gaming Pokemon Mega Evolutions. Your thoughts?

If you know or not, Pokemon recently made a new feature. The feature is called "mega evolution", and it's an extra evolution for Pokemon that they can use once, and then they turn back to their original form. Honestly, as much as I love Pokemon, this copied Digimon. Digimon has mega evolutions too, and they turn back to normal after they use the evolution. What are your ideas about this? Do you think it's great or a copied terrible idea?

I guess it's a great idea. But if it was already done before, it is a good but yet a copied idea of originality. So, maybe it could go well.

To be honest it's not the idea I have problems with, it's the fact that Pokemon is using the idea that bugs me a bit. Largely because as you said, it's pretty what Digimon did, and it's not really necessary in Pokemon. But overall I don't really mind, it'll just depend on how Pokemon uses it.

You know, there can be game mechanics similar to an older game without "copying" it.

Using your logic, Earthbound copied Dragon Warrior, and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night copied Metroid.

 

 

Me? I think this it's great.

I'm excited to see what mega evolutions they give the good ol' original 151.

I kind of like it. I mean, the mega evolutions look cool and whatnot. So, there is that. I'll still say it is a good idea until I play the new game and see it for myself. Then, I will make my final judgement.
