Bayonet went to got some bandages for her burns. Sens she was a blacksmith she knows how to take care of burns like these. She gets to work putting on burn ointment she had for emergencies on Lilas wounds. Then started wrapping them up. She then took a wet washcloth and washes off the ash and lightly dabs it on her burns to help with the pain, as she strokes her mane soothingly to calm her down.

Lila slowly began to wake up, her mind still cloudy an she didn't remember much of what just happened. She felt someone stroking her mane and turned to face Bayonet. "W-what are you doing?" she asked as she tried to sit up but had to lay back down. Her head throbbed but said nothing about it.

You have first degree burns on some parts of your body, but I puts some ointment on them sore they'll heal with time." She stokes her mane and smiles. "I was so worried you wouldn't wake up."

Lila let out a saddened sigh and let Bayonet comfort her. "This isn't the first time it has happened." She looked at the bandages around her body and lets out another sigh. "Why are you worried about me? No one has ever been worried about me..." Lila looked up at her with a worried look.

"F-friend?" she said a bit hesitantly. She shuffled her hooves nevously and looks away from Bayonet. "I-I don't know... I.... no no no no no no-" she shook her head vigorously. "No, I can't do that. Torn... she doesn't like friends.... she's killed my friends before...." she said, her voice wavering a lot.

"You don't get it! She doesn't tolerate friends at all!" Lila starte to get to her hooves in panic. "What if she wakes up and hears this?" Lila backed away from Bayonet ignoring the pain shooting through her body. "You shouldn't have helped me-" she began to try and rip the bandages off of her.

Bayonet quickly walks up to Lila and slaps her. Then looks at her with stern eyes. "This was your body before she came, you make the rules not her. Don't let her take over. You must show her who's boss and never give into her or let her get her way. Do you understand?"

Lila stared at Bayonet with shock and hurt written across her face. "You.... you slapped me..." She didn't really hear what Bayonet said but was more focused on the fact she had been slapped. Lila made eye contact with the stern look and shrunk down. "I'm sorry, I just... no friends... friends... aren't allowed... hate friends..."

Then bayonet wrapped her forelegs around Lilas neck and pulls her into a hug, then speaks in a soothing tone. "I'm sorry I slapped you. Just please, calm down. Just cause she doesn't like friends doesn't mean you don't. And like I said, I can handle her if she tries anything. And you run this body, not her." She pulls back and kisses the cheek she slapped. "Better?" She says with a warm smile.

Lila shook her head lightly and returned the hug. The kiss on her cheek surprised her and her cheeks flushed red. "It's not you I'm worried about her attacking... it's me..." Lila said as she took a few deep breaths and calmed herself.

Bayonet stokes her mane to calm her down. "I see." Sure she had her arguments with Shivty when she first came to be. But she never hurt her. And the thought of someone hurting Lila, even herself, angered her for some reason." You must assert dominance over her. It will be hard. But you must strengthen your will against her. And you must not fear her. Fear is her real power over you, she may hurt you. But she is also hurting herself. She just doesn't know it yet. I went through the same thing with Shivty. Now we really care for each other. But it took time, everything takes time. Do you understand?"

"She doesn't care about me, either way she'll torture me." Lila leaned into Bayonet a bit. "She'll do it until I can't even eat...or sleep.... I don't know how far she's willing to go..." she said as the though alone was torturing her and scaring her. "Why'd I have to be the one with a separate personality?"

After Equinox left, Muddle went into a near by dinner to think: about everything Equinox said, Turmoil, and what she would do next. "I can't deny I'll have to deal with her now, and I can't go home." She looked at a tomato paste sandwich she ordered and began losing her appetite. "Definitely not home. I need a place to stay, and someone I can trust."

 

"All you have to do is ask dearie."

 

She smiles nervously, almost cracked, and buried her head in her hooves so others couldn't see her face.

 Bayonet sees how much her other half as done to her. The fear in her voice says it all. She holds Lila closer to comfort her. She has no idea what she's been through. But she knows it was twice as hard for Lila then it was for her. She lightly nizzles her to calm her down a little more. "What if I talked to her?"

Lila didn't respond. She just allowed herself to be nuzzled and she let out a content sigh. "Why are you treating me so nicely?" Lila inquired as she laid down on the bed. She conjured a few of the fire orbs and spun them around in tight circles to give herself more things to concentrate on.

"To be honest, I don't know myself.  It could be that I know how hard it is for you case I've been through the same thing. It could be my parents raised me to always help others who needs it in anyway." Bayonet really isn't sure why she cares so much for Lila even though she just met her. Bet she want to get closer to her for some reason. "Or maybe I just like you." She says with a light blush.

Lila stopped spinning the orbs around and gave Bayonet a strange look. "Umm... what?" she asked, her mood quickly changing from worried to confused at the small statement. "What exactly do you mean by you 'like' me?" Lila's tail swished back and forth with anticipation waiting for the answer.

Bayonets face gets redder. "Um...well..." She didn't want to lie to her, but she's afraid she'll not want to see her ever again. She hade to be honest. "W-well, I've never met anyone who has another self like me. And it makes me happy to meet someone who know what it's like. That and you're very beautiful."

"I..." Lila was at a loss for words. She wasn't exactly sure how to approach the situation seeing that she's never had a coltfriend or a marefriend for that fact. Her ears flattened as she tried to think of something to say. Her ears perked back up and she opened her mouth to say something but nothing came out so she closed it again and decided it was best to sit quietly and not make herself look like an idiot.

Equinox blocked the attack in time and jumped backed. "Great...You must be Lighting...fine I'll fight you" He said taking a battle stance. "Okay Selene...awaken and dive into the shadows....COME GUARDIAN" He said causing a wall of darkness to rise and form into his shadow

Bayonets face was so read that she look like a tomato. She was never good at talking to mares like this. It makes her feel so awkward. It makes her feel a lot worse case Lila hasn't said anything yet. 'May be shes mad it me! Maybe she's so shocked and repulsed that she can't say anything!' She panics in her head. "I-I understand that you must not like me like that...or anymore for that matter. So I'll leave you alone." She tuns around and makes her way to the door, feeling shameful of her self for saying something like that to her.

Lila jumped up but collapsed back down, wincing as pain shot through her. She grabbed her side. "Bay wait!" Lila calls out but she didn't really know where to go from there. "Please come back." she pleaded, giving Bayonet a worried look. Lila laid there hoping that she wouldn't leave.
