Don'forget your Snowfall Coats.

Hearth and Isabelle break through a door, locking it tight behind them. They shed their coats and sit down, panting, and blacking out on the spot.

Blazing ran inside and slammed the door. He had needed to get home as quickly as possible. Even though he had a coat, he knew if he stayed out there any longer he would've been dead. "I'm safe... For now..." He said to himself. He could barely stand, but at least he had made it inside safely.

Frost pulled his scarf over his snout. Even with a full coat, hood, and scarf. The cold was becoming unbearable, it didn't matter how much he had, when night fell he would be an icicle before morning. He strained his eyes to see a small hut. He trotted over to it and slowly pushed open the door, his pistol drawn. Nopony was inside from what he could tell. He took out his open lantern and lit it. What little warmth the lamp provided was good enough for him. "That's better." he muttered setting down his pistol next to him.

It was a disaster. Wearing a large coat with a scarf and ear muffs, she still wasn't warm. Not even near warm. Infact, she was still shivering while rubbing her hooves together to keep warm. What was going on, and why? Wasn't it summer? Her house was overtaken by the snow and power, while not being able to go out and find food. And if she did, snow would come into her icy house and ruin it. One day she needed to go find food, and opened a window instead of a door. Snow piled up in her house, ruining it and forcing her out. Now she was sitting alone out of sight with the largest coat she could find and some other things she could find through the thick snow. Food was gone, she even looked and tried to steel some in a pitch black store. Nothing. But on the good side, this was a sign of survivors unless they have all died by the icy atmosphere. Suddenly, a loud crash broke her train of thoughts. Rosey shuffled her position and stared behind her with her eyes wide with fright. The crash sounded out again, and some birds flew out from the trees and screeched with annoyance. At this, the young mare got up and ran away from where she was previously, not knowing where she was going...and what that noise was. Finally she saw a house. No...she got closer and realized it was smaller. It looked dark, but it also looked empty. Rosey took her chances and ran toward the front of the door, handling the knob and turning around several times to check for unwelcomed gusts. The door finally pushed open, and the mare sputtered forward in a trip as some snow scattered onto the shed floor. Immediately she turned around and slammed the door, turning around and pushing back into the corner. Since she was breathing so quickly, she did not realize she wasn't the only one in that shed.

Golden Age walked slowly through the frozen landscape, holding the frizzen of his musket under his armpit to keep it from freezing. Although he had his snowfall coat and an extra 10 pounds of wool clothes on, the cold still found a way to bite at this skin and make him shiver without end. He eventually came upon an old abandoned cellar. He unsheathed his bayonet as a precaution and slowly entered, closing the already opened door behind him.

It was empty

His sheathed his weapon and freed himself from the restraint of the knapsack. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a spare piece of flint. He managed to collect several small logs along the journey and threw them on the ground. He found decayed leaves in the cellar and used them to start a fire made by the spark of the flint. He sighed in relief as his body was met with a warm embrace. He layed his musket on his lap to warm it up as he layed against his knapsack.

Frost heard the door slam and jumped. He grabbed his pistol and slid himself against the wall knocking over the lantern and snuffing it out. The only light left was from the window, only showing a silhouette of the pony in question. He pointed his pistol in that direction and cocked back the hammer. "Wh-who are you? What do you want." he said with a drop of fear in his tone

Gloom took refuge in a rundown bar he found why trying to get out of the snowy hell outside. He boarded up the windows and the doors. Even with his three layer bear hide coat he's still freezing his balls off. It was lucky he had enough food and water to last him for a while. That and a good amount of booze to last him a good while as well. He looks around and finds a large washtub. He starts cutting up wood from the counter and starts a fire in the washtub, trying to get himself warmer.

''What?! D-Don't shoot!'' Rosey yelled after seeing the tip of the gun through the shadows. Her wings flailed out and covered parts of her face, but the question of the stallion caught her attention and she answered with a soft groan.

''I'm...Rosey. And I'm here...because I thought this shed was empty.''

The young mare replied in a shaky voice, ducking her head slowly into the heavy coat she wore.

Hearthsong awoke with a start, feeling the cold nipping at him. "But we're inside." he thought aloud, until taking notice of a crack in a window nearby. "Missy, it's time to wake up." he said to Isabelle, pulling on his coat. He was feeling the frost on the tips of his mane and panicking.

"Wha.." Isabelle questioned groggily, and then yawned.

"Ah said, it's time to go." Hearthsong snapped lightly, while pulling on Isabelles coat. 'What I wouldn't give for a day of sun.' he thinks to himself as they trudge back out into the snowy, foggy wasteland.

Frost heard the voice of a young mare....about his age, and she seemed frightened. He lowered the pistol and relit the lamp. "I'm sorry for scaring you, its just I don't feel like I can take chances." he said softly as he pulled out some food, and a bowl from his saddle bags and put it over the lamp. "Hope you like beans, that's all I've got for right now." he said putting on a smile while stirring the beans.

The frightened stallions voice vanished and turned into something soft and warming. She lifted off the corner of the shed and glanced toward the stallion, smiling uneasily. Actually not being very fond of beans, she accept the generous offer anyways.

''I would love some beans. I am quite hungry.''

The mare replied softly, watching as he held the food over the light. Her mane was now messed up and ragged between clumps of ice, but still held it's shape and color. Who cares, anyway? They were in the middle of an apocalyptic situation.

Pluse was running through the show, shivering, cursing the freezing winds that battered her face. Even her excelled vision was ruined by the swirling snow that danced like little white stars across her vision, burning. brightly until her hot breath melted them.

She knew her powers were weakening; food was scarce and what she could find was as weak and thin as her or already frozen to death. Her only hope was to find some survivors she could devour, and her first stop was the town.

A bar sat, piled with snow, the doors and windows boarded up. Perfect. Bars usually had fireplaces and lots of food, though they likely didn't cater to the meat-eating citizens of the world. Pluse didn't really care, as long as she could get something into her system until she could find better pickings. The only trouble would be getting in the door.

Even with all her clothing, Pluse was freezing. She could swear her thick fur was stiff with icicles at this point, and electricity would be useless on the wood even if she could muster it up. Her only hope was to wish that some plump traveler was inside to let her in and promptly get eaten. Even corpses would be okay at this point. If it was boarded up, someone was in there - it was rundown but not in the shape of something that had been overly neglected over the years.

She began to bang on the door.

@@Gloomfury

"Hello?" Pluse shouted as she knocked harder to be heard over the screaming winds. "Is anyone there? Please, I'm weak, let me in..."

She prepared herself to pounce for as soon as the door opened.

Nova had a touch of frostbite. She can still feel its icey demise, but she ignored it and scavenged and searched through building to building. The blizzard seemed to be quite strong for her to see. She pulled out a goggle powered by magic to enhance vision and her surroundings. "I'm really getting lonely here..... Is anyone out there?" she yelled. She check on how much food she has scavenged before moving on to an old cellar. Before entering, she turned around and looked at the suspicoius object that has fallen. She turned away from it and moved on, for it was just an icicle.

Frost poured most of the beans into a smaller bowl and gave it to the mare. "Here Rosey. You look like you could eat more than me." he said still smiling as he reached back into his saddle bags to get his knife so he could go cut some small twigs to start a fire, the lantern was not going to cut it when night fell. He looked and looked but couldn't find it, he looked up at Rosey. "I'll be right back, I think I dropped something outside." he muttered as he stood up, grabbing his pistol with his magic and going to the door. "My name is Frost by the way." he said as he stepped outside. "Yep right there." he thought seeing his knife laying in the snow. He went to grab it when he heard rustling in the bushes to his left. He jolted his pistol up an fired BAM. "Crap." he scolded himself

Golden Age sprung up from his day dreaming at the sound of the door creaking open. He cursed out loud for not having his gun loaded and unsheathed his bayonet while hoping for the best. "Halt! What are ye? Friend or foe!?" he shouted in a demanding and menacing tone.

"Woah! Does it look like I'm a foe?" She took off her goggles and glared at the mysterious stallion in front her. By the time she finished the sentence, she reached in her bag and held a knife just to put it back in her bag. "No, I can't go that far. I can't continutue by myself."

@, Gloom put down the frying pan with two raw steaks he was about to cook over the fire.  He pulls out his knife and slowly walks toward the front door of the bar. Throughout his life he has grown cautious cause of his work. He stats taking down the stools he bard the door with and cracks open the door. "Find someplace else. This is my sanctuary."

Golden Age lowered his weapon rather quickly. "Sorry 'bout that...I reckon I ain't keen to takin' any chances" he chuckled in embarrassment. The two stood there in a few moments of awkwardness before he broke the silence by asking her to sit down "I'm Golden Age, though most just call me Goldie, what's yours?" His menacing behavior was soon replaced with a friendly replacement.

"Name's Nova, Nova Construct. But you can call me Nova because it's that simple anyways." She observed the cellar and made a frown. "How long have you been here? The place is terrible to settle in!" She sat down on a fallen barrel waiting for the stallion's response.

"30 minutes to be exact...I-" he stopped at the sound of a discharge of a firearm, and it was not far away. He got up and started packing up "Got a point lass, this place ain't the best place around. Y'hear that shot? Perhaps we might be able to find someplace better, maybe even make a bigger team. Y'know what they say, 4 heads are better than two.". He quickly loaded his musket, put out the fire, and beckoned her back out into the snowy barren landscape.

Frost quickly reloaded a ball into his pistol before walking over to the bushes. He poked his head tgrough them to see a squirrel that had been taken down by his shot. "Celestia, wasting my ammunition on a lousy squirrel." he scoffed as he pulled his head out of the bushes.

Hearth dragged his feet through the snow. With Isabelle on his back, as always, he was an unstoppable force. He couldn't help but feel warmer. He realized that Isabelle was sleeping. He then saw something like a godsend. He ran up to a barn, and swung open the doors. "A dog sled team!" He whispered loudly. He took some supplies and loaded them onto the carriage. He strapped in Isabelle, and stood on it. "Mush!!" He shouted and sped into the snowy fields.

Blazing thought he was finally safe, but something had to prove him wrong. A few sparks shot off from his horn, something that only happened when his one of his only friends was in some sort of trouble. They were linked by magic so that if either of them were in serious trouble, the other one's horn would do that. "Why now? Why now of all times?" He wondered out loud. He put his coat on and ran out into the snow.

A crack was all that Pluse needed as she shoved all of her powerful weight against the doors, slamming through and landing on top of Gloom. Just as she was about to attack, she noticed the meat that he was cooking, and she withdrew her claws, her strange eyes blinking.

"Looks like we're one and the same, Grandpa," she smirked as she backed off him. "And it looks like there's enough for two."

Pluse was relived - someone here had a supply of food she could actually eat and shelter. Without asking, she sat down and smiled at him cockily. "I prefer mine raw, if you don't mind."

Hearth was slow at first, but began to get the hand of the callouts. The wind was icy, but he felt that his survival chances were greatly enhanced. (+10)(Just kidding) As he rode along, a stallion walked out in front of him. "No, no, no." He shouted as he was forced to grab Isabelle and jump from the sled. He jumped up and turned to Blazing Hoof. "What the Hell's yer skydamned problem ya blind sack o' crap!!!" He shouted
