Pinkamena had been tearing down more bookshelves when Marisa had called over to her that she found the last switch and found the safe. She walked over to where Marisa was and looked at the safe, trying to think of a way to get it to open. "Well, it's worth a shot." She said as she tried to turn the handle.

"Move I have an idea" Marisa said as she pointe her Hakkyo. "Channel the energy, Whisper the phrase to the catalyst, point at the item you hate...." Marisa took a deep breath before shouting instead of whispering. "MASTER SPARK" She fired a huge beam at the safe and stopped it as the safe opened as there was two scythes and a broom. "Well theres your guys weapon and my broom" Marisa said

Pinkamena got out tof Marisa's way and was completely surprised when She fired a large beam at the safe, causing it to open. She looked inside it and saw her and Equinox's scythe, and a broom. She grabbed her stuff and looked at Marisa. "A broom?" She asked.

"You think fighting enemies that can fly on the ground is fun...nope I use a broom to fly...plus its easier to fight them anyways" Marisa said.

 

Meanwhile Equinox was heading towards the armory and sighed when he took out the two daggers that had a element on them. "She won't mind if I use these two for a bit will she" Equinox asked himself

"I guess, but a broom of all things to enchant to fly, I will never understand that." Pinkamena said to Marisa. "We should probably go and meet up with Equinox now." She added as she started to walk away from the safe and head towards the exit of the library.

"Well it was the first thing I saw plus it's easier to keep balance on when I am flying" Marisa said as she stopped when she heard screams. "Um...Equinox doesn't have a tendency to just kill...does he?" Marisa asked

 

 

 

Meanwhile Equinox had just silenced a maid bu turning her to stone before reaching the armory. "Finally" Equinox said

"Well, I guess if it works for you, I have no problem with it. It's just... Odd." Pinkamena said as she stopped and heard the screams as well. "Uhh... Shit. He does and it's been slowly getting worse." She said to Marisa. "Let's hurry." She added as she began to run towards where the screams came from.

Maris went ahead and stopped when she saw a statue. "Holy lord he has the head of medusa...WHEN THE HELL DID HE GET THAT" Marisa said before noticing a ice like dagger in the statue. "Hey isn't that the dumb fairy Cirnos dagger" Marisa asked.

Pinkamena ran up behind Marisa and saw the statue of a maid. "That must've been Equinox. And it was Cirno's, she gave it to me." She said as she took the handle of the ice dagger and yanked it out of the frozen maid, leaving a hole where the blade was. "Seeing as how he found my stuff, he must be heading towards the armory." She added.

Another scream was heard but was stopped as Equinox turned the maid to stone before continuing onward. "How many maid does this castle even have...I'm surprised Sakuya even got hired here" Equinox said as he finally found the armory and went in. "Now where are my weapons at" Equinox said

Pinkamena looked down the corridor when she heard another scream coming from that direction. "That one was nearby. Let's go." Pinkamena said as she ran off in the direction of the scream. As she ran down the corridor into another, she ran into another statue of a maid, except this one was made of stone. "Must have used the stonetouch dagger." She said as she looked at the statue.

Equinox arrived at the armory and grabbed the two katanas and the gun, Zalgressa weapon, gauntlets, and others. "I see so you did escape" A voice said and it was Sakuya. "Yeah I did...this time though..." Equinox threw the two red and blue blades and the shadow hands grabbed them before he himself drew out the two katanas. "I'm ready"

After she lokked over the statue, Pinkamena tipped it over, causing it to break into large pieces. "Come on, let's get to the armory." She said to Marisa as she started to head down the corridor. Rounding a corner, the armory door was now in sight and she ran up to it. Trying to open it, she found that it was locked. "Dammit, it's locked."

Equinox stared at Sakuya before she walked over to him. "I was going to offer you to work here so you wouldn't have to be sent to die or anything but you are quite stubborn....you would have been a better guard then Meiling but I guess now we will never see" Sakuya said.

Pinkamena stared at the door and thought for a little bit. She had tried to pick the locked, but didn't work. She then tried to break the handle open with her collapsed scythe, and that didn't work either. "Hmm... Marisa, you wanna do that thing again that you used on that safe?" She asked.

"There should be no problem doing that" Marisa said as she poited the device at the door. "MASTER SPARK" Marisa fired a huge colorful spark blowing the door to bit to show a secene. Equinox had Sakuya in his hands slowly crushing her before slamming her to the ground. "I'll make sure your organs get set to you mistress" Equinox said

Pinkamena stepped back and let Marisa blast down the door with her beam. After the blast, she went inside to find Equinox throwing Sakuya to the floor. "Good, you beat her and got all of our stuff. Now let's get the he'll outta Dodge." She said as she smirked. "Now, would the portal back still be in the throne room?" She asked.

"I'm going to do more then just beat her" Equinox said holding Sakuya by her arms before looking at Pinkamena and looked away. Equinox slowly disected the maid as she screamed in agony. "Just deal with the pain...it will be over after you beg for mercy" Equinox said as he played with her as she was a little doll. Equinox smiled before stitching Sakuya back together before black thread connected to her. "She can be my puppet..." Equinox said

Pinkamena watched as Equinox tore Sakuya apart and stitched her back together as a puppet. Pinkamena was becoming a bit unsettled. Watching Equinox, she noticed that he had become more sadistic, violent, and rash since she had first actually gotten to know him. "Equinox... You've done enough. Put her down and let's go home." She said to him.

"Why should I exactly...after all" Equinox looked at Pinkamena. "Ponies change for the better or worse don't they" Equinox said before dropping Sakuya on the ground. "Let's go...I'm sick of this world...no need to stay for any longer then need be" Equinox said as he left Sakuya body on the ground.

Pinkamena was utterly shocked and taken back by what Equinox had said to her. She turned to face him and stayed standing in place with a serious look on he face. "Equinox, what's happening to you. You're not you anymore." She sternly said to Equinox as he was leaving.

"This secret side of...I never wanted you to see it. I keep it caged but I am starting to lose control soon.It's scratching on the walls...in the darkest part of my head and I just can't contain it." Equinox looked at Pinkamena sadly. "I feel it deep within, it's underneath my skin....I must confess that I feel like a monster"

Pinkamena looked sympatheticly at Equinox. "Let's just please get home in one piece." She said as her eyes began to become glossy as they began to water up. "I just want to get back."

"Go Pinkamena...The portal is right there" Equinox said as a portal appeared. "Pinkamena...Do you think I can control this monster in me...or do you think I should just die" Equinox asked before turning to see Sakuya getting up and disappearing. "Good bye Marisa..." Equinox said

"I never want you to die." Pinkamena said to Equinox as she went up and embraced him. She then pulled him towards the portal. "Goodbye Marisa. Thank you for the help." She said to Marisa as she pulled herself and Equinox through the portal to home.
