OC Character Design Help

Okay, I was wondering how to give a few of my characters a bit of extra flare. In their design and personality mainly.

 

Pixie Dust. Look in my sig for the rest of her bio.

 

This is my newest OC. She only cares for herself. Shes not mean, but only because she can't care less. She mostly ignores ponies she deems unworthy.

 

Despite all this she doesn't have a name yet, so suggestions would be great.

Back story and personality WIP. I can't say much about it. Back story is what makes a character. One's true name is crafted by one's story itself. I need her back story to give my words about her.

 

The colour scheme is lovely, and perhaps better than mine (lol). I must say, you OC looks very cute in that pose, and the colour scheme fits her personalities, based on what I saw on that short text you put on the character page.

Yeah, only cares about herself. Why is she so cocky anyway? Is he the best student in her class or something? I need her back story to make sure that everything makes sense. The pose shows her cockiness properly, by the way.

 

About the colour scheme, I feel that the coat colour is sharp, but still in a tolerable rate. You can keep it, but personally I will make it a little lighter or paler.

 

I can hardly differ her mane and Pixie Dust's. Her tail curves a bit too much, but hey, it's a cartoon after all.

Pixie's hair is actually supposed to be a bit more wavy. But yeah, with the two pics I gave they do look rather similar.

 

I might go and make the second one's coat white, since I think it would look better. And she was always the best in her class in flight school and her cockiness has carried over to her teenage-adult years, even though she isn't the flier she once was. There aren't many mean pony characters.

Sound like that type that is either really secluded or has low trust, but it is interesting.

 

I gotta say, I love the design and color pattern!

 

Why not Misty? Or better yet, Krystal?
