i mean that would gone against lauren's "I am woman hear me roar" gimmick,

But i think it might been fun to see a more immature twilight, a less responsible twilight sparkle putting off her duties.

Heh just relized what twilight is.  she's a lisa simpson that people do listen to on occasion.

I think it would been a fresh change of pace if

It isn't really possible that Twilight could have been immature except at a very young age. When she came to know Spike, she was likely even more mature by then. The series would have to be altered significantly in order for Spike to have been the mature one of the pair.

well spike has mental defects to.  He's horribly insecure,

but keep in mind

his best friend, big sister, mom, and teacher are all the same person, that's to be expected.

 

Maybe that's what the men on the show are missing?
