movies/tv Codename:KND: Am I the only one who didn't like OP: INTERVIEWS? *spoilers*

For those that didn't know this, I like KND, it's a really good show with a great cast of characters, great writing, high quality voice-acting, and really good artwork.

 

But the show's so-called conclusion, OP:INTERVIEWS, was an exception to this.

 

Personally, I hated the ending, most of what we thrown in felt like it was slap-dashed, it give out more plotholes than it fills, the live-action scenes with the adult Sector V Ops seemed out of place, and the overall plot of the episode though concluded the show, did so in an arbitrary fashion even by KND standards (a scavenger hunt, seriously?).

 

And given I thought KND was decently well-writen, I am, even today, not convinced that Mr. Warburton couldn't do a better job at wrapping up the plot. Granted, I learned that Warburton himself apparently found the part where Nigel said goodbye to his friends and family before leaving for the Galactic KND. But even after several years I still can't get why, that moment was one of the most contrived attempts at a tearjerker moment I've ever seen.

 

And I personally completely refused to consider OP: INTERVIEWS canon to the KND storyline, immature of me? maybe, but I've so far been happier for it.

 

Am I the only person that feels that way about Operation: Interviews? Chowder was lesser well-written cartoon than KND was, yet I thought it had a better conclusion than KND did with OP:INTERVIEWS.

I know I haven't seen INTERVIEWS, since I thought Operation ZERO was the conclusion, tying up all that really needed to be tied up.

 

But the ending to Chowder should NEVER be even SLIGHTLY glorified as you have chosen to do.

I am with you man becuase it was a series finale it wasn't suppose to  end  in a clifffhanger and the live actin WTF! Oh and there some slap in the face Bible references,I mean I am nurtual in religons,but really come on in cartoon that is a big no no in my book.

I didn't see interviews, I only saw Operation: Zero which I thought was the ending. But, maybe I'll see why interviews is a tearjerker.
