Rain heard someone singing outside and set the book down. She stepped out to see Riza gently singing to Ten, who was out like a light.

"How's he doing?" she asked quietly, concerned. Shadow could've killed him. Good thing Riza knows what she's doing. Unlike SOMEPONY.

She tried to take the thought back but it was too late.

Argh! Stupid mindreading!

She really needed to control her thoughts now.

"He is doing well. His breathing is normal and the bleeding has stopped. He's going to have to take some medicine each day for about a week, but he'll be back on his hooves in no time."

Shadow smiled at Rains thoughts "im surpised I almost killed that pony and nopony seems to care, I would of expected a fight." he said with a smile "maybe there smarter than i thought."

She turned and saw a smug looking Shadow. "'Scuse me, Riza. I've got somepony to talk to."

 

She walked up to Shadow. "So. How're you feeling? You almost killed one of our team members. Congrats on "protecting" us," said Rain. "Sure he attacked you but there was no need to launch him like that, especially considering your power."

Shadow sees Rain approaching him "Not what i was expecting....but i guess more futile talking may make your mind feel better...."

*Riza nodded and turned towards her medicine bag. She needed to mix up some more potions to make up for the ones she had used to heal Ten, and the medicine he would need to take.*

"So?" demanded Rain. "What do you have to say about yourself?"

"What do i have to say for myself? well what do you? you thought it yourself, if your wouldent of argued with me none of this would of happend." he said with a smug smile.

[Power Ten 213]

As soon as the singing stopped, Ten began to wake up. He noticed Riza leaving and mumbled, "I wanted to give you," he held out the remaining poison joke flowers, "these. Thank you."

"Don't you DARE talk to me lik-," said Rain, but remembered what happened before and stopped. "Do you mind having a little respect for privacy?"

"haha i guess not, now.....what have you come to say?"

[Mephala 2,633]

"So you're not picking through my mind to guess what I'm going to ask?" asked Rain sarcastically. "Like I said before, you need to be more careful. You're here to 'protect' us, not nearly kill us. You're lucky Riza knows what to do." She glanced over at the griffin. Ten seemed to have woken up.

Care to apologize? She knew he was listening.

"Not a problem. We are friends after all."

"Thats it? huh...would of expected better. And no im not always looking into your mind, besides you were trying to hide it, I diddent feel like digging for something you were already about to tell me....." he said with a smirk.

[Mephala 2,633]

"I don't feel like endangering any more lives," said Rain sharply. "If that means tolerating you then that's how it's going to work."

[Power Ten 213]

"Friends..." Power Ten trailed off. "You know... You're the first in a long time who I can call my friend..." he was wistfully smiling up at the sky.

[Chickey 383]

"Oh really? that one wanted to hurt me." he then pointed to Ten "oh and boots brung some sort of spirit he said COULD kill me." he said with a laugh.

[Mephala 2,633]

"I'm not worried about Boots or Ten. At least both of them have their sanity," quipped Rain. "And you were on the verge of attacking someone. I'm not sure what Boots did but it worked. And now he's a baby." She paused. "Actually, wanna explain that one to me?"

[Apollo 297]

"Friends..." Power Ten trailed off. "You know... You're the first in a long time who I can call my friend..." he was wistfully smiling up at the sky.

*Riza said and sat down next to Ten*

"Well his other self wanted to kil me, so i asked a question and it turned into the chaos spirit of death. who would of guessed right!" he said "so Boots told me to stab it in the eyes, and then it was banished out of him untill he reforms back into his old self again. I should of just blasted him away though...."

"If thats what you'd like to do. You are a very interesting pony. I feel like there is a lot I could learn from you."

"Uh yeah, that's probably best," said Rain, suspiciously keeping an eye on Shadow. She didn't want him to interrupt Riza and Ten to apologize just yet, not now that they were chatting with each other. I WILL make you, she thought, putting as much venom into it as possible without speaking.
