Equinox looked at Pinkamena before looking at Marisa. "Good bye Marisa..." Equinox said before he went through the portal with Pinkamena. "Hopefully we head home..." Equinox muttered to himself.

Pinkamena felt a sensation of euphoria when she went through the portal. When she came through the other side, she was upside down and about five feet off the ground. Pinkamena felt gravity kick in and she fell to the floor. "Owww" She said as she landed. She opened her eyes and looked around. It was dark, but she could make out familiar objects around her. "Equinox, we're home."

"Good to know...." Equinox said as he was on the floor.as he got up. "I'm glad to be home finally instead of being it that other world...everyone wanted to kill me...and I done something I thought I would never do" Equinox said as he took the pendant out again and looked at it.

"Well, we're home now, so everything should be okay now." Pinkamena said as she got up and looked over at Equinox who was looking at a pendant. "We should have that thing looked at tomorrow. But first things first, I am taking a showere to clean myself of all the mud and blood caked on me." She said as she walked upstairs to the bathroom.

"Alright" Equinox said as he put the pendant away. Equinox looked outside and sighed before holding his head. "I can't believe I let that happen...The one time I didn't want it to happen it happened" Equinox said as he stood up. "At least it's over" Equinox said

Before she walked into the bathroom, Pinkamena poked her head into Scootaloo's and Selene's rooms. She smiled when she saw that they were both fast asleep. She then walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower. She looked at herself in the mirror and sighed. She then stepped into the shower and began to wash herself off.

Equinox sighed and he looked at his hands. "In a bloody monster..." He said as he looked up at the ceiling. "May the gods have mercy on me...for all that I have done..." Equinox sighed. "I was no better then Arachnid...no better then Chrysalis...all I am is a monster" Equinox muttered to himself

Pinkamena just stood in the shower, her head up against the wall, letting the spray of the shower just run down her body, washing out all the stuff in her coat. As she stood there in the shower, her worries began to take hold and her eyes began to well up with tears which then began to run down her face.

Equinox sighed. "I wonder why I even did that...it was horrible..." Equinox said before hearing a knock on the door. "Who the hell could that be" Equinox said opening the door and saw Twilight. "Twilight what do you want" Equinox asked. "Well you haven't been in the house for 3 weeks so I been checking back often and now y-...Whats wrong Equinox" Twilight asked noticing that Equinox looked Depressed.

Pinkamena shut the water off and watched all the water run down the drain. She then stepped out of the shower and toweled herself off. Opening the door to the bathroom, she heard knocking coming from downstairs. As she went to see who it was, she heard Equinox answer the door and then heard Twilight's voice. Coming down the stairs, Pinkamena walked over to them. "Hello Twilight."

"Hi Pinkamena" Twilight said before asking Equinox again with what was wrong. "Nothing is wrong Twilight we just finished something for the princesses and had to deal with a second problem" Equinox said. "Equinox...you're lying" Twilight said. "What happened while you were gone" Twilight asked again

"You are lying, Equinox. Why won't you say anything?" Pinkamena asked Equinox with a tone of worry in her voice. She walked up to him and looked him straight in the eye. "Please just tell us." She pleaded to him. She wanted him to say something, anything to help him become himself again.

"Why should I say...I almost killed someone...all because I had the power to do so...I could have turned her into a puppet and used her to kill her mistress...I almost lost control" Equinox said. "The problem is that I am loosing control of my own magic...it is taking me over and its making me do things I never would do:"

Pinkamena smiled when Equinox had finally said something. She went up and ambraced him. "Was that so hard to say." She said happily. As she let go. "Is there any way you think you can help him with his mental state?" she turned to Twilight and asked.

"I'm not sure if anypony can help him actually...his magic is taking him over because he is letting it loose more often then he should..." Twilight said. "Equinox how long did you let you magic run freely..." Twilight asked. "I don't know..." Equinox said. "I think it was 3 hours" He said.

All this talk about magic being let loose was just flying by her head as she understood nothhing of what was being talked about. "Are you sure nopony can help him? What about the princesses or, I can't believe I am about to say this, Deranged? Someone who literally was a part of him." She continued to ask Twilight, hoping for an answer that would end well.

"Letting you magic loose is something dangerous and can lead to very bad consequences...With Equinox it ends up degrading his sanity...soon it could end up killing him" Twilight said. "It's my fault anyways...I always relied on using my magic to fight...hell I even relied on Deranged but when I couldn't use him...I unleashed my magic to let it run more freely and break us out from the demons..."

"Well, he's home now. So, he won't have to use his magic like that anymore. Won't that fix it then?" Pinkamena asked Twilight. "Or, if possible, someone else can help regulate his magic back to a normal state, if that is possible." She quickly added. She honestly didn't know if that was actually possible, but it was worth the shot.

​"I'm afraid it won't work like that but there is one way to stop it" Twilight said. "Well what is it then" Equinox asked. "You are going to have to deplete every last bit of magic you have...this is dangerous because if you do that you might lose consciousness again and go into another coma" Twilight said

Pinkamena was unsure on how to answer to this. The idea sounded like a good one, but he could end up in a coma. But on the other side, his magic could go rampant and kill him. She was just so confused on what to do, she turned to Equinox. "What do you want to do?" She asked him.

"Hm...I guess it would be best...unless I do this I end up dying..." Equinox said as he looked at Pinkamena. "Fine...I'll deplete all of my magic out" Equinox said. "Alright then...follow me and we will get started with doing so" Twilight said as Equinox followed her. "Can't believe this"

"I'm coming along too." Pinkamena said as she went and followed behind Twilight and Equinox. "How do you drain someone completely of there magic? Wouldn't something like that be forbidden magic or something?" She asked Twilight as they were walking, still completely out of the loop on how magic works.

"That is one way to do it but there is another way" Twilight said as she made a clear sphere appear. " He is going to fire whey ounce of magic at this and it will absorb it all" Twilight said as they got to a clearing. Twilight set the orb on the ground. "Alright Equinox...you ready" Twilight asked. " Yes I'm ready..." Equinox said

"Another way?" Pinkamena asked as Twilight then made a clear orb appear. Twilight explained what was going to be done and Pinkamena was a little relieved that all he had to do was that. But, asw far as she knew, it could still be extremely dangerous. She stood there and watched on as she waited for Equinox.

Equinoxes horn started to glow and spark before he released all of his magic and the orb absorbed it all. This went on for a while till Equinox collapsed onto the ground. "It's done" Twilight said before taking the orb which was now radiating a dark aura. "Wow...this is...a lot of dark magic" Twilight said
