Pinkamena watched on as Equinox drained his magic into the orb. After what seemed like forever, Equinox stopped and collapsed on the ground. She quickly rushed over to Equinox to check if he was okay. "Equinox, are you okay?" She asked, looking directly into his face.

Equinox eyes were closed as he was still breathin. It seemed as if he was asleep as his chest slowly raised and fell. "Well...as I said he would fall into a coma...at least nothing bad happened or nothing worst happened either." Twilight said as she looked at the orb. "How much magic can this unicorn have..." Twilight asked herself

Pinkamena was relieved when Twilight said Equinox would be okay. Well, as close to okay as the situation allows. She grabbed Equinox by the hoof and slung him up onto her back. "Thank you Twilight. I'm going to go put him to bed." She said to Twilight as she starting walking towards home.

"Alright... bye Pinkamena" Twilight said as she took the orb back to her treehouse. "I can't believe he would have all this energy...all of it was dark magic...something that is hard to control...unicorn magic is simple but this darker magic is more complex" Twilight said as she studied the orb

Pinkamena carried Equinox back to Sugarcube Corner and brought him inside. She carried him up to his room and laid him in his bed and put the covers on him. She looked at him for a while and smiled, even though she was fight the urge for tears to come up. She gave him a kiss on the forehead and went to her room, where she crawled into her own bed and passed out as soon as her head hit the pillow.

Selene woke up after hearing hoof steps and decided to head up to Equinoxes room once he heard Pinkamenas door close. When he went in he saw Equinox asleep. "He'll wake up tomorrow and I'll ask him" Selene said heading back to his room before falling asleep

Pinkamena woke up and looked around. She was happy that she was finally able to get a good rest. She crawled out of bed and went to check up on Equinox. She opened his door and peered in to see him still in his bed. 'He must still be exhausted.' She thought as she quietly shut the door and headed downstairs and into the kitchen. She opened a cupboard and grabbed a cup. She then walked over to the sink and filled it with water to drink.

Selene soon woke up and went to Equinoxes room and went in before shaking him. "Equinox wake up" No answer. "Equinox...come wake up it's time to wake up" Slene shook him before giving up and heading downstairs. "Pinkamena why is Equinox asleep still? He won't wake up" Selene asked.

 

Earlier in the night Twilight was studying the orb as Deranged tried to talk her out of using it. "Twilight I'm serious even though you are all that powerful you can't control all of this...stop studying it and get rid of it" Deranged asked before Twilight pushed him away. "I really don't need to listen to your warning I know what I am doing" Twilight said as she starting extracting the magic a bit at a time. "It's odd how he is able to mold it into different shapes and sizes and use it as a weapon" Twilight said

Pinkamena saw Selene come downstairs and ask about Equinox. "He is probably still exhausted. Last night, he drained his magic as he had too much. So at the moment, he has no magic in him." Pinkamena replied calmly, but inside, she felt a bit worried about Equinox not waking up.

"Oh...so he will be up soon then" Selene said. "It's strage though it seems as if he was in a very deep sleep...like he wouldn't wake up he didn't even budge" Selene said before sitting at  the table. "Why would Equinox need to empty out all his magic anyways" Selene asked

Pinkamena smiled at Selene. "I just told you silly. He had too much magic built up inside of him which was causing him to get sick. So we asked Twilight to help and she had him drain out all of his magic so he would become healthy again." She answered Selene.

"Okay...am I still grounded?" Selene asked before he looked at the ground. "It has been a really long time since I have been grounded also" Selene said before looking up at the ceiling. "Well at least he is okay.." Selene said before he headed back up to his room.

Pinkamena gently smiled as Selene walked  back to his room. "I guess it would really be up to Equinox, but I'll let him off tomorrow." She said to herself after Selene was all the way upstairs. She then began to wonder what had all happened while they were away. What was it that Twilight said, three weeks? So much time had passed, yet it felt like only a day has gone by.

"Three weeks they have been gone...and Equinox releases his power into that orb and now Twilight is trying to control it" Deranged said to himself before heading outside. "I can't believe this...if she tries to control that damn power she will end up killing her self...Equinox almost had himself killed because of it" Derangedvsaid

Pinkamena got up from the table and went upstairs to check on Equinox. When she peeked into the room, she saw he hadn't moved from the spot, but he was still breathing, which put hope into her. She went back downstairs and started heading out the door to go to Twilight's.

Deranged was standing in front of the door to Twilights place with his eyes closed. "That orb need to be taken away from her before she tries something crazy and end up hurting herself" Deranged said to himself before seeing Pinkamena. "Hey Pinkamena where have you been" Deranged asked

As Pinkamena was walking up to Twilight's house, she saw Deranged at the front door and then greet her. "Hello Deranged. I've been at home." She answered him. "Why are you out here in front of the door? Twilight lock you out or something?" She asked playfully and smiled.

'I left the house...ever since she got that orb she has been studying it for hours on end...she didn't even sleep last night...and where the he'll is Equinox" Deranged said. "I swear if she even tries to control that power I may need to help her..." Deranged said feeling as though he had lost a battle or something.

Pinkamena's playful tone went away when she heard Deranged speak. "Equinox. Ever since he drained that magic he had, he has been unconscious. I laid him in his bed and am now waiting for him to wake up." She said. "And if that orb is so dangerous, why don't you just take it away from her?" She asked him

"I tried to and got promptly zapped by a thousand volts...by the orb" Deranged said. "Yet she is able to touch it with no problem" Deranged added. " What do you mean he is unconscious...after draining his magic...did he do something that called for that" He asked

"He's unresponsive to any physical touch, but he is still breathing normally. It happened after Twilight had him drain his magic into that orb that she has because his magic was starting to grow wild and become violent." Pinkamena said to Deranged. "I'm hoping he'll wake up soon."

Deranged looked at Pinkamena. " What do you mean violent and wild...what did Equinox do..." Deranged sighed. "I swear Equinox has gotten more rash since after that book incident..." Deranged said. Deranged looked back at the house. "In glad she helped you and all but please next time call me I know Equinox inside and out since I was pretty much his subconscious most his life"

"In the other world we got thrown in to, he was extremely rash and was extremely quick to try and kill everything. I even had to stop him once myself." Pinkamena said dismally. "And actually, if you could, would you take a look at him right now? If there was something wrong, you would be the one to find it." She asked.

"If he has drained all his magic he is in a coma...I thought Twilight told you this before Equinox drained his magic" Deranged said as he sighed. " Equinox is out for who knows how long...so unless you want me to wake him up and possibly damage his mental stability then I'll go ahead and wake him" Deranged said

"No. No. No. I just want you to check him over. I don't want you to wake him if it would harm him." Pinkamena was quick to correct herself. "Since you are, or were, a part of him and that you are able to connect with him, I just wanted to see if draining his magic had actually worked." She added.
