Ten ran up and pulled her off of Six. "Don't wake him up! If he loses, we all lose! Don't you get it!? Let Riza heal the wounds he has already!" ten had come this far, and he sure as hell wasn't losing now.

Shadow walked up to Six and bent down by his ear trying to use his mind and voice to reach him "Its all in your head, its fake." he wispered.

Rain spun around to Ten. "Uh, WHAT THE HAY DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?"

Six felt his heart drop, he was living the same day that he left home, the day he became truly alone. He slowly sat down, tears pouring out of his eyes, his real world self corresponding accordingly. Ah... ahm alone... ahm all alone... He sank to the floor and cried... No... he heard a voice say, looking up, he saw an image of his older self, a look of determination in his eyes, "Wh... What?" asked the young Six, Ya aint alone, ya got friends closer than ya think, and a mare that you care for dearly, dont let this shadow win, if ya dont win, then its all over... Six stood up slowly, a flare of confidence rising in his chest, "Y... yer right... Ah cant let mah friends down... Ah cant let Rain down... mah friends need me as much as I need them..." as he said this, he realized the older Six was gone... no... he WAS the older Six! "Ah aint afraid of ya no more Shade..." he said, his voice rang true and confident, his unconcious body taking on a calmer, stronger look. He looked to his side and saw his guitar, he reached for it, "Just like grandpaw always said, play to make the pain go away" and with that, he began to play...

Rain relaxed a little bit when she saw his conditions improving. Realizing how she'd acted, she sheepishly turned. "I'm sorry guys, I...well I lost my mind a bit there."

Great. Bet that shadow pony's figured out what's going on by now, she thought to herself grimly, shielding it.

Rain glared at him. "Don't act like you weren't worried about Riza," she spat. "Just because I'm more vocal than you are about your emotions does NOT give you that right. Okay? Just because I WANT to help someone I care about does NOT make me a lesser pony than YOU!"

As Six played, everything around him seemed to vanish, his fear, sadness, and anger was gone... the only thing left was happiness, the feelings he had for his friends... the feelings he had for... her... slowly, Six opened his eyes and struggled to sit up, wincing as he felt his pained body...

Rain flew over instantly and tackled him in a bear hug.

"You're okay!" she squealed, and then suddenly her eyes darkened. "But...if you don't want to talk...that's okay." She bung her head. "I know it wasn't really me, still...I feel like crap."

Ten was fighting back the anger welling up inside him. he knew she was upset about six, but she was just pressing the wrong buttons. "There's a difference between vocalising your emotions and letting them control you. And I'll excuse that last little remark about Riza because you're clearly letting your emotions control you. But if you think for one goddamn second that I don't care about everypony in this group, then you clearly know NOTHING about me...". Ten was now breathing hard, resisting the urge to completely lose his s**t at Rain.

(goddamn ninja post... I'm not editing this out though. It took a long time to write, and it was hard to get the emotion just right)

Six was surprised by the hug, but he accepted it nonetheless, blushing slightly as he did. He then rose an eyebrow at what she said, pulling her into a hug of his own, he whispered into her ear, "Now why would ah not want ta speak to you? Ah new that wasnt the real you... aint nothin gonna ever change the way ah feel about ya Rain, nothin..." he placed a hoof under her chin and lifted her head to look into her eyes, a soft smile on his face...

Rain ignored Ten-she wasn't entirely sure about him right now. She focused on Six's injuries, trying to find what was wrong.

I'll deal with him later, ripping his goddamn head off isn't going to solve any of our problems.

"Shadow was telling me what was going on...I was so cruel to you," she whispered back, looking back at him.

Rain couldn't listen to Ten anymore. She gently pulled away from Six. "I'm sorry, one second."

She walked over to where Ten was and looked down at him. "I wasn't informed about this new princess. What's her name?" she asked coldly.
