dragons population has risen to the point where they need more land aadn equstrisia is the land the want, the dragons have been attcking equstria and stealing anything they want luna sent out a speiallized team to kill the leader of the dragons ,his name is shadow heart, but they were killed and only there leader firesharp remains...

"fire sharp you mst get a new team i ahev sected ponies that will be of great use to you in your misson to kill shodow heart first you must find stained steel the rest are on this list" luna says while usoing her magic to give firesharp teh list"

Fire Took the list of the princess, bowing while it hovered in the air by her magic.

"Thank you Princess, I will find these new ponies. And maybe this time around we can win."

Fire Looked back at the princess, with tears slightly showing in her eyes. Another team lost, another family gone. The toll of death was always going to get to her back she wasn't in the military for no reason.

She walked away from the princess, remembering to bow just before she left. She was raised proper and knew how to act polite.

Fire had already left the room but she heard a muffled noise from the room. She didn't want to go back to the princess and if anything she was just probably just wishing her well. 

Fire went back to the room that she was staying in at the castle and got changed out of her uniform. She loved her military uniform but she was going to go into among civilians and they were sometimes frightened by the uniform. She put on one of her jackets that complimented her coat nicely and went out.

She looked at the list, they had the names and some of them had locations of where they could be. 

 

Fire was walking along in the square, she had the list in her pocket and she was looking for a pub that apparently a pony was always seen at. She wished that she actually went to pubs more, but also a map would have been nice. She was looking around to see if she could find it and she couldn't, she looked around again and she gave up. She was going to have to ask somepony.

Fire went up to a stallion, and tapped him on the shoulder.

"Hello, sorry but I'm looking for someplace. Can you just point me to where it is?"

Code's day was just getting worse and worse. 'Could today get any worse?! First, I get stuck on patrol duty because I lost a bet. Then I get yelled at for not wearing my helmet, again. Finally, I get laughed at by a group of mares when I ran into a sign! I wish my luck would turn around.' He thought. He then felt a tap on his shoulder and turned around to see a mare looking at him. He quickly eyed her down and up. 'Speak of the devil. It turned around.' He listened to what she asked and replied. "Sure, I can most certainly help you out. Where is the place you are looking for?" He asked nicely.

Fire smiled at the grey stallion, it was nice that the fella was helping her and she was glad that he did.

 

"I'm looking for a pub, someone told me to go there but of course they didn't tell me the name. I haven't been in pub in ages and I have totally forgotten where I could find one. I really need the help."

 

Fire Talked a lot more casual than usual but she thought that would be easier on her, she also needed to find somepony here as well but she thought that she could go to the pub first. She wished that the list had descriptions too, that would've been nice. But she was thankful that she at least got a hint of where they could be.

'Alright, she smiled. That's a good start. You can do this. Work your magic.'

 

"Now, what's a pretty mare like you want with a place like that?" Code replied. 'No! Why did I use such a cliché line?! "Those places are just full of thugs and ne'er-do-wells. But if you absolutely need to know, I'll show you." He looked around to see exactly where he was at. "Okay. The Clipped Feather is this way, the Tanked Flank is that way, and the Devil's Pub is down the street about a block or two." He replied to the mare. 'I am going to follow her around. This seems weird.'

Fire giggled at the stallion using such a cliched line. Guess he was trying though.

"I kinda do need to know, special business and all that. I believe that The devils Pub would be the most likely candidate for finding a thug."

Fire Sharp shooked her head, of course she had to find a thug for this. She rather not but she needed to do what the Princess wanted and she gave her the list.

"I'm meant to looking for several ponies that are in the area, thought I would start with a pub. I haven't had a drink in a while."

Code saw that the mare giggled. 'Did my line actually work?!'

 

"The Devil's Pub eh?" He replied. He knew that's where the worst thugs and criminals are. "Well, you go down this street and turn right at the big red building. Then go down a block and it should be on your left. If you want, I can escort you there." He knew it was a longshot, hut he had to ask. It would make keeping an eye on her a lot easier, and he wouldn't mind staying with this mare for a little while either. 'I guessthe worst she could say is no, so why not take a chance?'

Fire smiled, she was glad that the stallion was offering to help her to get to the pub.

"Could you? I know I'm bound to get lost, I can read and everything else but I'm never good with directions from the ear."

Fire was trying to make a funny, but most times she wasn't all that good at it. But she made the effort and that counted.

Hearing her attempt at a joke cheered him up a little. 'Good. I am not the only one struggling to try and sound cool or funny. But she said YES! My luck has turned around!'

 

"Well, follow me then." Code said as he beckoned her to follow. He then started walking towards the pub. 'Let's see what information I can get out of her.' He thought as he spoke up.

 

"So. What business do you have with that rat-hole of a place?" Code asked casually to the mare, not trying to sound nosy

Fire thought to just give him the truth, the stallion had helped her so far and, hopefully, help her in the near future. She took the list out of her jacket pocket with her magic.

"I'm on Business for Princess Luna. We need a team for something quite soon and I have to recruit everybody. I'm looking for some thugs in the pub and then a guard in the square we were just at. And I think there maybe more but I have no idea"

"Well, lucky for you, you can check off one of the members on the list. I'm that guard you were supposed to find as I was the only one stationed in that area. Sorry I don't really have the uniform on. The armor is damaged and I hate the helmet." Said Code as they walked up to the Devil's Pub. "Well, here we are." He said as he opened and held the door for Fire.

Fire smiled at him in thanks as he opened the door for her, though she didn't like the idea of him being gaurd. Hell, she didn't like the guards anyway. Though she could hold a polite relation with him since she had to work with them.

Fire looked around the slightly hazy pub, hazy from all the smokes, it was filled with ordinary folk and some rough looking thugs a well. Fire went to the bar and looked around for anypony that was on the list. She was looking for a stallion with no cutie mark but it was kind of hard to see in the pub.

Gloom was sitting at the corner of the bar, trying to keep out of sight. He's hunched over, nursing his thread glass of straight whiskey of the night, and he's still counting. When he heard the door to the bar open. His eyes instinctively looks towards it. He sees a mare and some doughy looking guard pony staring at the mares flank. The mare is eyeing the bar like she's looking for someone. Glooms instincts kick in. He leaves a bag of the bits he owes the barkeep on the counter, slowly gets up and starts heading to the backdoor, while trying to remain unnoticed.

Fire scanned the room, though casually like she was bored. As she was looking around the room she saw some movement, a stallion was walking away from the bar. As she looked him over she noticed something, no cutie mark! That must be the stallion she was looking for. Fire walked through the small crowds that had hung around the bar and the small tables. She kept calm as she walked around, looking bored. Her training had kicked in of course, they covered shadowing all that at the academy. She moved closer to the new stallion, somewhat trying to lose the guard. 

As the stallion was about to go out the back door she called out.

"Oi, don't you go running on me mister."

Fire said it with a joking attitude so that the stallion really wouldn't run. Though she was prepared to go after him.

Gloom had almost reached the back door then the sound of a mare calling after him made him stop. He has been in a situation many times before. He slowly  turns hid eyes then his head and then his hole body towards the mare that called after him. For some reason, he knew this mare was looking for him. It goes to show that his instincts were right again. He then lift a hoof to his knife while still looking at the mare."What gave you the idea I was running from anything, filly?" He asks in a slightly even and slightly annoyed tone of voice.

Fire ignored his tone in his voice, it was expected from somepony like him. She didn't want to talk to him in the populated pub but she should say something.

" I ain't no filly, and can we talk outside? Since you were heading that way anyway. And there's no need for a fight."

Fire could definitely fight him, she would have a chance. But she didn't want one inside.

Gloom looks around the bar to see if he could find another way to escape from this mare, but not finding any luck. " How do you know I wasn't just heading for the crapper, FILLY? I had a big meal a while ago, and sometime it just goes right threw me." He smirks. "And I don't mind talking about what ever reason you want to talk about right here. And I might have a reason to fight."

Fire nearly laughed when he said that he may have needed to go to the loo, the toilets of this place were in the different direction and pretty clogged up. She noticed when she came in.

" I think the princesses would like to keep this outside, considering this is their business. Afterwards you can go but this specifically can't wait. And as a representative of the equestrian military, you have no reason to fight."

Gloom clinches his knifes handle and annoys after she snorted a little from what he said. One of the things on the list of many things that annoys Gloom, is someone laughing at him. It's right above, being who don't cover there mouths when they sneeze. "And what  pray tell dose sunny-butt and lunatic Lu want with me? I ain't even from this pansy ass country."

Code entered the pub after Fire and started to look around the whole place. Looking at all the people and all the things on the walls. The more he looked, the more he felt out of place. He looked back down and saw Fire nowhere to be found. 'Really?! She ditched me already? I guess luck hasn't changed any.' Looking around, Code tried finding Fire, but just couldn't see with the smoke in the air. Only when Fire called out, did he able to find her. Following her voice, he saw her talking with a shady character who looked ready for a fight. They kept their back and forth going as Code sat back and waited, anticipating a fight to break out.

Fire just shook her head, of course the princess wanted a stallion that wasn't from around the place. Fire respected the princesses but sometimes they really don't think all that well.

"Princess Luna, she wants you to fight for a cause. Which I believe, for a stallion like yourself, is something that you'll be interested in. Now, can we take this talk outside so I can tell you what it is."

@, Gloom thinks about this for a sec, why in the hell would one of the princesses want him to fight a damn cause? Sure, hes got quite the reputation for finishing every job he accepts, no matter how hard. That and he's one of the best knife fighters around. And what ever the Princesses want, they might be willing to pay...BIG TIME. "Hehe, alright lass. Follow me." He walks outside, lights a cigarette with a copper colored lighter and waits in the ally for her.
