gaming Mortal Kombat Legacy Season 2

Hello there

Came across this today and had no idea they had actually finished season 2. My feed tells me it was uploaded about half an hour ago but the page says last week so no idea whats up with that but on topic I wonder what you guys think? To other fans of the series do you think its a decent enough adaptation of the games? non-fans do you enjoy it and make you want to pursue the games/story? To those who saw season 1 is this better or worse? Why is Liu Kang a drunken dick to Karaoke singers? I'll link the first ep and a link to the playlist but lemme know what you guys think

never heared of this series. never been much of a mortal kombat fan either, but this seems pretty awesome.

Only about half way through so far and that pop up are consistently decent much better than I was expecting for a youtube series but if you enjoy it enough check out season 1 as well ^^ they are more just origin stories but still a decent watch

It explains why Liu Kang is a jerk in episode 2 and later in episode 9 I think.

 

As a very hardcore (very, very, very too much hardcore) fan of MK and all of its mythologies, I like the series. It is low budget and I take that into account and while some parts could do with longer scenes and a bit more explainations (such as the time leaps from ancient Japan to present day); it is very good at capturing that MK feel.

 

I like how in this version it is more of a Battle Royale, with the opponents hunting each other down. I love seeing the fatalities done in more realisitic ways while keeping the MK vibe. Getting to see them use their actual powers it very neat as well and I LOVE Johnny Cage when he just says "F*ck this" and runs away. That is so true to his character.
