." Wish nodded happily, double checking everything she had packed was still accounted for before looking up and responding more thoroughly.

"Well, I always meant to come at least once and I finally got around to it... nothing much more to it than that really." She shrugged, looking over the dark pony curiously - against her own, the mares charcoal coat was quite the contrast, and her eyes stood out brilliantly against it. "Yeah I heard about that... I didn't really have a plan but that sounds like a fun place to explore!"

Inks looked around after finding out his cabin number. He knew it didn't really matter since he didn't know what his cabin mates looked like, but he wasn't sure what else to do. Monkshood and Shining Midnight. Monkshood was an odd name, not something Inks had ever heard before. Sighing, Inks stood awkwardly to the side of everypony.

Ceres grinned, a spark in her golden yellow eyes.  Wish appeared to be the happy, bubbly type.  At least, from what Ceres could tell so far.  There were a lot of variables at the moment, but nothing seemed to suggest a hidden agenda.  "Well, I was hoping to go and visit the waterfall tonight.  You game?  It could be fun.  After all, we're here so we might as well make the most of it!"

"Yeah sure thing!" Wish answered - she had been planning on it anyway, maybe it would be more fun with Ceres. "I'd like that, we'll head down in a little while if you want?"

Things were going better than expected: she had met two ponies she seemed to get along with and already had a plan on her first day. Maybe this wasn't such a waste of time after all?

'Just try not to do anything stupid!' Her mind reminded her.

"Sure, I'd love to.  We should probably wait and see who else is in the cabin with us though."  Ceres motioned to the empty bed in between them.  "In the meantime why don't you tell me a bit about yourself?  What do you do for a living?  Where are you from?"

Ceres smiled as she walked over to Wish, measuring her pacing so that she approached in a non-threatening way.  She stopped when she was just inside of Wish's 'bubble'.  This was a perfect tactic that Ceres used on new ponies when she got the chance, she wanted to see how Wish would react to somepony getting just close enough to be considered in their personal space, but not close enough to be considered an intimate advance.  'Here's where the fun begins.  Will you back away or stay where you are I wonder?'

"Well..." The Mare looked up again from tucking her bags away under the bed.

'Isn't she going to unpack? Can't she hear me from over there or something?'

Pushing the thought aside, Wish simply sat where she was, kicking at the edge of one of the bags that was still sticking out somewhat from under the bed. "... not a lot really. My family owns a farm just outside Trottingham but I'm leaving to go travel when I get home - I need... I want to go explore."

She didn't really understand why she always stalled: it wasn't exactly anything she needed to keep secret - looking for her missing brother - it just seemed... private.

Sprawling forwards across the bed with a grin, she propped herself idly up on a foreleg. "What about you?"

Ceres grinned, edging a little closer as she took a seat on the floor next to Wish's bed. 'Interesting, she's not bothered by this distance.  Good.'  Ceres had noticed the hesitation and quick change in Wish's speech.  Deciding it would be best to leave it alone for now, Ceres instead focused on getting to know more about Wish that she was comfortable telling her.  There was no need to rush, Ceres had plenty of time to break down Wish's barriers if she so chose.

"Trottingham huh? I've heard good things about that place."  Ceres kept her gaze on Wish's face, careful to monitor how forward she was being.  One mis-step and this could be a very awkward camping trip if Ceres didn't play her cards right. "I'm a researcher at Canterlot's Agricultural Research Facility.  Which means that I breed plants to be better in some way than they were before.  Your parents probably have bought the seeds we produce, we make things like the bug resistant corn that was released a few years ago.  I've always lived in Canterlot, and to be honest, this is my first time out of the city."
