Are you my Clarity?

Like I said, I ship so hard it hurts .3.

I was listening to the song while making this.

Took around 15-20 minutes. Maybe 25.

And please, please, PLEASE don't ask about the eyes! It is a new style I am trying out.

So

ENJOY!

I think I saw something similar to this once. And not just swirling around in my toile-

*sighs*

Good work. I recommend curtailing the outer edgers of the ponies' outlines in a darker hue of whatever occupies it. Like hug the black line under the brown pony's, erm, head where it connects to the neck. Hug it with a thick bar of a darker saturation of brown. This will add shadow and thus establish a sense of depth.

Don't be afraid to draw dark lines over some of FiM pony's usual facial features, such as the little crescent inside the ear, also there to establish depth and make it appear a little more concaved.

Your ponies need pupils. You need to be a pupil to someone else.

But all in all, good job. I certainly could not do any better (in MSPaint). Keep working on it. 15-25 minutes? You're a fast worker.

Maybe you can create a rugged and brutally sarcastic pony for me some time. I'm interested to see what you can do with a little more guidance.

Omg, I forgot the pupils. I make different kind of pupils now, though. You will see in the future.

I draw much much better on paper then the computer.

I forgot the lines in the ears.

Similar picture, really? :o Never knew XD

*Edit* Or was that a rude joke? :okiedokielokie:

to the op

i suck wet noodles at anything as far as digital art other than vectors but i do know my way around a pencil! if im right it looks like you are the more simplistic eyes kinda like the chibi ponies. i personally dig this style but it can be very difficult to "give direction" with light shines and glare marks (i call them eye boobles :P ). it looks like you nailed it though and thats not easy to do of the top of your head.

as far as advice goes i would also suggest drawing from reference but not on the computer, draw on paper! it looks way cooler and its so much easier to manipulate the lines and shading, then transfer to the comp and trace it out! i would love to see what you could do with more time dedicated to this! you have the drive and the correct mind set to do this kind of art, why not go for it! i typically spend 5 hours per drawing with all the changes i make and shading, and with your love of shipping i know you have some great ideas in your head, and i want to see them! keep at it! feel free to pm me if you need any help or advice, my door is always open.

That is adorable! And I was going to ask about the eyes - how did you get them to look so amazingly pretty! Uh, you might want pupils, though.

Ya, I am planning to add pupils XD. After a while, I was like 'Forgot the pupils!' I do a different type of pupils, sooooo ya XD. Anyways, thanks!

And, I just.... draw XD I also just add the blur affect, maybe a little of the sponge affect, and then highlight.

I use pixlr.com It is so awesome and like photoshop! :D
