gaming Your opinion on the GTA V soundtrack

So I'm not all that into gaming, but I really enjoy the GTA series. I don't have GTA V yet, but I did look at the soundtrack, because I really like running over people while blastin' some wicked tunes.

My opinion:

THE LACK OF SWANS AND SUNNY DAY REAL ESTATE DISGUSTS ME

Okay, now my real opinion. I think they did a really good job with the hip-hop, except there's no Death Grips :< But at least they have some N.W.A and Dr.Dre, as well as some other modern stuff.

 

They get an A for the country station, I'll give them that.

 

The punk station's pretty good, they got Suicidal Tendencies, Black Flag, and Descendents. I wish they had Fugazi and Rites of Spring though...

 

The rock station is forgettable, especially since it has Def Leppard. And there's no metal station, well it's not like Vrock was all that great either. It had like 3 thrash songs and that was about it.

 

I wish there was an emo station :<

 

Oh and they got Aphex Twin *yay*

I love listening to West Coast Classics because I am so used to the Gangsta Rap, it just seems natural to listen to that while cruising near places by me :3

I don't think that the country station was all that good, honestly. I really liked the rap channel and the Electronic station was really lacking.

I honestly don't really like it that much. I enjoyed the hell out of the GTA IV soundtrack but there aren't too many songs I like in GTA V The only ones I do like are the songs featured in the trailers. Find myself just listening to all the talk radio stations.
