planning No Rainbows Over Ponyville Reboot

Rainbow Dash was never born so Twilight, Pinkie, Fluttershy, Rarity and Apple Jack never got their canon cutie marks. Twilight failed the Magic Academy audition and her and her parents (without Shining Armor) moved to Ponyville, in hopes of cheering their daughter up because she was so down over failing the test. 

Fluttershy moved to Ponyville because she couldn't keep up with the other pegasi.

Pinkie's family's rock farm shut down so they moved to Ponyville to start a new life. 

Rarity was unable to give the play costumes the right amount of 'fabulous-ness', so she never became a fashion designer/ 

And Apple Jack left Manehattan because she hated the fact that they ate practically nothing, but by the time she returns to her family she's too stuck up to fit in with them. 

 

So this is a roleplay about how the Mane 5 come together and become friends. 

 

Rules

-Stick to the outlines above. 

-This roleplay is going to have the same rating as the show, so no sex, language or anything. However ponified curse words are allowed. "What the buck are you doing?" "Nobody gives a flying feather!" 

-The plot is non negotiable.

-Only the DM (me) can change the time.

-No godmodding, gary stus/mary sues. 

-At least five sentences per post. Third person, past tense.

-No strictly dialogue posts. Ex: 

"Hi Butterball!

"Hey Macky Cheese what's up?

"Oh nothing much!"

-This roleplay is not first come first serve. If I don't like your character sheet, I can say no. 

- In the original role play we had a problem with art centered cutie marks. So I'm putting a temporary ban on artistic cutie marks.

-If you don't post in the first three days you will be removed. 

-If you suddenly stop posting, you will be removed.

-Please be creative!

A pair of sparkly ballet shoes

Loves attention. Wants friends, but doesn't know how to make them.

After failing to design the costumes pefectly, she looked around town to find a new hobby to take up. She decided to take dance classes after seeing graceful fillies in a studio window. While most fillies tripped and fell, she had always stayed on her hooves. Being the best in the class, she got the lead role in the recital. By peforming in this recital, she saw she had a gift for dancing.

Character Name: Pinkie Pie

 

Appearance: Permanent Pinkamena State, like in my Avatar picture

 

Cutie Mark: Stack of three books, with a fourth propped against them, open.

 

Personality: Never smiles, even when told the funniest of jokes, or feeling the greatest of feelings. At a first glance, seems to prefer solitude, yet upon further inspection couldn't long for companionship more.

 

Background Story: Pinkie's Family Rock businiess fails. The family moves to Ponyville to start a new life. Pinkie eventually finds the town library. Seeing how run-down and dull it is, she begins to care to it. Eventually she gains her cutie mark, and continues to run the library. Every now and then, somepony will come in to check out a book, but usually the building is quiet and lonely. Pinkie's family can't find anything to sustain themselves in Ponyville, and begin to wander, looking for a place to call home, yet Pinkie stays firmly in the library.

Oh lemme just post my own character sheet just to be fair.

 

Character Name: Twilight Sparkle

Appearance: Canon appearance except she alternates between this mane style  

and this mane style.

 

Cutie Mark: A ball of yarn and knitting needles.

Personality: Pleasant company, although she sometimes tries too hard to be cool. She only uses magic to make her craft and levitate various objects. 

Background Story: After her failed Magic Academy audition, Twilight became extremely sad and constantly obsessed over trying to use magic. Worried for her, her parents decided to move to Ponyville so their daughter wouldn't be so stressed. Twilight grew up a somewhat stress free life and found her talent in making accessories such as hats and scarves when she took up knitting as a casual hobby. She opened up a shop on the other side of town and moved out of her parents house and onto the floor above her shop. After she moved out, her parents returned to Canterlot as they preferred the city to the country.
