   Hello anyone, here after two years of watching My Little Pony-Friendship is magic I finally joined the herd, before that I was in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman, after my service was complete I was battling PTSD, while I have heard of MLP, I put off watching it for one reason or another, until November 2011 around Thanksgiving, I saw my first episode, "Mysterious Mare Do Well", looking back now I can see that the episode was not the best; however it did inspire me to look on YouTube, for more episodes until I caught up to "Mysterious Mare Do Well". I later keep hearing the word "Brony" passing around, but didn't know that means until I typed it on the internet, and discovered that MLP has a huge fan base, even military and former military fans, I did more research and saw how diverse the fans were, and why the show was so significant, in a time of insipid and bland television programs.

   I wanted to join the herd but again I put it off, finally season three came and I really enjoyed it, also I found fan videos, artwork, and original songs I was close to being apart of the bronies, then it was Equestria Girls that finally persuaded me to join, so that brings me here. I can tell that the movie has mixed reviews, but I enjoyed it enough and was genuinely moved by it, so as a fellow brony, I felt I could be apart of something positive, creative and blossoming, I hope to do something special, like art, music, or a fan video, I would like to do those things, and I believe MLP and bronies would contine to influence and deliver; together we have already made it more than a mere TV show.

   Anyway, I sincerely hope to chat and meet other bronies and military bronies, the possibilities are like endless. My favourite ponies are Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, yet I like all the pegusus ponies, they are my favourite, the ability to fly and control the weather even walk on clouds is quite powerful imagery, of coarse they are not ordinary earth ponies nor have magical powers as the unicorns, no disrespect to the earth ponies or unicorns. The pegasus ponies have captured my imagination, while at the same time respect the other ponies as well, for no matter what there origins are the ponies live together, and dare I say the bronies are just as complex and dynamic and the ponies. Once again hello to any pony, I may be new to all this, I hope to become more involved in time, I am glad to have joined the herd, and eagerly await to see what My Little Pony Friendship is Magic has to offer the fans.

Welcome to the forum.  The ability to move clouds and walk on them does sound like a neat ability.  As is taking a nap on clouds like Rainbow Dash has been shown to do, and living on clouds.  There are many threads for you to read here and post to, good luck.  I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun on here.

Well first and formost: Thank you for your hard work and sacrifice in serving the country of USA, I try to show my gratitude to our military despite I hate war and violence on any scale, but the men and women are doing their duty to their best ability and risking their lives so that we citizens can continue to live ours the way we want happily, for that I salut and hug ya cyberly!

 

Second I may not be of the miltary, just your average silly girl who loves cartoons, hopes to be an animator with the big boys and I am also a pegasus pony! I never really did consider the functions of what it means to be a pegapony other then the perks of flying which I love, but oh yes...the ability to control the weather and sleep/live on clouds...even more perks for me! Names Lightning Bliss and I love being a pegapony on the MLP forums, my fiance (if he were a brony, hes not hes a trekkie lol) would be a unicorn here because he loves the Sci Fi magic lol!
