Dreadmallon 353 September 26, 2013 Share September 26, 2013 For the purpose of making a new OC for a fanfiction, I would like to know what the terms "earth" (ground) and "warrior" are in other languages (pronunciated in English, please)?
IceBeerG 55 September 26, 2013 Share September 26, 2013 I'm not sure how i have to write it here. Well... If you are going to write it on russian, there will be "zemlia" for ground and, "voin" for warrior. That is how i will write this russian words using english alphabet. Althouth it pronouniated a bit different. It a pitfall for me, but i would try to say it correctly - for ground it is going to be "zemlea" (with a short "e") and "voien" Since you need to use it for OC, i would most likely suggest to use first variant. Inactive01 5,299 September 26, 2013 Share September 26, 2013 For Indonesian, ground is "tanah" and for warrior, it's "pahlawan". It's quite exotic, so if you like an exotic OC, then Indonesian is the way to go!

Marshmallow 1,137 September 28, 2013 Share September 28, 2013 (edited) In french: Earth: Terre Warrior: Guerrier Not very masculine I guess, but I have no ideas how it sounds, since it's my first language lol. Well, it's up to you. For the pronunciation, I'd say it's something like "tair" for terre (pronounced like air but with a t in front) and "Geh-ree-ay" with a hard G for guerrier. If you're familiar with IPA, then terre is pronounced [t??] and guerrier is pronounced [g??je] But it sounds much more badass in German anyway Edited September 28, 2013 by Marshmallow "There was me, that is Pinkie, and my three droogs, that is Rarity, Rainbow, and Fluttershy, and we sat in the Ponyville Milkbar trying to make up our rassoodocks what to do with the evening." Sylvester 350 October 10, 2013 Share October 10, 2013 Well, the only other language I speak is Afrikaans so... Earth: "Aarde" Warrior: "Vegter" or if you'd rather use soldier: "Soldaat" I would add pronunciation, but that wouldn't end well...
