Are you speaking on behalf of actually including a battle segment rather than just a cutscene? If you are then I don't really think it would have affected much because if Fox would have defeated General Scales then the Krazoa spirit would probably leave his body and Fox would obtain it that way. Then on his way to go rescue Krystal he would run into Andross and you know what happens next. This is all an assumption of course if instead they included a battle element to it. To put it more simply you could have a fight scene then after it's over, the cutscene with Andross would just play and the story would continue that way.

It would have been better than making it look like there was going to be a fight then immediately cutting to a scene. If they had just done ONLY a scene that would have been fine too but the way they did it made it look like the climactic finale but it didn't turn out that way.

Huh. Well I got one in videogames and in movies to share.

First, I'm gonna say the Reapers in Mass Effect.

In ME1 Sovereign got my skin crawling with that dialogue. Ok. I killed Saren, but It felt like fighting Sovereign in a way because defeating him made the reaper's shields drop.

Then in ME2 Harbinger makes all those threats, he makes that monologue in the end, and I killed the reaper larva.

Then came ME3. Damn... This is it. The end of 100+ hours of gameplay. I got all my buddies with me. And we're gonna kick some reaper ass. Then all I got was a QTE with the Illusive Man being the greatest loser (what a waste) and then I got to end the game by... Walking, using a piece of the scenario or shooting a pipe. The closest to a boss this game had were the banshees during the fight while EDI was doing the targeting on the Thanix missiles. Disappointing. Even the Citadel DLC, that silly DLC, had something that felt like a boss fight.

In the first two games the reapers are something absurdly powerful and they are coming to screw up the whole galaxy's day. In the third game, they are like the annoying versions of the machines from War of the Worlds...

And this brings me to my underwhelming villain in movies. The aliens from War of the Worlds... I guess they don't have bacteria and viruses in their world... I understand this is from a book actually, but you guys get my meaning.

For dumb, self-important fics about mythology, ponies and fascist griffons that can't figure friendship out.

And I'm just getting started.

Killer Croc was a pretty evil villain, who eats his prey when he gets the chance. That is until, they made him a laughing stock in the TV shows where he never plans a strategy.

Of course, NOBODY was laughing at ^THAT^ version of him...at least not until he said, "YOU CAN'T RUN FROM ME!!!" immediately before the game instructed you to "hold X to run."

P.S.- It was a BIG rock...

To be fair to, though, the Croc that said the "It was a big rock" was

None other than the Bat himself

So, in that portrayal, Croc acting that way was what Batman thought of him.
