*Riza got up and began to walk towards the forest, and saw Shadow and Ten sitting at the edge of camp.*

"Hey, is everything alright?"

*She asked them.*

"That shadow pony keeps bothering people, he also said hes coming to talk to you next" he said in a calm manner.

"I dont like the sound of the way you said "talk". Im scared........"

"He seems to not want to attack. he is just toying with us, but im not sure." he said in a more concered voice.

Ten looked around for the source of the voice. He finally caught sight of Riza, he breathed a sigh of relief. "Riza, I'm glad you're ok." He saw her worried look, "I'll stick with you so he can't do anything to you" he offered. "Where are you off to anyways?"

The shadow pony then appeared for all to see

 

"dang it! Why did you have to ruin the surprise? And yes talk, I've chatted with every pony else except you"

(Just an FYI, and sorry to be a grammar police here, its spelled Sure, not Shure.)

 

*Riza had a concerned look on her face.*

"Then it probably wouldn't be a good idea for me to go out alone to gather herbs."

 

Ten looked around for the source of the voice. He finally caught sight of Riza, he breathed a sigh of relief. "Riza, I'm glad you're ok." He saw her worried look, "I'll stick with you so he can't do anything to you" he offered. "Where are you off to anyways?"

 

"I was going to gather herbs, but I don't think that would be a good idea anymore."

"Shadow looked at the shadow pony "Look, im done with you" he said as he appeared to the side of it. igniting his hoof in purple flame, he came to punch it in the face again.

"Shadow and I can come with you, right Shadow? We need to be fully stocked in case anypony else gets hurt."

"so anyway, I asked ten but he didn't respond, what would you call a cross between a griffin and a pony, I came up with the name poffins what do you think?"

 

Shadows punch connected, but just went through the shadow pony as if he was gas

Ten glared at the shadow pony, who seemed intent on toying with him and Riza. "Why do you keep asking that?"

"Because I've been thinking about it for a while, and I wanted to see what you two think, now if you excuse me, I'm tring to have a chat with the griffin"

*Riza seemed uncomfortable in the Shadow pony's presence.*

"oh don't worry, I'm not here to hurt you I just want to talk, me and rain had a lovely chat" he then looked at shadow "until some pony interrupted me!"

Ten gave Riza a reassuring nod,"Go ahead and get it over with, we have herbs to collect."

*Riza smiled at Tens words and took a deep breath.*

"Fine Shade. Ask away."

Rain had arrived back at camp, and she saw the shadow pony standing there.

"Sup?" she said casually, as though unconcerned about his presence. She then looked at the others, who were a mixture of fear and annoyance.

"You bothering them again?" she said to the shadow with a little grin. "I thought you weren't coming back until those other ponies came."

Six followed closely behind, a pile of apples on his back, he dropped them when he saw the shadow once again, "Are ya serious? How many times are ya plannin ta show up?" he asked annoyed

"oh hi there rain, I figured I should talk to every pony here, so I'm talking to riza, so anyway, what would you call a cross between a pony and a griffin, I came up with poffins, what do you think?"

*Riza blushed and looked away for a moment but then looked back at the shadow pony and said.*

"I think that would be a fine name. A bit strange, but so is the mixture. But personally, I think when things are strange, it can progress to be something very...... good."

*She looked at Ten and blushed again.*

Ten blushed and shuffled his front hooves. "I... Um..." His face turned beet red and he lost all ability to talk.
