Being a mare allows for the cattiness that she brings out in the mane six. I think one reason people dislike Boost Busters is how catty the mane 6 are, but I actually do think Hasbro made the right call.

I hate trixie already, nothing could make me hate her more.

And nothing could ever make me like her.

Trixie is a detestable creature and I honestly have no idea how anyone could ever like her.

Well, it seems this is new news for me, I'm quite surprised.

But I guess Trixie wouldn't have this awesome voice, so I guess she is better as a female.

But I wouldn't mind male Trixie, even if the name doesn't fit pretty well.

Eh, I feel Trixie wouldn't be as enduring if she were a male. A male character would be okay, but I find that female Trixie has more charm to her. That and her voice is oh so perfect and she is cuter as a female!
